Definitions
- the present invention relates to a multi-layer label for attaching information on primary or secondary packaging opposite the packaging area
- Enlarged labeling area consisting of a flat base element which is used to fix the label on the packaging to be labeled suitable, or that is itself part of the packaging, one or more sheet-like Information carriers, which are hingedly attached to the base element, and one Activatable and deactivable guard locking, which is an unintentional opening or Prevents the label from peeling off, and, if necessary, components that cause a Allow the packaging to be closed securely.
- a device is known from CA-A-2216094 which permits information dispense medication to certain people and for specific purposes.
- the Device that can be attached to the medication package consists of several information sheets that can be separated at their edges using adhesive surfaces joined together to form a strip and then zigzag to a stack are merged. The individual information sheets are off the stack separated and distributed as intended. This device therefore does not provide a label for safe, permanent labeling of the package contents.
- EP-B-0 463 193 proposes to solve this problem Labeling of a packaging, for example a cylindrical bottle to use strip-shaped self-adhesive label coated on the back with adhesive, whose length is greater than the circumference of the bottle, the overlapping part of the Strip is formed as a detachable section.
- the Label strips On the front is the Label strips in the overlap area with an adhesive-repellent smooth layer Mistake. If the label is stuck around the bottle, the removable one comes Section to lie on the smooth layer. He can therefore together with his peeled back layer of adhesive from the bottle, and onto another An object, such as a syringe that has been drawn out of the bottle, be stuck on.
- the multi-part label according to the invention described in the following sections meets these needs. It is technically simple and inexpensive producible, creates a firmly connected or firmly connected with the packaging Information area available that is a multiple of the area that is on the Packaging itself is available and it therefore bears both EC directives as well national requirements bill. It therefore offers a safe solution to the problem, well readable information in a clear arrangement, with clear linguistic, country-specific and classifying structure to the user, consumer or Submit users.
- the multi-layer labels according to the invention can be in the range of Pharmaceutical and chemical industries for the packaging of medical products such as Example pellets, capsules, ampoules, vials and pre-filled syringes, or from Plant protection agents such as insect repellent strips, fertilizers in pellets - or Tablet form for simple and safe dosing, in the cosmetics sector e.g. For Denture cleaner tablets, in the food industry e.g. for food supplements such as vitamin preparations and drinking ampoules, in the metal industry, in tools - and Mechanical engineering and the automotive industry for small and spare parts in the Household industry e.g. for detergent and dishwasher tabs, as well as in all other areas where a multi-layer label according to the invention Comprehensive, clear, undeliverable information document on a primary or Secondary packaging is to be applied, used with particular advantage become.
- Plant protection agents such as insect repellent strips, fertilizers in pellets - or Tablet form for simple and safe dosing
- the cosmetics sector e.g.
- Denture cleaner tablets in the food
- FIG. 1a also shows the preferred embodiments of the fields according to the invention, if desired, present fields (6) on which Label numbers and / or other essential information, e.g. on the Package contents and / or safety instructions can be specified.
- the figure la also shows a fastener, here symbolized by the Adhesive coating (7) with which the base element is attached to the packaging (2) can.
- Figure la also illustrates this with the downward arrows Place and attach the label (1) on the packaging (2).
- FIG lb shows an oblique view without a scale one with a Label (1) according to the invention with base element (3) and information carriers (4) provided folding box packaging (2) with the packaging jacket (8) and Closing flap (9), whereby the inserted under the packaging jacket is not visible parts of the closing flap are shown in dashed lines, as well as in exaggerated Representation of the functional necessary in the packaging Slot opening (10) into the insertion end 12 of the top information carrier attached tumbler extension (11a) can be inserted.
- the figure shows furthermore, also in dashed lines, the trapezoidal box elements (13), which are bent inwards before the closing flap is inserted and the if necessary with non-obligatory incisions in the side of the closing flap and / or the tumbler extension (25) interacting an additional securing against unintentional opening of the packaging and / or the locking of the label cause.
- the base element is a cut from one of the suitable ones described below sheet-like materials. Orientate the area size and shape of the base element the dimensions of those available on the packaging for which Attach the label to suitable surfaces. Unless it is from below Desired special reasons is desired that the base element on one or two packaging edges have an overhang (compare e.g. Figures 3a, 3b 13a, 13b 14 and 15, No. 20), it is preferably dimensioned so that it is attached to the provided surface does not protrude, but flush with the edges of the packaging closes or covers only part of the area. Although a maximum of adhesive force can be obtained if the label covers an entire area of the packaging, especially covering the largest area, there may be special conditions among which partial coverage is sufficient or preferred. For example a packaging area should only be sufficiently level in some areas Base element to fix, or a partial area must be kept clear because it is for the purpose the removal of the package contents must remain accessible.
- This adhesive is selected according to the requirements of Practice, for example the required strength of the adhesive connection, the Long-term stability, the tolerable manufacturing costs for the label and the Handling options for users and packaging designs.
- the adhesive can be attached to the adhesive side of the base element or the Fixing the base element on the packaging can be done with separate commercially available Fasteners or with fasteners integrated in the packaging respectively.
- Fasteners that are part of the packaging are in the form of grooves into which a rigid base element is inserted can be elastic anchors that are in openings of the base member intervene and snap or it can be applied to a packing surface Adhesive layer e.g. be a contact adhesive layer.
- Adhesive layer e.g. be a contact adhesive layer.
- an adhesive that is part of the labels according to the invention are, for example, also elastic, hook-shaped anchors that snap into openings in the packaging, or a Adhesive layer into consideration.
- the base element is preferably partially or fully covered on the adhesive side provided with an adhesive layer that can be used to securely fix the label on the labeling packaging.
- Suitable adhesives are those which can only be used after pretreatment, e.g. to Moistening with a liquid, water or a solvent, their adhesive power unfold, or even those that are readily pretreated on a possibly appropriate Stick to the surface of the packaging. Solvent-based or also come as an adhesive solvent-free adhesive. Adhesive layers that adhere directly to the Hereinafter referred to as contact adhesive layer, it is expedient to use a peelable protective film to prevent accidental sticking of the label with devices and other objects to avoid.
