Claims (35)

  1. Device for providing an electrical connection for a roller shutter box (7), which allows the electrical connection between, on the one hand, at least one cable (62) internal to the box and, on the other hand, at least one cable (75) external to the box, characterized in that it comprises:
    a cheek (20) which is intended to form a lateral wall of the roller shutter box (7) and is provided with at least one through hole (72), or a hole intended to become a through hole, so as to allow the end of the external cable (75) to pass inside the box,
    a cap (51) which can move with respect to the cheek,
    connecting means (60, 65) for fastening the cap (51) to the internal face of the cheek in such a way that, once it has been mounted on the cheek, the cap (51) defines with the internal face of the cheek (20) an internal electrical connection case provided with at least one through hole for the passage of an end part of the internal cable (62).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the through hole of the electrical connection case formed by the cheek (20) and the cap (51) is delimited both by the internal face of the cheek and by the cap.
  3. Device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the cap (51) is fastened to the internal face of the cheek (20), and in that the device comprises a cable (62) which is passed through the through hole delimited by the cap (51) and the internal face of the cheek (20) and which is fastened to the internal face of the cheek (20) by clamping by means of the cap (51).
  4. Device according to Claim 2 or 3, characterized in that the cap (51) comprises an end wall (52) and a skirt (53), and in that the free edge of the skirt (53) is provided with at least one groove (61) for the passage of the internal cable (62).
  5. Device according to any one of Claims 2 to 4, characterized in that the region (70) of the internal face of the cheek (20) that serves as a base for the electrical connection case once the cap (51) has been fastened to the cheek is set back so as to form a hollow, and in that at least one groove (76) for the passage of the internal cable (62) is formed in the edge (71) of this hollow.
  6. Connection device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the through hole (72), or hole intended to be made into a through hole, passing through the cheek (20) so as to allow the passage of the external cable (75) is formed in the region (70) of the cheek corresponding to the location of the cap (51) in such a way that, once the cap (51) has been fastened to the cheek, the said hole (72) opens out directly inside the electrical connection case formed by the cap and the internal face of the cheek.
  7. Connection device according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the cap (51) is attached to the main wall (21) of the cheek (20).
  8. Connection device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the cap (51) is removable with respect to the main wall (21) of the cheek (20).
  9. Connection device according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the connecting means are selected from the group consisting of screwing, riveting, stapling, adhesive bonding, welding, snap-fastening and force-fitting.
  10. Connection device according to any one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the cap (51) comprises an end wall (52), a skirt (53) and a pillar (54) provided with an axial through hole (55) extending perpendicular to the end wall (52).
  11. Connection device according to Claim 10, characterized in that the pillar (54) comprises a substantially planar free end part (56) perpendicular to the axis (57) of the axial through hole (55), this free end part (56) being arranged set back, towards the inside of the cap (51), with respect to the free edge (58) of the skirt (53).
  12. Connection device according to either one of Claims 10 and 11, characterized in that, in its free end part, the skirt (53) of the cap (51) has an external thinned portion defining a shoulder (59) which is substantially perpendicular to the axis (57) of the axial through hole (55).
  13. Connection device according to any one of Claims 10 to 12, characterized in that the end of the skirt (53) is tapered in such a way that the cap (51) can be placed in an indentation (60) made in the internal face of the main wall (21) of the cheek (20).
  14. Connection device according to any one of Claims 10 to 13, characterized in that the cap (51) has on its free edge at least one groove (61) capable of allowing the passage of an end part of the portion of cable (62) internal to the box (7).
  15. Connection device according to any one of Claims 10 to 14, characterized in that the main wall (21) of the cheek (20) is provided with a peg (65) which projects perpendicularly to the end wall (70) of the connection case (50), this peg (65) being provided with a blind hole (66) which is arranged in alignment with the axial through hole (55) of the cap (51) when this cap (51) is assembled on the cheek (20).
  16. Connection device according to Claim 15, characterized in that the peg (65) has a frustoconical external shell which widens out in the direction of the main wall (21) of the cheek (20), the pillar (54) of the cap (51) being frustoconical and widening out in the direction of the end wall (52) of this cap (51).
  17. Connection device according to either one of Claims 15 to 16, characterized in that the cap (51) is a component which, apart from the groove (61), is a body of revolution about the axis (57) of its axial through hole (55), the peg (65) likewise being a component in the form of a body of revolution about the axis (67) of its blind hole (66).
