Claims (13)
- Device for storing, transporting, and feeding a web of printing material (13) forming a roll (5) for a machine processing rolls of printing material, such as a printing press, including a device for receiving the roll, and a housing (2) that receives and surrounds the roll (5) and out of which the web of printing material (13) is unwindable and which has a base (7) constructed analogously to a pallet,
wherein retaining parts (2a) that are disposed opposite each other and are spaced-apart from each other each include supports for receiving a roll shaft (6) for unwinding the web of printing material (13), the supports disposed at the same level and substantially embodied as half shells (3),
characterized in
that the half shells (3) are supported eccentrically on the retaining parts (2a) and that the half shells (3) together are pivotable about an axis (4) parallel to the roll shaft (6) between a charging position, in which they can be charged with the roll (5) placed on a roll shaft (6), and an operating position, in which the roll shaft (6) is secured against falling out of the half shells (3), in order to lift a roll shaft (6) with a roll (5) supplied to the half shells (3) in the charging position to a level that is higher than the charging position by a distance (h) while pivoting the half shells (3) into the operating position. - Device according to claim 1,