- the information carriers can either be attached to an edge of the base element be, as shown in Figure 1, or on a designated Area of the base element, the attachment area. With the latter
- the type of attachment is the side of the base element opposite the adhesive side in one or, as shown in FIG. 2, two information areas (14, 14 ') for receiving Information and an attachment area (15) for attaching the Split information carriers.
- Figure 2 illustrates schematically in side view in the form of a Exploded view of a multi-part label according to the invention with this structure.
- the base element (3) with its information areas (14, 14 ') and its Fastening area (15) is a group of 3 information carriers (4) two information areas (16 and 16 ') and one in between Have fastening area (17).
- Information carriers and basic elements are like this centered to each other that when lowering the information carrier Fastening areas of the base element and the information carrier towards each other come lie and be fixed in this position by the bracket (18) on each other can.
- the figure also shows, symbolized by the small circles (19), the possibly arranged between the information area and the attachment area flexible zones, which then simply open (open) the Enable information carriers if the information carriers do not come from one sufficiently flexible material, e.g. Paper, fleece or foil exist.
- Figure 2 attached to the tumbler extensions (11b) and (11b ') Adhesive elements (5b) and (5b '), and those interacting with them, on the top information carrier fixed conjugated adhesive elements (5a) and (5a ').
- the mounting area (15) of the base element takes a relatively narrow Section of the base element surface, which is expediently parallel to an edge, preferably a short edge of the base element.
- the fastening area lies at one end of the base element.
- the size and shape of the Basic element of the size and shape of the packaging area to be labeled correspond, but it is sometimes more advantageous to deviate from it. So it can be from Be an advantage if the base element is the packaging surface to which it is to be fixed, protrudes on one or two edges, forming one or two overhang surfaces (20). On such overhang - in the following description also as “basic element overhang” or referred to as a “base overhang” - can, as detailed below and e.g. in the Figures 3a, 3b, 13a, 13b, 14 and 15 illustrates, for a special design of the inventive label or for attaching the information carrier to the Base element can be an advantage.
- FIG. 3a illustrates, also according to Art an exploded view, schematically in side view and without a scale Packaging (2) on which the base element (3) of the inventive label is placed and fixed, which over the surface of the Packaging overhang (20).
- the mounting surface (15) of the The basic element lies here on the overhang (20).
- the size of the base element shown is not mandatory. It could also be be smaller than the packaging area as long as its area is sufficient for the required information and the label on the package to convey a secure hold.
- the information carriers (4) shown above the base element are positioned that when lowering in the direction of the arrow with its mounting surfaces (17) hit the mounting surface (15) and there with the help of a fastener in the Figure 3a symbolized by the bracket 18 to be attached to the base element can.
- 3a also shows the information areas (16) of the information carriers shown. Between these and the mounting surfaces (17) are - at Appropriate use of a relatively rigid information carrier material - linear flexible zones, symbolized by the small circles (19) enable the information carriers to be opened.
- Figure 3b illustrates this by assembling and connecting the in the Figure 3a shown information carrier (4) with the base elements (3) emerging inventive label (1) and the arrows here show the placement of the label (1) on the packaging (2).
- FIGS. 3a and 3b also show the uppermost information carrier and tumbler extensions 11a and 11b starting from the base element, on which the interacting adhesive elements 5a and 5b are attached.
- the base element can also be part of the packaging itself.
- a Surface of the packaging is the basic element.
- This packaging surface is, as above for a separate basic element described in an information area and in a Fastening area divided for fastening the information carrier.
- the information area can be, for example, as a writable printable or magnetizable or optoelectronically readable surface for which Be prepared to take appropriate information, or he can use a glue-friendly surface can be equipped to attach a self-adhesive, the label containing the information.
- he can also use a film-protected adhesive layer may be provided, which allows any information-bearing labels that have no rubber coating and no contact adhesive have to attach to the information area of the packaging.
- the as Fastening area provided part of the packaging material can, as above described, by an adhesive coating for sticking one or a stack be prepared by information carriers.
- the others described above Types of fastening for the information carrier stack, such as rivets, staples or sewing are workable.
- the tensile strength, in particular the tear, tear and tear resistance e.g. by resin application or backing with nonwovens, foils or cardboard, to increase the strength of the Increase connection of the mounting area with the information carrier package.
- Figure 4 shows a blank of packaging material before folding and gluing, on which a surface is provided as the base element (3a), which in one Information area (14) for the inclusion of the basic and / or Security information and in a fastening area (15) for fastening the Information carrier is divided. Is within the information area if desired, a field (6) with particularly important data, such as one Label number.
- the hinged (articulated) information carriers are on the base element flat blanks, the surface of which is intended to hold the information in Shape and size expediently the dimensions of the label Packaging area, and thus usually corresponds to that of the base element. If the information carrier (4) is not attached to an edge of the base element (3) In addition to the information area, they are shown in FIGS. 2, 3a, 3b and 4 designated by the number (16), an attachment area designated by the number (17) between, if necessary - i.e. provided the material of the information carrier does not itself have sufficient flexibility to open the label - one flexible connection (19) symbolized by small circles.
- the information surfaces of the information carriers can, if desired, for example by generating writable, printable, reflective or magnetizable or otherwise for storage and / or visualization of Data suitable surfaces, for the inclusion of corresponding ones, too Optoelectronic, information can be prepared, or they can be attached a label containing the information is prepared. Finally, you can they may also be provided with a possibly film-protected adhesive layer, which it allowed any information-bearing labels that have no rubber coating and no Have contact adhesive on the information surfaces of the information carrier too fasten.
- the surfaces of the basic elements for information acquisition can also be used to get prepared.
- connection between the base element and the information carriers can be done in different ways. So it is possible to attach the mounting surfaces Information carrier with the mounting surface of the base element by any known, effective between them fastener - in Figures 2, 3a and 3b symbolized by the bracket (18) - rigidly connect and the information areas of the To fold information carriers on their mounting surfaces.
