Claims (6)

  1. Socket for electrical connection to a plug or the like, and constituting the base of a power socket or the mobile socket of an extension or of a connector, provided with a plurality of contacts disposed in housings (4a-4e; 4'a-4'e) formed in an insulating support (1; 1') along a circumference, but with one of them (4e; 4'e) being central, whereas at least one safety disc (5; 5') made of insulating material mounted pivoting on the contact support (1; 1') coaxial with the circumference of the contacts, is provided with openings (10a-10e; 10'a-10'e) designed for passage by the contacts of the plug and is arranged so as to be entrained in rotation by the plug in order to pass from an initial position in which the housings of the circumferential contacts are at least largely blocked to a connection position at the end of rotation which uncovers at least some of said contact housings, characterised in that a shutter (9; 9') of the central housing (4e; 4'e) is fitted so that it can move in or on the contact support (1; 1') and in that paired means of entrainment are provided between said shutter (9; 9') and the safety disc (5; 5') such that in the initial position of the safety disc, the housing (4e; 4'e) of the central contact is blocked by said shutter while the latter unblocks said housing in the course of the rotation of the safety disc through cooperation of the paired means of entrainment.
  2. Socket according to claim 1, characterised in that the shutter (9) is fitted so that it can move radially in the support (1), while the paired means of entrainment take the form of an entrainment lug (17) provided under the safety disc (5) and of an oblique slot (16) formed in the shutter (9) such that the rotation of the disc produces a radial translation movement of the shutter and makes it possible to pass from a position in which the central housing (4e) is blocked to a position in which it is unblocked and vice versa.
  3. Socket according to claim 2, characterised in that the oblique slot (16) exhibits at least at one of its ends a small extension (18) in the direction of the rotary movement to allow for a small amount of play in the rotation of the safety disc (5), without affecting the translation movement of the shutter (9).
  4. Socket according to one of claims 2 and 3, characterised in that the shutter (9) is fitted so that it can move in a radial slot (14) located in the contact support (1) and debouching above or in the upper portion of the housing (4e) of the central contact.
  5. Socket according to claim 1, characterised in that the shutter (9') takes the form of a bar fitted so that it is free to rotate at one (19) of its ends in the vicinity of the peripheral circumference of the contact support (1'), whereas at its other end it exhibits a slot or opening (16') designed to cooperate with a lug (17') arranged under the safety disc (5'), said lug and said opening constituting the means of entrainment of the shutter (9') such that a rotation of the safety disc produces a rotation of the shutter in the form of a bar and makes it possible to pass from a position in which the central housing (4'e) is blocked by the median portion of the bar to a position in which it is unblocked and vice versa.
  6. Socket according to claim 5, characterised in that the median portion of the shutter in the form of a bar exhibits a swelling (15').
