Abstract

The visual position indicator for an electrical plug and socket set has a socket (2) with a window section (20). There is a coloured section (21) in a first colour behind the window section. The plug (1) has a coloured area (10) in a second colour which covers the first colour when the plug and socket combination are correctly closed, thus providing a visual indication of whether the plug and socket combination are closed or not.
