Description
Zwar ist bezüglich deren Ausbildung jede zur Erzeugung einer gewissen axialen Spannkraft geeignete und eine problemlos lösbare Verbindung von Abdeckkappe und Gehäuse ermöglichende Ausbildung einer Verschraubung mehr oder minder gut für die Erreichung des angestrebten Zweckes geeignet, jedoch ist in einer bevorzugten Weise vorgesehen, daß die der Verbindung der Abdeckkappe mit dem Gehäuse dienende Verschraubung wenigstens einen achsparallel zur Gehäuseachse ausgerichtet angeordneten Schraubenbolzen und wenigstens eine entsprechende Gewindebohrung im Gehäuse umfaßt. Dieser eine Schraubenbolzen kann auch durch eine Zentralschraube gebildet sein, welche dann als Hohlschraube für die Kabeleinführung gestaltet sein sollte.
Die sowohl aus der Sicht des technischen Aufwandes wie auch aus der Sicht der Montage-und Servicefreundlichkeit vorteilhafteste Gestaltungsform der Verschraubung der Abdeckkappe gegen das Gehäuse wird jedoch darin gesehen, , daß die der Verbindung der Abdeckkappe mit dem Gehäuse dienende Verschraubung zwei einander bezüglich einer Längsmittelebene des Gehäuses gegenüberliegend angeordnete Schraubenbolzen umfaßt. Diese einzelnen Schraubenbolzen können dabei vermittels an sich bekannter und gebräuchlicher Mittel auch unverlierbar in der Abdeckkappe angeordnet sein.

Claims (10)
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte zur Herstellung elektrischer Leitungsverbindungen, bestehend aus einem einerseits im Bereich seines einen Endes einen Isolierkörper als Kontaktträger (7) und andererseits im Bereich seines anderen Endes eine abdichtende Kabeleinführung aufnehmenden und halternden Gehäuse (2) sowie einer eine Schraubverbindung mit einer komplementär gestalteten zweiten Steckverbinderhälfte ermöglichenden Überwurfmutter (4), welche drehbar auf dem Außenumfang des Gehäuses (2) gelagert und gegen ein Abziehen in axialer Richtung gesichert ist, und einer lösbar am Gehäuse (2) festgelegten Abdeckkappe (5), wobei
die Überwurfmutter (4) einerseits im Bereich ihres freien, den Kontaktträger (7) überragenden Endes auf einer zylindrischen Umfangsfläche (3) des Gehäuses (2) abgestützt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Überwurfmutter (4) andererseits im Bereich ihres anderen Endes auf einem zylindrischen Längenabschnitt (22) eines Halsfortsatzes (23) der deckkappe (5) abgestützt ist und daß sich die Überwurfmutter über den überwiegenden Bereich der axialen Gesamtlänge des Gehäuses (2) des Rundsteckverbinders hin erstreckt. - Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die der Verbindung der Abdeckkappe (5) mit dem Gehäuse (2) dienende Verschraubung zwei einander bezüglich einer Längsmittelebene des Gehäuses (2) gegenüberliegend angeordnete Schraubenbolzen (24) umfaßt.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß daß jedem der die Verschraubung der Abdeckkappe (5) mit dem Gehäuse (2) bildenden Schraubenbolzen (24) jeweils eine in einer bezüglich dessen allgemeinem Außenumfang radial nach außen vorspringenden Rippe (26) des Gehäuses (2) angeordnete Gewindebohrung (26) zugeordnet ist.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Dicke der radial vorspringenden Rippen (25) des Gehäuses (2) der Materialstärke des axialen Halsfortsatzes (23) der Abdeckkappe (5) entspricht und daß der axiale Halsfortsatz (23) der Abdeckkappe (5) mit einer der Anzahl der Rippen (26) des Gehäuses (2) entsprechenden Anzahl von Schlitzausnehmungen (27) versehen ist.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die außenliegende Oberfläche der bezüglich des Gehäuses (2) radial vorspringenden Rippen (26) derart gewölbt ist, daß sie zum Außenumfang des Halsfortsatzes (23) der Abdeckkappe (5) fluchtet.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in das dem Kontaktträger (7) gegenüberliegende Ende des Gehäuses (2) eine Kabeleinführung mit einer an diese angeschlossenen am Kabel (9) anliegenden Dichtung (16) eingesetzt ist und daß die Kabeleinführung samt angeschlossener Dichtun (16) mittels der Abdeckkappe (5) gegen die innenliegende Stirnseite des Gehäuses (2) verspannbar ist.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im Bogenteil (15) der Abdeckkappe (5) für den Eintritt des Kabels (9) vorgesehene Öffnung (18) mit radial nach innen vorspringenden Elementen oder Klemmkorb (17) bzw. einer konischen Verjüngung versehen ist, welche im Zusammenwirken mit der Dichtung (16) bei vollständig gegen das Gehäuse (2) verspannter Abdeckkappe (5) eine eine Zugentlastung bildende radiale Pressung auf den Kabelmantel bewirken.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Überwurfmutter (4) vermittels eines radial nach innen gerichteten Bundes (19) an der Stirnfläche (20) des Gehäuses (2) abgestützt und einem im Abstand zu Bund vermittels eines Sprengringes (21) und gegen ein Abziehen in axialer Richtung gesichert ist.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Überwurfmutter (4) zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und einen Griffkörper (29), vorzugsweise aus einem Kunststoffmaterial, und einen Stütz-und Lagerkörper (30), vorzugsweise aus einem Metall, umfaßt, wobei der Stütz-und Lagerkörper (30) die Abstützung der Überwurfmutter (4) an dem vorderen Endbereich des Gehäuses (2) bildet und auch den radial nach innen vorspringenden Bund sowie den Sprengringeingriff aufweist.
- Rundsteckverbinderhälfte nach Anspruch 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Stütz-und Lagerkörper (30) in einem axialen Fortsatz auch das Innengewinde der Überwurfmutter (4) aufweist.
