Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fire alarm system with fire detectors, which have at least one sensor for the detection of a fire characteristic and an evaluation for processing the signal of the at least one sensor and the triggering of an alarm when a predetermined alarm value is exceeded by said signal.
- the US 4975684 describes how to increase the false alarm security of fire alarm systems in response to pressure changes of the environment to be monitored electrical signals emitting acoustic sensor whose output signal is linked after amplification with the also amplified output of a fire sensor.
- the sensitivity of the fire detectors used in the fire alarm system is changed depending on the output signal of the acoustic sensor, ie the presence of sources of interference in the space to be monitored.
- the linking of the signals can take place within a fire detector, or the evaluation of the signals can be carried out in a central evaluation unit.
- the invention is now intended to provide a fire alarm system which is capable of providing, in addition to fire detection, information about human activity in the individual To provide rooms to allow easy adjustment of the alarm values to the presence of persons in the room in question and / or the targeted evacuation of people from rooms with a fire.
- this object is achieved in that the at least one sensor is associated with an activity sensor for the detection of movements of persons in the relevant room.
- a first preferred embodiment of the fire alarm system according to the invention is characterized in that, based on the signal of the activity sensor, a local adaptive adaptation of the fire alarm system to the movement activities in the relevant room takes place.
- a second preferred embodiment of the inventive fire alarm system is characterized in that based on the signal of the activity sensor, a central display of the locations of a building with movement activities.
- the fire alarm system is assigned an escape route display and / or evacuation system, in which the said central display takes place.
- a third preferred embodiment of the fire alarm system according to the invention is characterized in that each or almost every detector point is equipped with a fire detector with an associated activity sensor and is networked in the installation of the fire alarm system.
- the fire detection is supplemented by an integrated activity detection, which can be used both for the adaptive adaptation of the detection sensitivity of the fire detectors as well as for the central display of movement activities and thus the whereabouts of people in a building.
- the former has the advantage that in rooms in which persons are active, the detection sensitivity of the fire alarm system and thus the likelihood of false alarms is reduced.
- the central indication of movement activities has the advantage that in case of fire, the task forces not only know where it is burning in a building, but also that they are oriented towards the real endangerment of the persons (and animals) in the building.
- a fourth preferred embodiment of the fire alarm system according to the invention is characterized in that the local adaptive adaptation of the fire alarm system takes place by adjusting the detection threshold of the relevant fire alarm.
- the invention further relates to fire detectors for said fire alarm system. These are characterized in that the activity sensor is integrated into the fire detector or coupled to this.
- a first preferred embodiment of the inventive fire detector is characterized in that the activity sensor is formed by a passive infrared detector.
- a second preferred embodiment of the fire detector according to the invention is characterized in that the activity sensor is formed by an ultrasonic detector.
- fire sensors all common types, such as optical sensors, temperature sensors, fire gas sensors and combinations of these sensors can be used.
- a further preferred embodiment of the inventive fire detector is characterized by a domed trained housing with a directed against the space to be monitored dome on which the electro-optical part of the passive infrared detector is placed.
- said electro-optical portion of the passive infrared detector includes a dome lens and a pyrosensor.
- Fig. 1 shows a connected to the detector bus 1 a fire detection system fire detector 2, which has a fire sensor 3 for a fire characteristic, a transmitter 4 and an alarm display 5 substantially.
- the connected fire detectors with a central (not shown) are connected.
- a fire sensor 3 all known types, such as optical sensor for scattered light measurement (see EP-A-0 616 305 .
- EP-A-0 821 330 ) optical sensor for transmitted light measurement
- Temperature sensor eg NTC thermistor
- fire gas sensor any combination of these sensors
- the fire detector 2 is assigned an activity sensor 6. This is used to detect movements of persons in the vicinity of the fire detector 2 and is preferably formed by a passive infrared sensor or an ultrasonic sensor, as they are widely used in so-called motion detectors.
- the activity sensor 6 can be integrated in the fire detector 2, that is, installed in the housing, or arranged externally, but be coupled to the fire detector 2. In the case of an external arrangement, the activity sensor 6 can be connected either via the evaluation electronics 4 of the fire detector 2 or directly to the detector bus 1.
- the adaptive local adaptation of the fire alarm system to the movement activities in the room in question in the simplest case by adjusting the detection threshold of the fire sensor referred to below as a fire threshold, but the height of the most insensitive fire threshold must be limited.
- This least sensitive fire threshold may be, for example, the sensitivity given by the EN54 standard. If the movement activity in the vicinity of the fire detector 2 falls below an adjustable first activity threshold for a certain time, for example 15 to 30 minutes, the sensitivity of the fire sensor is increased and, accordingly, the fire threshold is lowered, this increase being defined by a special parameter set. Eventually, this increase in sensitivity may also be gradual depending on the duration of the low activity of movement.
- the fire threshold is increased and, accordingly, the sensitivity of the fire sensor 3 is lowered.
- a first parameter set P 1 with a higher fire threshold for the state of higher movement activity and a second parameter set P 2 with a lower fire threshold for the state of lesser movement activity are included in the fire threshold.
- the size of the signal of the fire sensor 3 can be taken into account in addition to the duration of the respective movement activity. If the movement activity falls below the said first activity threshold and the signal of the fire sensor 3 is below the lower fire threshold corresponding to the parameter set P 2 , it is possible to switch immediately to P 2 , but at the latest after the stated period of time. Analogously, sensitivity can be reduced immediately with increased movement activity (switching to P 1 ).
- a combined fire / activity detector which consists of a fire detector 2 with integrated activity sensor 6.
- the fire detector 2 is for example a scattered light smoke detector in the EP-A-0 616 305 .
- EP-A-0 813 178 or EP-A-0 821 330 described Art with a housing which contains a fire sensor 3 forming the optical module and the transmitter 4.
- the housing is arched and provided in the region of its summit with smoke inlet openings 7, through which passes the smoke to be examined air to the optical module.
- the activity sensor 6 is, for example, a thimble-shaped passive infrared sensor of the type of sensors of the NaPiOn series from Matsushita.
- a thimble-shaped passive infrared sensor of the type of sensors of the NaPiOn series from Matsushita.
- the outputs of the pyrosensor 9 are led to the transmitter 4, in which the signal processing of both the fire sensor 3 and the activity sensor 6 takes place.

Description
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
Fig. 1 . -
- In