  18. Connect ion device according to any one of Claims 14 to 17, characterized in that, beyond the groove (61), the internal face of the cheek (20) lies in a plane which is offset with respect to the end wall (70) of the connection case (50), the edge (71) of the end wall of the connection case (50) forming a bearing surface for the shoulder (59) of the cap (51).
  19. Connection device according to any one of Claims 1 to 18, characterized in that the through hole (72), or hole intended to be made into a through hole, in the cheek (20) is defined by a projecting tube (73) with a frustoconical internal wall (74) which widens out from the internal face towards the external face of the cheek (20).
  20. Connection device according to any one of Claims 1 to 19, characterized in that the main wall (21) of the cheek (20) comprises a transverse part (23) and a longitudinally bearing wall (29) extending over the lateral edge of the main wall (21).
  21. Connection device according to Claims 19 and 20, characterized in that a guide wall (30) connects the longitudinally bearing wall (29) and the transverse part (23) of the cheek (20), the length of the projecting tube (23) being slightly less than the width of the guide wall (30).
  22. Connection device according to Claim 21, characterized in that the cheek (20) additionally comprises a lower heel (22) and a curved upper tab (32) extending the guide wall (30).
  23. Device according to any one of Claims 20 to 22, characterized in that the external face of the transverse part (22) of the cheek (20), that is to say the face directed away from the internal volume of the box (7) on which the cheek (20) is capable of being mounted, is provided with projections (27, 28).
  24. Device according to any one of Claims 20 to 23, characterized in that the cheek (20) is provided with two through holes (72), or holes intended to be made into through holes, each of these two holes opening out through an end wall (70) of a connection case (50), which wall is provided with means for connecting with a cap, it thus being possible for two connection cases (50) to be defined on the said cheek (20).
  25. Device according to any one of Claims 20 to 24, characterized in that the main part (21) of the cheek (20) is provided with a central region (24) forming a support for the axle (25) of the roller shutter winding drum (1).
  26. Device according to any one of Claims 20 to 25, characterized in that the cheek (20) is provided with an overall plane of symmetry (S) substantially perpendicular to the transverse part (23).
  27. Roller shutter box, characterized in that it comprises at least one connection device as presented in any one of Claims 1 to 26, a tubular body and an underside which is provided with a passage opening for the roller shutter apron (2).
  28. Roller shutter box, characterized in that it comprises at least one connection device as presented in any one of Claims 22 to 27, and in that it additionally comprises a component in the general shape of a gutter (9) having a U-shaped profile in cross section, this U-shaped profile opening out onto the two lateral faces (13, 14) of this gutter (9), the internal face (31) of the guide wall (30) of the cheek (20) being homothetic to the internal face (15) of the gutter (9) and being intended to come opposite and bear at least partially against the internal face (15) of the gutter (9) when the cheek (20) is in place on the gutter (9).
  29. Box according to Claim 28, characterized in that the curved tab (32) of the cheek (20) is capable of coming opposite and bearing at least partially against the upper part of the internal face (15) of the gutter (9) when the cheek (20) is placed on this gutter (9).
  30. Box according to either one of Claims 28 and 29, characterized in that the lower heel (22) of the cheek (20) is provided with lateral edges (33, 34) capable of being housed in complementary rails (35, 36) with which the gutter (9) is provided.
  31. Box according to Claim 30, characterized in that the gutter (9) is made of a material selected from the group consisting of terracottas, concretes, polymer materials and metal alloys.
  32. Box according to Claim 31, characterized in that the gutter (9) is made of expanded polystyrene.
  33. Box according to any one of Claims 27 to 32, characterized in that the cheek (20) of the connection device is built of polymer material.
  34. Roller shutter comprising at least one box as presented in any one of Claims 27 to 33, characterized in that it comprises an electrically operated drive element connected to the said portion of cable (62) internal to the box (7), the connections, inside the connection case (50), between this portion of cable (62) internal to the box (7) and an end part of the cable (75) external to the box (7) making it possible to control the winding and unwinding of the roller shutter apron (2) around a drum (1).
  35. Roller shutter according to Claim 34, characterized in that at least the inner cable (62) is fastened to the internal face of the cheek (20) of the connection device (50) by clamping by means of the cap (51).