- the N Information carrier as a stack with superimposed mounting surfaces on the Fixing area of the base element fixed.
- N 5 to 30.
- space requirements can also be smaller or larger.
- the variety of information areas can also be zigzag-shaped folded strips of the information carrier material are formed.
- the zigzag folded strip can be originally from the base element be separate strips of material with one end in the fastening area of the Base element is attached. But it can also be a folded back, strip-shaped Extension of the base element itself. Even with this construction of the Information carrier package can be the basic element on the side on which the Information carrier strip is located over the surface of the packaging material around the Thickness of the packaging should be extended so that the folded one if necessary Information carrier strips on the side of the base element opposite Packaging can be bent back.
- the specification that the information carriers are attached to the base element also includes those stacked information carriers in which only the lowest information carrier directly bound to the basic element all overlying indirectly via the intermediate information carrier layers are attached to the base element. It also includes those in Figures 13a and 13b illustrated embodiment of the label according to the invention, in the middle folded information carrier strips in the manner of a booklet on an overhang of the base element are attached. The information carrier stack then results from the superimposed, centrally folded information carrier strips.
- the attachment between the mounting surfaces of the information carrier and the Fastening area of the base element can be known with all Fasteners are made.
- known mechanical Fasteners can be used with one or more clips or rivets the fastening surfaces of the stacked information carriers to one another and to the Base element are attached.
- Another preferred type of mechanical attachment can be done by sewing, using monofilament or multifilament threads or also Metal wires can serve as sutures.
- Fastening means to use an adhesive, preferably a contact adhesive which the fastening surfaces of the stacked information carriers to each other and to the Base element are glued.
- particularly advantageous Information carrier on provide the mounting surface with a, if applicable, foil-protected adhesive spread are.
- such a Material advantages in the production of a stack of information carriers on the Offer mounting area of the base element are made.
- the free edges of the mounting surfaces can be glued together glued to additionally, e.g. for stapling, to provide higher strength and to minimize the peeling of the fastening area.
- the foldable fastening of the is particularly expedient, uncomplicated and advantageous Information carrier on an edge of the base element or an edge of an overhang of the Base element.
- the attachment to the edge is advantageously carried out in the form that the first, lowest information carrier (4) directly on the base element (3) or an overhang of the base element, each further information carrier (4) lying above it then hinged to the previous one.
- This can be explained in two in FIGS 6 illustrated types can be achieved:
- the higher information carriers can be attached to the edge of the information carrier underneath with which this is attached to its predecessor or to the base element ( Figure 5) or the higher information carriers can each on the free edge of the predecessor be attached ( Figure 6).
- the foldable, flexible attachment is shown in FIGS and 6 symbolized by the circles (19).
- FIGS. 5 and 6 The type of fastening illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6 is most easily realized by cutting out the base element and the information carrier from a coherent strip of a suitable sheet-like material of sufficient strength, on the appropriately also possibly desired tumbler extensions (11a, 11b) and (11 'a , 11'b) can be cut and provided with adhesive elements (5a, 5b) and (5'a, 5'b).
- the width of the strip essentially corresponds to the width of the packaging Length is expediently a whole even multiple of the packaging length and if desired a length surcharge in the size of the package thickness.
- Figures 7a, 7b and 7c illustrate such a strip and that described below Treatment of the strip.
- the strip is transverse on a line to the longitudinal direction - in Figures 7a, 7b and 7c by the dashed line (21a) shown - flexibilized by suitable measures, so that he is in this line against the Base element can be folded.
- dashed line 21a
- a zigzag folding of the information carrier stack according to FIG. 6 is provided is the tumbler elements 11'a and 11'b from the surfaces of the top or second uppermost and the bottom information carrier of the stack, such as it has been illustrated in Figure 7b.
- a crease line (21a) or (21b) is a cut along the circumference of a Area element (11'b) or (11'a) corresponding size in the area of Information carrier carried out at a point spaced from the starting point on or ends near said crease line.
- This section is shown in FIG solid lines delimiting the surface elements 11'a and 11'b illustrated. This measure produces material tongues that are made up of let the surface of the information carrier fold out.
- tongues form the Tumbler extensions 11'a and 11'b which are then conjugated, cooperating Adhesive elements 5'a and 5'b are provided.
- the tongue-shaped tumbler extension 11'b can also be formed from the base element can and that the tongue-shaped tumbler extensions 11'a and 11'b also separately produced and on the undamaged information carriers or the base element attached, e.g. can be glued.
- the information carrier surfaces can then be zigzag-folded into one Information carrier stack are merged, taking the embodiment of the Figure 6 receives, and if desired, two successive Information carrier sections of the zigzag folded strip - starting with the 2nd and 3rd section - are glued to the facing surfaces, whereby the embodiment of Figure 5 is obtained.
- the embodiment of Figure 5 is particularly handy and by laminating two layers of material on top of each other also particularly robust. You have between the base element and the first Information carrier area a section in the length of the packaging thickness switched on, you can put the information carrier stack on the side that the Fastening side of the base element is opposite (analogous to the illustration in Figure 14).
- the basic element and the information carrier can be the same or different known sheet-like materials exist.
- the selection of the Materials depends on the functions of the components of the label and according to the required mechanical strength e.g. the required Tear resistance and aging resistance.
- a special requirement for the material of the The basic element is that it is used to produce firm and permanent adhesive bonds suitable with packaging materials, but also in the information area for Labeling or for other information storage, e.g. by pressure, Embossing, punching, baking, magnetizing or optoelectronic writing, is preferably suitable for printing or pasting with labeled labels.
- This also has to be one allow proper attachment of its mounting surface to the base element, on the other hand, a simple permanent storage of information, e.g. one extensive labeling, suitable on both sides of the information area.
- the materials should allow easy manufacture and the Material price should not be prohibitive.
