Hinter dem Raupenfahrwerk erfolgt die Ablage der Neuschwellen und das Einspreizen der neuen Schienen. Für die Gleisneuverlegung muß die Maschine umgerüstet werden, indem das Raupenfahrwerk nun - bezüglich der neuen Arbeitsrichtung - vor der Vorrichtung zur Ablage der Neuschwellen am Maschinenrahmen montiert wird.
