Definitions
- the invention relates to a modular barrier, in which each Module has a frame made of hollow profiles with a panel-like element is at least partially filled, the panel-like element in Protrudes longitudinal slots that are provided in the hollow profiles.
- Such barriers are used, for example, for fencing of machines and systems to prevent manipulation by unauthorized persons protect, but especially to protect people from touch injuries to protect parts of machines or systems.
- Modular barriers are known, such as in US-A-3,734,467, in which each module has a frame made of profile tube, with a panel-like element, for example a wire mesh or a sheet is filled.
- the frames are either welded or joined using corner connectors.
- the Disadvantages of these known barriers are in particular that the parts forming the frame must be exactly true to size and their Assembly is relatively expensive.
- Another significant disadvantage of such Barriers with rigid frames show up when several modules in be placed in a row on a floor of unevenness and / or Slope. The vertical profiles of two adjacent modules are then often not parallel, so that undesirable in the barrier There are gaps and there are also difficulties if neighboring modules are to be connected.
- the invention lies Based on the task of proposing a modular barrier of the type mentioned, which overcomes the disadvantages mentioned.
- the Modular barrier according to the invention very easy to manufacture and to be mounted and with minimal effort on bumps and / or slopes of the soil they support.
- a modular barrier to the beginning mentioned type which is characterized in that two at an angle to each other hollow profiles with play in a corner connector protrude such that they are adjustable in the frame plane in an angular range and that the module is made exclusively via the panel-like element is held together by thickening at its edges, whose dimensions are perpendicular to its plane the width of the longitudinal slots exceeds.
- FIG. 1 shows two modules 1 one in a cut-away elevation conventional modular barrier.
- Each module 1 consists of one Frame made up of two vertical hollow sections 3 and two horizontal hollow sections 4 is formed, which are held together by four corner connectors 5.
- the Hollow sections 3 and 4 face in towards the inside of the frame Surface on a continuous longitudinal slot that receives a grid 7.
- the Hollow profiles 3, 4 are in the corner connectors 5 by screws or by Welded seams attached.
- Feet 6 are attached to the lower corner connectors, which support the modules 1 on the floor 2.
- the floor that goes exactly horizontal in the right half of the figure runs to the left into a slope. This is both in factory buildings as well often the case, especially in outdoor spaces, because care is taken to ensure this must drain water that gets to the floor.
- FIG. 2 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 View of two modules 1 of a modular barrier according to the invention.
- the hollow sections 3, 4 and the corner pieces 5 are on the left Side of the module shown in Figure 2 only drawn the outline, so that it is visible how the grid 7 extends into the hollow profiles 3, 4.
- the frame of the left module 1 was made its rectangular shape adjusted to a trapezoid. This is due to the angular play enables the hollow sections 3, 4 to be accommodated in the corner pieces 5 are. How to do with the lower hollow section 4 of the module 1 on the left in FIG. 2 see, this runs parallel to the floor 2, whereas the grid 7 of this module 1 horizontally and parallel to the lower hollow profile 4 of the right one in FIG. 2 Module 1 runs.
- FIG 3 shows a corner area of a module 1 in an opposite Figures 1 and 2 enlarged, partially sectioned view.
- the corner connector 5 consists of two halves joined together like a shell, as can be seen particularly clearly in FIGS. 5 and 6, in FIG 3 only one of these halves is shown to look inside the corner connector 5 to release.
- the hollow profiles 3 and 4 are in play with corresponding Openings 14 of the corner connector 5 added, but not attached.
- the Module 1 is made exclusively of welded bars 8 and 9 existing grid 7 held together. With the vertical hollow profile 3 the horizontal bars 8 protrude through the longitudinal slot 13 with play and with the horizontal hollow profile 4, the vertical bars 9 protrude with play through the longitudinal slot 13.
- the width of the longitudinal slots 13 is dimensioned so that in each case the outermost one located inside the hollow profile 3 or 4 Lattice bars 9 and 8 do not fit through the longitudinal slot 13.
- This construction also allows adjustment of the horizontal and vertical dimensions of the frame.
- the dimensions can be compared to that in FIG. 3 shown position can be reduced by pushing the frame together by the dimension 2Y until the hollow profiles in opposite corner connectors come to the bottom of the opening 14.
- the dimensions compared to the position shown in Figure 3 by the frame is pulled apart by the dimension 2Z until the outermost Lattice bars on the inner walls of the hollow profiles in the area of the longitudinal slots 13 concerns.
- In the corner connectors 5 there are mounting holes 10 for attachment the feet 6 provided.
- FIG. 4 shows by means of a representation corresponding to FIG. 3, that the game with which the hollow profiles 3 and 4 in the corner connector 5 are included, in order to achieve the in connection with Figure 2 Objective described allows the hollow profiles in the frame plane by To adjust angle ⁇ and so the frame from its rectangular shape in to bring a rhomboid or trapezoidal shape.
- Figure 5 is an exploded perspective view of a corner area of the embodiment of the module according to the invention discussed above.
- the thickness of the grating 7 is approximately that twice the diameter of the bars 8 and 9 corresponds to that and the width the longitudinal slots 13 is somewhat larger than the diameter of the bars, but not as big as the diameter of two bars.
- the grid 7 in the longitudinal direction of the hollow profiles 3, 4 in the longitudinal slots 13 are pushed.
- the two halves Corner connectors 5 are assembled so that the hollow profiles 3, 4 in the Openings 14 come to rest. Finally, the two halves of the Corner connector 5 through a through the hole 17 protruding (not shown) Screw held together.
- FIG. 6 shows another embodiment in a representation similar to FIG. 5 the invention.
- a plate 15 is provided here, which consist of sheet metal or a plastic, for example plexiglass can.
- the edges of this plate 15 are chamfered approximately at right angles, they but could also be flanged. It is important that the at right angles to the The dimension of the edges measured at the plate level is greater than the width of the Longitudinal slots 13, so that the plate 15, the module as above using the example of Grid 7 described holds together. In the areas of the corner connector 5 is cut out the plate.
- FIG. 7 shows how the Modules for storage and / or transportation can be stacked on top of one another can.
- a mutual shifting of the stacked modules To prevent a stacking cam 11 (also in 5 and 6 visible) and a corresponding recess 12 is provided. In the partially cut areas of the figure you can see how a stacking cam 11 engages in a recess 12 of an adjacent module.