- Materials from which the basic elements and the information carriers can be made are for example paper, cardboard, especially those with synthetic resin or Long fiber reinforcement, nonwoven, in particular resin-bonded or oxy-bonded Spunbonded plastic film, metal film or composite materials made of two or more of these materials.
- the basic element and / or the information carriers consist of a single layer Material, sometimes not all requirements e.g. regarding stability Information storage capacity can be met to the maximum extent but it is a A compromise between the individual requirements is required. Nevertheless, it is in the Usually possible, the requirements that are reasonable for an inventive Label can also be made with a single layer material.
- the base element and / or the Information carriers consist of a multilayer material. So for Example by combining different materials for a base course, a Storage layer, e.g. a magnetic or electro-optical storage medium for one Adhesive layer and / or a protective layer have special advantages for production and Application of the labels can be achieved.
- a Storage layer e.g. a magnetic or electro-optical storage medium for one Adhesive layer and / or a protective layer have special advantages for production and Application of the labels can be achieved.
- An example is an information carrier consisting of one with one peelable protective film covered on one side or double-sided self-adhesive Material.
- An essential feature of the labels according to the invention is that the information carriers are hingedly attached to the base element. Unless the attachment as above and others described, via a flexible connection of an edge of the Information carrier with an edge of the base element or an edge of the previous information carrier, or by eyelets or spirals that into a intervene in the corresponding perforation of the fastening area of the information carriers, is accomplished, is between the mounting surface and the information surface Information carriers require a connection that the scrolling of the Enables information carriers, i.e. which allows an arbitrarily small angle between the two surfaces. This change in angle should be within one as short a route as possible so that the entire information area of the Information carrier can be viewed when opening, so that the information can be read without difficulty.
- the information carrier consists of such a flexible material as e.g. Paper or Non-woven fabric that leaves the stack of information carriers like a book without Difficulties may arise.
- a narrow area between the The mounting surface and the information surface of the information carrier are then formed effortlessly reveals a more or less sharp bend or crease when opening, which allows you to see the entire information area.
- Special measures, which is the setting of an angle required for unimpeded scrolling allow between the attachment and the information area in this case not mandatory.
- the information carriers consist of an information carrier stack Materials that are inherently less flexible, such as Cardboards or resin-reinforced papers, such a simple construction is no longer possible because trying to open the stack of information media is too large Radius of curvature in the information surfaces that reads the Very difficult or impossible information, or cracks or breaks in the information carriers that also lead to a loss of important Information. Therefore, constructive measures are to be taken in this case through which it becomes possible, despite the stiffness of the material, for the Open the required angle between the mounting and information areas adjust the information carrier, the curvature of the material on a as short as possible, strip-shaped section between fastening and Information area should take place.
- the flexible connection between the information carrier and its mounting surface by fibers that are between the information carrier and extend the mounting surface and are firmly integrated into it become.
- These can be fibers of the fiber material from which the information carrier is produced or it can be reinforcing fibers, at least in the area of Kink line are permanently worked into the sheet-like material.
- the flexible Connection by a fatigue-free foldable line between the sections of the Information carrier are formed.
- a pre-planned crease can a deliberate change of the limited to the narrow kink area Material structure that leads to an increase in flexibility can be achieved.
- the fold line can be bent by repeatedly bending the material on the planned line.
- the targeted increase in flexibility can also be achieved through an example linear reduction in material thickness created by scoring or by a perforation-reduced reduction on the fold line Material mass can be realized.
- the information carrier consists of two or more layers of different Flexibility, so the layers can provide less flexibility at the intended Kink line between the mounting and information surface of the information carrier slotted or perforated.
- a guard locking can be used in manufacturing variants A and B of the invention
- Labels can be realized in very different ways.
- tumbler element As a generic term for everyone Components of the label according to the invention which are used for the tumbler are described below the term "tumbler element" is used.
- a simple tumbler can, for example, consist of one reversibly stretchable, two points of two different edges of the Base element attached thread or band (e.g. rubber band) that over the Information carrier stack or pulled over a corner of the information stack can. There can also be two such simple tumblers on adjacent corners of the Stack are provided.
- either the base element or from one of the lowest, preferably from the lowest, information carrier of the Stack at at least one point of an edge spaced from the fastening area, preferably on the edge opposite the fastening area, a flexible one Extension (tumbler extension) made by bending with the top one Information carrier or with an appropriately positioned extension of the same can overlap. They are in the overlap area overlapping parts are designed so that they interact in a tumbler form. Tumbler extensions can be retrofitted to pre-made information carriers and base elements are attached. Conveniently, however, they will Cutting the information carrier with cut.
- Such a tumbler can be designed purely mechanically.
- one the tumbler elements as a flap, button or in any other way as a male part a plug-in connection, which fits into an opening, e.g. a slot or a part of the connector which is otherwise designed as a female part of a plug connection other tumbler element can be inserted, during the insertion the elements of the connector, a more or less strong elastic be subjected to reversible deformation that occurs after complete Unites the elements and thus a firm but detachable connection manufactures.
- the tumbler elements can also have adhesive surfaces, at least in the overlap area wear that interactively create a firm but detachable connection and so are positioned so that they come to rest on each other when the base element or one of the lower information carriers outgoing flexible extension with the top information carrier or its extension is brought into contact.
- Suitable pairs of adhesive surfaces are combined, for example, a contact adhesive surface with an adhesive-repellent smooth layer surface or the elements of a Velcro fastener, namely one with a hook and one with a loop Area.
- adhesive repellent or “adhesive repellent” is used here Material referred to, on which an adhesive layer adheres, but the adhesive connection can be separated again without significant damage to the layers, whereby a separating force within a predetermined range is to be applied.
- smooth layers such as e.g. a silicone layer.
- the closure by a contact adhesive surface in cooperation with a adhesive-repellent surface, it is expedient to use the base element or a the lower, preferably the lowest, information carrier and possibly also an extension on one of the uppermost, preferably the uppermost, information carriers to provide. That of the basic element or one of the lower information carriers outgoing extension is so long that, bent upwards with one of the upper, preferably the top one, information carrier or with a downward bent The process of the same overlaps. In the overlap area, one of the overlapping Elements on the surface in contact with the other element with a Apply adhesive layer, the other element is in the appropriate place with equipped with an adhesive-repellent smooth surface. For reversible closing the closure elements are bent together, in contact on the functional surfaces brought and compressed.
