Claims (5)
- Kühlvorrichtung für eine flüssiges Betriebsmittel einer Brennkraftmaschine,umfassend einen Wärmetauscher (2) mit diametral eines Kühlerfeldes (3) von Kästen (4) umschlossenen Kammern (5) sowieein den Wärmetauscherdurchfluss temperaturabhängig steuerndes Thermostatventil (6) in einem in einer der Kammern (5) mit dem Kasten (4) verbunden angeordneten Gehäuse (7), wobeieine betriebsmittelführende Verbindung in dem Gehäuse (7) zwischen einem Zulaufstutzen (8) und einem Ablaufstutzen (9) mittels eines von einem temperaturgesteuerten Hauptventil (10) des Thermostatventils (6) betätigten Kurzschlussventils (11) gesteuert ist,dass der mit dem Thermostatventil (6) ausgerüstete Kasten (5) ein das Kühlerfeld (3) in gegendurchströmte Abschnitte (12, 13) unterteilende Trennwand (14) aufweist mit einer vom Hauptventil (10) gesteuerten Durchbrechung (15), unddass das Gehäuse (7) stromab des Zulaufstutzens (8) eine zum Vorlauf-Abschnitt (12) des Kühlerfeldes (3) betriebsmittelführende Vorlauf-Durchbrechung (16) aufweist, diebei die Verbindung zum Ablaufstutzen (9) sperrendem Kurzschlussventil (11) wirksam ist, wobeidas gekühlte Betriebsmittel aus dem mit dem Vorlauf-Abschnitt (12) über die andere Kammer (5) verbundenen Rücklauf-Abschnitt (13) über das geöffnete Hauptventil (10) des Thermostaten (6) dem Ablaufstutzen (9) zugeführt ist.
- Kühlvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,dass der Wärmetauscher-Kasten (5) mit der Trennwand (14) ein integriert angeordnetes Thermostatventil-Gehäuse (7) aufweist, dasüber eine zulaufstutzenseitige Öffnung (17) einen an einem Verschlussdeckel (18) angeformten Einsatz (19) aufnimmt, derstromab des am Verschlussdeckel (18) ebenfalls angeformten Zulaufstutzens (8) über den Umfang verteilte Durchbrüche (20) aufweist undder als Widerlager einer das Hauptventil (10) und das Kurzschlussventil (11) mit Kurzschlussdurchgang (21) umfassenden Baueinheit (22) dient, wobeidas mit dem Kurzschlussventil (11) eine Ventileinheit bildende Hauptventil (10) unter Zwischenschaltung einer Rückstellfeder (23) mittels des Einsatzes (19) der trennwandseitigen Durchbrechung (15) zugeordnet ist.
- Kühlvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass einem Kurzschlussdurchgang (21) mit kreisförmigem Querschnitt als Kurzschlussventil (11) ein Kolbenschieber (24) zugeordnet ist.
- Kühlvorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet,dass der Wärmetauscher-Kasten (5) mit Trennwand (14) einschließlich Thermostatventil-Gehäuse (7) einstückig aus einem Kunststoff gefertigt ist, wobeiggf. ein Einfüllstutzen (25) angeformt ist.
- Kühlvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung als Wasser- oder Ölkühler, insbesondere für Einspurfahrzeuge.
