Claims (6)

  1. Electrical connection element (1) provided with electrical contacts (3b-3e) which are mounted in an insulating block (4) and distributed peripherally and designed to co-operate with the corresponding contact pins (5b, 5c) of a plug (2), after coupling of said plug (2) with said element in the course of at least a first translation movement followed by a rotation and a second translation, a rotary safety disc (6) being arranged above the insulating block of the connection element and comprising peripheral openings (7b-7e) the number and positioning of which are chosen so as firstly to hide the peripheral contacts (3b-3e) of the connection element when at rest and secondly to be positioned above these after the rotation of the disc entrained by the pins of the plug introduced into said openings of the disc in the course of the first translation movement, while sealing studs (9b-9e) are arranged under the safety disc in the same number and disposed in the same way as the peripheral openings (7b-7e) of the latter so as to sealingly block said openings in the rest position under the influence of elastic means, said sealing studs being disengageable from said peripheral openings by the pins of the plug (2), said element being characterised in that the sealing studs (9b-9e) are disposed on a sealing disc (8) which is arranged under the safety disc (6), which additionally comprises peripheral openings (16c) at least in the same number and disposed in the same way as the peripheral openings (7b-7e) of the safety disc, while being offset angularly in relation to said sealing studs, and which is mounted fixed in rotation and mobile in translation against elastic means (10) which force it towards the safety disc (6), in order to provide a rest position in which the sealing studs block said peripheral openings (7b-7e) of the safety disc, while the sealing disc can be moved away from the safety disc by the pins (5b, 5c) of the plug (2) in the course of the first translation movement such that the sealing studs (9b-9e) are disengaged from the openings (7b-7e) of the safety disc which can thus be entrained in rotation by said pins, which can then come into a connection position by passing through the peripheral openings (16c) of the sealing disc (8), the latter returning to its sealing blocking position in the course of the uncoupling of the plug (2) and said element (1), under the influence of said elastic means (10) with which it is provided.
  2. Electrical connection element according to claim 1, characterised in that the safety disc (6) is provided with a central extension (15) on which is mounted mobile in translation the sealing disc (8) which is provided for that purpose with a central opening of shape matching that of said extension (15).
  3. Electrical connection element according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the elastic means which force the sealing disc towards the safety disc are constituted by springs (10) disposed substantially under each of said studs.
  4. Electrical connection element according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the safety disc (6) and the insulating block (4) are provided with means to ensure the sealing of the safety disc at its periphery.
  5. Electrical connection element according to claim 4, characterised in that said means for ensuring the sealing of the safety disc (6) at its periphery are constituted by a peripheral groove which is formed in a sleeve (12) surrounding the insulating block (4) of the element and in which the safety disc turns, and by an annular seal (13) housed in said groove of the sleeve (12).
  6. Electrical connection element according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that each sealing stud (9b-9e) is constituted by a nipple of shape corresponding to the opening of the safety disc to be blocked and an annular seal (11b-11c) disposed at its base and which comes to bear under the sealing disc in the blocking position.