- This embodiment allows two ways of closing the label: Goes the extension from the base element, so when closing the entire information carrier stack firmly fixed on the packaging. the continuation goes from one of the lower, preferably from the lowest, information carrier, so can opened the closure of the lock of the information carrier stack as a package be so that the base element is accessible.
- Manufacturing-friendly embodiment can be a starting from the base element Closure extension can be realized as follows:
- FIG. 8a illustrates schematically without a top view from obliquely below The scale of such an embodiment of the multi-part label according to the invention.
- FIG. 8b shows a top view diagonally from below, schematically without a scale a closable embodiment of the label according to the invention, in which the Guard locking extension (11b) not from the base element but from the lowest information carrier (4 ') goes out.
- the variant B of the tumbler has the advantage that the label itself is only one Tumbler element must have and that the activation of the tumbler under With the help of an existing one on the packaging Design feature can be done.
- the packaging must be compared to one packaging not labeled according to the invention cannot be changed in any way.
- the uppermost or one of the upper information carriers has a tumbler extension with an insertion end (12) which in the between the closing flap (9) and the Sheath (8) of a packaging existing gap opening (10) can be inserted.
- FIG. 9 shows a schematic illustration of a scale Cut through a folding box packaging (2) on the slot (10) adjacent surface is provided with a type B label according to the invention.
- the extension (11) is shorter by the packaging thickness than in FIG. 1b shown.
- a not too short one Insert end (12) of the tumbler extension (11) an excellent backup of the Represents labels against unintentional opening.
- the tumbler extension (11) on the sides with short incisions - in the figure 1b with the number 25 - be provided, as from the locking tabs Usual folding box packaging is known, which is behind the basic Snap in the side edges of the trapezoidal box elements (13).
- Information can, as shown in Figure 2, on the label according to the invention both on the free side, the information area (14) of the base element (3) as also on both sides of the information surfaces (16) of the information carriers (4) be attached.
- both on the base element and on the information carriers, in particular on the top of the uppermost information carrier a field (6) for a Label identification mark reserved. It is also possible on everyone Information media side to reserve a field for a label identification mark.
- the identification symbol can e.g. a letter and / or number combination or also a unique one, possibly also from Automat, be an identifiable icon or a barcode.
- Label identification marks indispensable basic and / or Security information, in particular identification information, about the Package contents attached in an easy-to-read world language.
- This indispensable basic information is preferably also displayed on the Top of the uppermost information carrier attached to the base element appropriate.
- All desired information can be found on the information areas of the multilayer labels according to the invention by writing, printing, embossing, Punching, or branding with plain text or in the form of digital-optical information, such as. Barcode, or also by magnetizing or electro-optical writing, e.g. by a laser, and / or the base element and the Information carriers can be stuck on the information areas with labels on which the mentioned information is recorded. Assign the information carriers foil-protected adhesive-coated information surfaces, so adhesive-free Labels are used, otherwise adhesive labels are used.
- the Information can also be stored magnetically. With a suitable selection of the Backing material can also be magnetic and printed at the same time The information is reproduced on the information carrier.
- the large amount of space on the label according to the invention makes it possible for everyone required and / or desired information sorted in the desired manner to lay down.
- FIG. 10 illustrates schematically without a scale in oblique supervision inventive label, the information carrier (4) on the front longitudinal edge Have registers (28).
- a label (27) is glued on which the information field (6) for essential information, e.g. a label number is reserved.
- an identical field (6) can also be found on the information area (14) of the base element (3).
- the Tumbler extension (11a) has an adhesive element, e.g. an adhesive layer, which e.g. With a smooth surface of the tumbler extension (11b) interacting and activatable deactivable tumbler results.
- FIG. 10 also shows a combination of Adhesive layers (7) and clips (18) through which the information carrier in Fastening area (17) can be fixed on the base element.
- Adhesive layers (7) and clips (18) through which the information carrier in Fastening area (17) can be fixed on the base element.
- fasteners including those shown in Figure 10 (7) and (18), individually or, if it is advantageous, in any combination with one another be used.
- the other edges, in particular the second longitudinal edge of the information carrier can have a register. This is particularly advantageous if, for example, the Front pages of the information carriers carry country-specific ordered information that Backs, however, have a factual sorting of this information. Man can then search country-specific in one register, subject-specific in the other. A Another way to search specifically for different criteria is to to provide a tab that is on the front and back according to the different sorts is printed differently.
- a register can also be obtained in that information carriers that different ordering features relate to a different length or width while all information carriers have the same ordering features concern, have substantially the same dimensions. The differences of Dimensions are chosen so that the resulting stages to accommodate the keywords or suffices are sufficient.
- the size of the information carrier permits, they can be combined into one Order feature, e.g. B. information medium belonging to a particular language be graduated in length again, or a register on another side carry so that within a stack of information carriers that a particular Are assigned to the classification feature, a further subdivision is made. Basically this subdivision process is to be continued until the size of the resulting levels are no longer sufficient, index information in recognizable form to record.
- Order feature e.g. B. information medium belonging to a particular language be graduated in length again, or a register on another side carry so that within a stack of information carriers that a particular Are assigned to the classification feature, a further subdivision is made. Basically this subdivision process is to be continued until the size of the resulting levels are no longer sufficient, index information in recognizable form to record.
- indexing does not necessarily have to be in plain text, but it does other indexing options can also be used, e.g. attaching a color code or the use of information carriers of different colors.
- search aids can also be applied to the information carrier stack such as colored edge markings together with one on the Cover sheet or the base element attached index or groove-shaped Edge cutouts in the stack, coming from above on one to a specific one
- the information carrier belonging to the keyword ends and the relevant keyword there reveal.
