Claims (4)

  1. Power socket base (1) with a lid (5) and provided with electrical contacts (2) which are mounted in an insulating support (3) arranged in a casing (4) and designed to co-operate with opposing contacts (9) of a connector (8) also provided with a casing (10) designed to be introduced between the insulating support (3) and the casing (4) of the base (1) in the course of the coupling of the connector and the base, characterised in that a bellows seal (14) is arranged sealingly around the insulating support (3) of the base (1), between said insulating support (3) and the casing (4) of the base, whereas at least one elastic means (12) is provided to force said seal (14) towards an extended position, said seal adopting a folded position when it is forced by the front end of the casing (10) of the connector (8) against the effect of said elastic means (12).
  2. Power socket base according to claim 1, additionally provided with an ejection ring (11) which is arranged between the insulating support (3) and the casing (4) of said base (1) and which is designed to be forced by the front end of the casing (10) of the connector (8) in the course of the coupling of the connector and the base against the effect of at least one elastic means (12) with which said ring (11) is provided, characterised in that the bellows seal (14) at least partly covers the top of the ejection ring (11) such that this covering portion (14b) of the seal is clamped between said ring (11) and the front end of the casing (10) of the connector (8) in the coupling position of the connector in the base, said elastic means (12) of the ejection ring (11) thus serving as elastic means for extension of the seal.
  3. Power socket base according to claim 2, characterised in that the lid (5) of the base (1) is provided with an annular skirt (15) designed to be introduced into the casing (4) of the base when said base in not coupled with the connector (8), the height of said skirt (15) being chosen so that in the closed position its front end bears under pressure on the portion (14b) of the seal which covers the ejection ring (11).
  4. Power socket base according to claim 3, provided additionally with at least one safety disc (7) locked in an angular position at rest by at least one projection (13) provided on the ejection ring (11), unlocking being effected by the connector (8) in the course of coupling, characterised in that the height of the skirt (15) of the lid (5) is chosen in order to bear on and push back the ejection ring (11) without the latter going beyond its position for unlocking of the safety disc (7).
