- Frame (1) for a window, door or facade element with an insert protrusion for use in facades, wherein:a) the frame (1) is constructed as an insert profile member with in each instance at least one metallic inner profile member (3) and a metallic outer profile member (5), which are connected together by at least two insulating strips (7, 9), wherein at least one of the insulating strips (9) forms a part of the insert protrusion (43) of the frame;b) the frame (1) preferably co-operates with a casement frame (13) with in each instance at least one metallic inner profile member (15) and a metallic outer profile member (17), which are connected together by means of at least one further insulating strip (19),
characterised in thatc) the fastening and foot regions (47, 49) of the insulating strip (9) of the insert protrusion (43) of the frame (1) are arranged offset relative to one another at the inner and outer profile members (3, 5) of the frame (1) andd) a single limb (45) is mounted at the inner or outer profile member and completely covers one side of this insulating strip (9). - Frame for a window, door or facade element according to claim 1, characterised in that the insulating strip (9) forms in the region of the insert protrusion (43) the outer wall, which lies towards the inner side of the window, door or facade element, of the frame.
- Frame for a window, door or facade element according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the insulating strip (9) of the insert protrusion has hollow cavities (51).
- Frame for a window, door or facade element according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the hollow cavities (51) of the insulating strip has one or more reinforcing webs (53).
- Frame for a window, door or facade element according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the insulating strip of the insert protrusion has the following construction:a first base web (55), at which the foot region (47) for the inner profile member is integrally formed;a second base web (57), which lies parallel to the first base web and at which a foot region (49) to the outer profile member (5) is integrally formed;at least two transverse webs (59) which extends substantially perpendicularly to the base web and which connect the first and second base webs together.
- Frame for a window, door or facade element according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the insulating strip (9) is supported at the outer profile member by means of a support nose (51) and is arranged laterally offset relative to the foot region (49) of the insulating strip at the outer profile member (5).
- Frame for a window, door or facade element according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the limb (45) of the outer profile member (5) forms the wall, which faces towards the element outer side, of the insert protrusion (43).