- FIG. 11 exemplarily shows an oblique exploded view Supervision without scale schematically another particularly useful Embodiment of the label according to the invention.
- This has on a partial surface (29) of the basic element (3), certain important variable data, e.g. Patient numbers, batch names, expiration dates and the like.
- FIG. 11 shows three information carrier stacks (4a, 4b, 4c), which due to different lengths when lowering in the direction of the arrow on the Base element result in a stack with a tab bar.
- Each of the three stacks contains Information in a language assigned to it.
- All information carriers have one window-shaped opening (30), which when stacked up to the base element continuous viewing window through which the data field (29) of the Basic element is visible.
- At least the top sheet of each of the three stacks faces near the window opening (30) on a reserved field (31) on which the Meaning of the data recorded on the field (29) in this stack assigned language is specified.
- the parts (4a), (4b) and (4c) are lowered onto the base element (3) and the Ensemble in the area of the mounting surfaces (15) and (17) with each other connected.
- This embodiment has the advantage that in the fields (31) of all Information carriers can have fixed standard information, and the variable information (Patient or batch numbers and the like) only once in the field (29) of the Base element must be noted.
- This construction not only makes it easier Production of the labels but also avoids sources of error and errors. It does thus a further significant contribution to the safety of pharmaceuticals e.g. in clinical trials.
- the field (29) is in a surface area of the base element (3) near the edge. This representation is suitable particularly good for clarifying the principle of this construction.
- the Information field (29) can of course be on another if desired Part of the base element are attached. The window openings in the Information carrier stacks are then positioned accordingly.
- the tumbler extension (11a) shown in FIG. 11 with the adjoining one Insert end 12 corresponds to type B of the label according to the invention. After Fixing this label on a folding box can insert the end (12) into the the construction of a folding box resulting slot opening (10) introduced which activates the locking of the label.
- At least one of the Information carrier designed so that it is wholly or partially, if necessary also in several sections can be removed from the information carrier stack.
- the uppermost information carrier of the stack is preferred for this configuration chosen.
- This information carrier is designed so that the Complete or partial removal from the stack not accidentally, but only can be done through targeted, planned action. Configurations that this purpose are known per se.
- the information carrier can certain lines, which can also be wavy, perforated or scored (notched) or it can be otherwise in the lines provided for separation e.g. by deliberately reducing the tensile strength of the material for removing the Sections are prepared.
- the information carrier as a whole comes from the Stack to be removed, for example, around one in the mounting surface seated brace can be placed around perforation or scoring lines. This allows the Information carrier together with the part of the Fastening surface to be removed from the stack while by the bracket held part of the mounting surface remains on the stack. Similarly, at a stack of information carriers stuck together by perforated or pre-scored (notched) dividing lines in the mounting area and information area be divided.
- the measures, a partial or allow complete deliberate separation of an information carrier from the stack can also be used in combination.
- the separable ones Obtain information carriers or their parts so that they are fixed on other surfaces can be.
- This information carrier can, for example, on the Information opposite side protected by a peel-off film Have self-adhesive layer or you can with a water-activated Be rubberized.
- one is or are several information carriers of the stack, preferably the top one, are designed such that one or more partial areas of the same, which at any points of the Information carrier and can have any shape from the composite can be separated.
- the partitions that can be separated are by boundary lines or curves on which the material of the information carrier by known Measures is weakened so that the partial areas along these boundary lines from each other and / or from the rest of the Information carrier can be separated, or they are separated by the edges of the Limited information carrier.
- the known measures that weaken the Materials along the boundary lines are used according to the type of boundary and the shape of the section to be separated appropriately selected.
- the perforation holes can also be elongated holes (slots) between which only selective connections between the separable and the im The remaining part of the information carrier remains.
- the shape and position of the surface elements to be separated can also allow it material fatigue, for example, by buckling along a boundary line provoked, which allows the separation of the section along this line.
- There is also the possibility of a partial length of the carrier material And continuously slit the boundary line through the entire material thickness the unslit part of the boundary through which the separable section still is connected to the part of the information carrier remaining in the network, in which prepare described for the separation.
- a flat information carrier one or of which is particularly advantageous several information-bearing sub-areas are separable, which at any point of the Information carrier lie and can have any shape and which after the Partition can be glued to other surfaces, consisting of a sheet-like, at least three-layer material, the lower layer one adhesive-repellent (adhesive) layer.
- adhesive-repellent is also referred to as a material which adheres to an adhesive layer, but the adhesive connection has no worth mentioning Damage to the layers can be separated again, one within one predetermined separation bandwidth is to be applied.
- Adhesive repellent are so-called smooth layers such as a layer of silicone paper.
- the adhesive-repellent layer borders an adhesive layer and lies above it at least one adhesive-friendly layer bearing the information.
- procured information carrier can then be separated by a section Appropriate double notch along at least one boundary line be prepared that when it is separated from the information carrier along this Boundary line a free strip of adhesive remains on the severed section.
- the information carrier is used by both Notched sides by spaced notches so that one notch (in Figure 12a No. 32a) directly on the intended boundary line from the top through the information-carrying layer (s) and the adhesive layer through to the adhesive-repellent (adhesive) layer is guided, the second notch (32b), preferably essentially parallel to the first, from the bottom only the adhesive-resistant layer severed, and that the two, notches one have a predetermined distance A from each other.
- the notch is from above on the intended boundary line, the one from below is around the Distance A to the center of the surface element to be separated shifted.
- Figure 12a exemplifies a cross section through a section without scale a three-layer information carrier (33) with such a double notch is provided.
- the information-bearing layer (34) is connected to the adhesive-repellent layer (35) via the adhesive layer (7) two spaced notches (32a) and (32b) and the bracket (18) with the Information carrier is attached to the labeled packaging.
- Such a measure can, for example, ensure the safety of clinical trials increase, the attending physician easier the documentation or the patient provide reliable information about the drug.
- Bracket shown in Figures 12a and 12b can of course also be replaced by another fastener.
- Double-notched information carriers can also be independent of the above described multi-part label according to the invention in any known per se Be attached to containers to be labeled. He therefore also represents for himself taken as an inventive element of the present invention.
- one or more information carriers of the stack preferably the top one
- one or more information-bearing labels provided that are wholly or partly deducted from the information carrier can.
- This can e.g. are made possible in a manner known per se that at least the part of the label intended for removal - if necessary, by perforated or scored lines can be separated from the rest of the label - on rests on a surface of the information carrier which is provided with a dehesive coating is.
- the label then also sticks at these points so that it is not accidentally is separated, but in a targeted manner and at the expense of a force that is not too small Information carrier can be deducted.
- the size and shape of the base element is not strictly on limits the size and shape of the packaging area to be labeled. Much more the base element can be both smaller than the packaging surface to which it is fixed should be, or it can protrude, forming an overhang surface (20). Such a Overhang can be used for a special design or attachment of the invention Labels can be beneficial. This results in special options for fastening the information carrier (4) on the base element (3) if the length of the Overhang area corresponds to the width of the fastening area.
- FIG. 13a schematically shows an embodiment of the invention Labels with the information carrier (4) in the manner of a booklet on the overhang (20) of the base element are fixed and the base element with an adhesive layer (7) is provided.
- the information carrier stack then results from the superimposed, centrally folded information carrier strips.
- the overhang is particularly high Flexibility because, as shown in Figure 13b, then Let information carriers flip through particularly easily.
- Figures 13a and 13b are Tumblers of construction B illustrated with the tumbler extensions (11a) and the insertion ends (12), which are attached to a Packaging can be inserted into the slot openings (10, Figure 1b).
- the small circle (19) symbolizes a flexible zone in this figure, too is required when the flexibility of the information carrier material is free Barrier process mobility impaired.
- the information carrier stack (37a) is placed on the side of the packaging (2), which lies opposite the side connected to the base element.
- This structure leaves allow themselves if the length of the overhang area is the sum of the height of the Packaging and the width of an attachment area corresponds.
- the Fastening area of the base element is then expediently at the end of the Overhanging area.
- Tumbler of construction B illustrated with the tumbler extension (11a) and the insertion end (12) which, after the label has been attached to a package in the slot opening (No. 10, Figure 1b) can be inserted.
- the small circle (19) symbolizes a flexible zone in this figure, too is required when the flexibility of the information carrier material is free Barrier process mobility impaired.
- This type of attachment of the label according to the invention opens on the packaging also the possibility of two information carrier packages (37a) and (37b) on one Attach packaging (2) as shown schematically in Figure 15.
- the stack (37a) is with a tumbler of construction B, the stack (37b) with a tumbler the construction A provided, where necessary, if necessary flexible zones between the upper information carrier and the extension (11a) and can be inserted between the base element and the extension (11b).
- Base element overhangs of a suitable length can also be used as tumbler extensions become.
- Another way to use a base overhang is to use the existing between the closing flap (9) and the jacket (8) of a package Lead gap or slot opening (10, Fig 1b) and its end on the other side of the gap to permanently fix the packaging jacket or the closing flap.
- a package Lead gap or slot opening (10, Fig 1b) and its end on the other side of the gap to permanently fix the packaging jacket or the closing flap.
- the label surrounds the packaging like a banderole.
- Such a safety lock gives the user of the package contents the Certainty that you will receive an original sealed container that matches the one on the label actually contains the specified content.
- Such security closures can also can be easily varied in different directions. So he can Base overhang e.g. be so long that it extends around the entire packaging and its end firmly with the side of the base member opposite its neck is connected. The wrapping of the packaging is arranged such. B. along the sides of the sealing tabs that the package cannot be opened can without the basic overhang wrapping around the pack at one point cut through.
- overhangs on both sides of the base element which are so long together that they are so far after wrapping the packaging overlap so that the ends can be firmly connected.
- One or two Make these overhangs of the base element, which are closed to form a band, for the severing will be prepared. For example, it can be marked by a notch, a Perforation or weakened by scratching or simply by a printed Scissors symbol.
- FIG. 16 schematically shows a packaging (2) which is separated from the overhangs (20a; 20b), which in the overlap area (38) by a connecting means (39), e.g. a Clamp, a rivet, a welding spot or a bond are firmly connected, is completely embraced.
- the flaps become through the loop (9a; 9b) covered, whereby the packaging is secured against unauthorized opening.
- the predetermined breaking lines (40a and 40b) running across the overhang Overhang material, for example by scoring, perforating or other known Measures weakened so that it can be cut there by the user.
- Type B can be the top or one of the top information carriers Tumbler extension with one insertion end and one Safety extension that is permanently on the packaging beyond the gap opening (10) can be fixed.
- Such a double function can be realized, for example, by divided the base overhang by one or more longitudinal cuts so that the emerging narrower stripes perform different functions.
- the width of the individual strips formed in this way can be and will be the same or different selected according to the function intended for them.
- a strip cut from the base element over the closure flap of the packaging pulled, and permanently fixed to the packaging jacket, so that it as Safety lock acts as a second strip as a tumbler extension (11b) is used.
- the tongue can then for example as a tumbler extension, the rest of the overhang as a safety sleeve act.
- a packaging with a label according to the invention that described Construction is illustrated in Figure 17a without scale in oblique supervision.
- the tumbler extension (11b) is cut out of the overhang 20 Tongue formed.
- a fastening means (41a) is provided at the end of the overhang, this in cooperation with what is on the packaging jacket Fastening means (41b) a permanent fixation of the overhang on the packaging enables.
- the overhang preferably along the predetermined breaking lines (40a and 40b), if necessary, using a handle tab (45) and then cutting the Packaging must be opened.
- a window (42) is used in the area of the packaging slot (10) provided in the width of the tumbler extension through which the insertion end (12) of the tumbler in the slot (10) can be inserted.
- Figure 17b illustrates an example of such a construction.
- opening the packaging can also be independent of the application and / or construction of the label according to the invention to any other Known type that only opens the packaging with damage or destruction the securing elements are allowed to be accomplished.
- security elements provide a firm, positive connection between the outer surface (8) and End face (closure flap) (9) of the packaging.
- Such a firm connection can act, for example, within the gap (10), e.g. attached there Adhesive surfaces or points that cover the inside of the packaging jacket (8) with the Connect the tongue of the cover (9).
- the securing element like the band described above, consists of a strip of a severable material which, spanning the gap (10), on two is fixed anywhere on either side of the gap.
- Securing strip corresponds to the width of the packaging, it covers the gap (10) completely.
- a label according to the invention whose Guard locking corresponds to construction B, so in the security strip in the area the slot (10) has a slot-like opening in the width of the tumbler extension (11) attached or a security strip is used that is narrower than that Width of the packaging so that part of the slot (10) remains free, in which the Tumbler extension (11) can be inserted.
- a single one Security strip can also be used two strips that together are narrower than the slot width, so that the tumbler extension between them can be inserted.
- a safety device can also be combined with the tumbler construction B. by - as shown in Figure 18 - on the upper information carrier (4) attached tumbler extension (11a) a branch to the insertion end (12) and to a fuse end (43).
- the base element (3) is through the Adhesive layer (7) connected to the packaging jacket (8).
- Between the coat (8) and the closing flap (9) of the packaging is the gap opening (10), in which the insertion end 12 can be inserted.
- the securing end (43) is fixed on the packaging jacket and prevents this Open the packaging.
- Such branching can e.g. in an easy way can be obtained in that, as in Figure 19 schematically and without scale shown, another extension to the insertion end (12) of the tumbler (Fuse extension) (43), which is longer than the insertion end (12).
- the fuse extension When inserting the insertion end (12) into the slot (10) as indicated by arrow (a) indicated, the fuse extension is bent back and partially in the slot inserted, but protrudes beyond the slot. The one that protrudes beyond the slot Part of the fuse extension then forms the fuse end (43) which is more suitable Manner, e.g. by means of permanent adhesives (41a, 41b) on the packaging, e.g. on whose lid flap (9) - as shown in Figure 19 by the arrow (b) - or, if it is longer than shown in Figure 19, fixed on the packaging jacket (8) becomes.
- the security measures shown in Figures 17a, 17b, 18, 19 and 20 serve to a single hinged lid (9) of a package (folding box) against secure unauthorized opening.
- a second hinged cover No. 9a in the figures 21 a and 21b
- it can either be inside the packaging so that it cannot be glued without damaging the packaging can be opened, or the packaging, as shown in FIG. 16, thanks to two base overhangs that span the entire packaging in a banderole be protected, or the length of a base overhang or the fuse extension the label of the invention is to be dimensioned such that it also the second Cover the opening gap (No. 10a in FIGS. 21a and 21b) and beyond it on the packaging, e.g. the second hinged lid, as in Figure 21a schematically and shown without scale, or on the packaging jacket under the base element, as shown in Figure 21 b, can be fixed.
- Multi-part labels according to the invention which prefer several of the above Features are particularly preferred.
- the invention also relates to a method for producing the Multi-part label according to the invention.
- the production is advantageously carried out in such a way that a base element and Information carriers are tailored, using the materials for basic element and Information carriers can be the same or different.
- the Base elements are expediently any desired overhangs and / or tumbler extensions and / or safety extensions when cutting the Information carriers with the tumbler extensions and / or safety extensions cut. It is of course also possible to attach these extensions to the base element and To post information carriers later.
- the blanks become smaller Areas for fastening the individual elements to one another (fastening areas), Larger intended for the reception of information (information areas) and optionally, e.g.
- a kink line can be provided transversely to the longitudinal axis of the tumbler extension, when closing the label over the slot (10) of the label Packaging comes to rest.
- the total length of the tumbler extension preferably dimensioned so that this only under a slight bend in the slot the packaging can be inserted.
- Free adhesive layers of the label are expediently with peel-off films covered and protected.
- the information can be found in a company The most suitable manufacturing stage on the information areas be applied. If desired, the labels can also be used without information are delivered to consumers who want to apply the information themselves. The order of these manufacturing measures can as far as possible operational requirements.
- the base element, and the information carrier from a coherent strip of a suitable one sheet material of sufficient strength cut out.
- Tumbler extensions and / or securing extensions and / or overhangs can be at the two ends of the Strip with cut, or, as explained in more detail below, in the form of tongue-shaped Cut surface elements out of base element surface or information carriers become. But they can also be retrofitted.
- dashed line 21a
- FIG. 17 illustrates where, in an analogous manner, a tongue-shaped Tumbler extension (11b) is generated from an overhang (20). It goes without saying itself that the tongue-shaped tumbler extension 11'b in an analogous manner also from the Base element can be formed and that the tongue-shaped tumbler extensions also manufactured separately and on the uninjured information carriers or the Base element attached, e.g. can be glued.
- the information carrier surfaces can then be zigzag folded into one Information carrier stack are merged, taking the embodiment of the Figure 6 receives, or two successive Information carrier sections are glued to the mutually facing surfaces, wherein the embodiment of Figure 5 is obtained.
- Multi-part labels according to the invention serve, which at the same time securing the Enable packaging against unauthorized opening by, as in Figures 21a and 21b is shown with a base overhang or a securing extension or several hinged lid gaps (10a, 10b) of the labels to be labeled and protected Cover the packaging and beyond it in one place on a hinged lid or permanently attached to the jacket of the packaging.
- One for backup the packaging suitable embodiment of the label according to the invention is after the alternative manufacturing process obtained if one according to FIG end of the strip of material not connected to the information carriers
- the base overhang (20) becomes, if a tumbler 11b is desired, expediently such a tongue-shaped Cut out the area so that its base line still matches the base element stays connected. It can, bent up, cooperate with the extension 11a Lock the label while at the end using the permanent adhesive 41a provided base overhang (20) securing the hinged cover of the Packaging can serve against unauthorized opening.
- a variant of this manufacturing process is that as a base element Area of the packaging to be labeled itself used and for this function is being prepared.
