Definitions
- the invention relates to a supply unit, in particular for the care of patients in the nursing area with at least one of a channel-like profile for receiving and guiding supply lines and connectable to the profile cover plate for closing the channel, each profile in its entirety of at least two profile segments along a in the longitudinal direction extending joint is assembled and can be pre-assembled by be provided at the joint connecting means and wherein the profile segments are detachably connected to each other.
- a housing unit is fastened to a wall and receives two or more superimposed, directly abutting profiles.
- Each profile has a substantially U-shaped cross-section with forward (away from the wall) opening.
- the opening is closed by cover plates, wherein the cover plates usually have a smaller length than the channel housing.
- the cover plates contain connection devices for the power supply, electrical signal connections, measuring lines or compressed air, vacuum, gas and the like.
- the channel housings arranged in the housing unit are separated from one another by the side legs, which form a common partition wall between the channels. It may be, for example, that in one channel electrical lines are guided, while in the adjoining channel gas lines or Vacuum lines are arranged. The mutual separation of such lines is required so that explosions can not occur within a gas channel due to electrical defects.
- Such a supply unit is for example from the European patent 0 551 600 the applicant known.
- the supply unit disclosed therein has two channels arranged in a housing unit with interlocking elements for mutually fixing the channels.
- the attachment of the cover plates on the front of the profiles is carried out by one-sided bearings of the cover plate provided in the profile joint engagement and a screw which is screwed through the at the opposite end through the cover plates in a clamp which engages around the partition.
- the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing the generic supply unit in such a way that the overall profile can be readily assembled in accordance with the customer requirements given in the individual case independently of the material of the profile segments and the material thicknesses of the profiles can be reduced whilst maintaining overall stability.
- the profile segments have an outwardly projecting web at the joint and that in each case two webs can be connected to one another at a joint by a clamp.
- the profiles formed essentially as U-profiles along the central axis running perpendicular to the longitudinal extension axis are divided and there have the joint for connecting the profile segments.
- the increasing profiles can be subdivided into smaller profile segments, which can be assembled as desired into larger units. Since the profile segments have smaller dimensions, they can be manufactured with significantly smaller wall thicknesses than would have been necessary for the production of the original, undivided profile.
- the inventive design can be different geometries and types of profiles from modularly assembled differently shaped profile segments, so that the storage of a larger number of different profiles is unnecessary; Rather, only the corresponding profile segments need to be assembled as needed to obtain different profiles. Finally, the partition must not be double-walled and no interlocking elements between the profiles are necessary.
- the profile segments are preferably extruded from aluminum.
- the channel housing as well as the cover plates usually consist of extruded profiles which have a constant cross section over their entire length.
- the profile segments are inventively releasably connected to each other.
- the profile segments have at the joint webs which are integrally formed on the profile segment. Two webs of adjoining profile segments are complementary to each other. This prevents a relative offset of the webs.
- the webs preferably extend transversely to the profile wall on which they are provided.
- the assembly is therefore particularly simple and flexible because the joining of the adjoining webs of two adjacent profile segments is carried by a clamp which engages around the free ends of the webs.
- For additional fixation recesses may be provided in the webs, in which provided on the brackets hook positively engage.
- Two types of profile segments are required for the modular construction of differently shaped profiles in the simplest version, namely a middle profile segment (middle profile segment) in the installed position and an outer profile segment (outer profile segment) in the installed position.
- the middle profile segment forms, for example, in the installed state, the base of the substantially U-shaped profiles attached to the substrate.
- Approximately in the middle of the middle profile segment in the installation position of the wall wegragender center web is integrally formed.
- two outer profile segments assembled with a middle profile segment form a double channel. Seen in cross section, the outer profile segments essentially formed as angle profiles; whereas, seen in cross-section, the center profile segment has substantially the shape of a T-profile.
- two outer profile segments can be connected directly to each other without interposing a middle profile segment. It is then a one-channel embodiment.
- the provision of the abutting webs on the profile segments ensures a particularly high longitudinal and bending stiffness of the profiles composed of the profile segments. In this way, with significantly reduced wall thickness of the profile segments equal profiles can be realized.
- the middle profile segment is further provided, in a preferred embodiment, with a mounting slot extending along the longitudinal axis, e.g. is arranged at the end of the web provided on the middle profile segment web.
- This mounting slot may be formed as a threaded channel, are screwed into the screws for fastening the cover plate.
- the threaded channel is preferably integrally formed on the center profile.
- a threaded channel can also be provided on the outer profiles.
- the threaded channel receives the fixing screws for the cover plates.
- the embodiment of the invention makes it possible to screw the fastening screws at each point along the threaded channel; one is therefore no longer dependent on locally fixed brackets.
- the screw engages in the installed state edges which are provided on the outer edge of the cover plates; Holes in the cover plates are therefore unnecessary.
- care should be taken that all screw connections of the supply unit are designed as non-positive electrical connection to ensure grounding.
- the supply unit consists of two outer profile segments which are frictionally connected in the middle with a spring on the webs.
- one or more intermediate profile segments are inserted between the outer profiles.
- the profiles formed from the profile segments can also be arranged in an elongated housing unit. This simplifies assembly, since only the housing unit with a mounting plate must be fixed to the wall and the profiles can then be inserted into the housing unit.
- the housing unit makes it possible to design the appearance of the supply unit as desired.
- the profile segments themselves can have any shape necessary for the application.
- the Fig. 1 shows a supply unit, which is enclosed by an elongate housing unit 1 and can be attached to a wall.
- the housing unit encloses two mutually superimposed, directly against each other abutting channel housing 11, 12.
- Each channel housing has a substantially U-shaped cross-section with forward (away from the wall) opening. This opening is closed by cover plates 13, 14, wherein the cover plates 13, 14 have a smaller length than the channel housing.
- the cover plates contain connection devices 2, 3 for the power supply, electrical signal connections, measuring lines or compressed air, vacuum, gas or the like.
- the channels of the two channel housing 11, 12 are separated from each other.
- the channel of the channel housing 11 contains electrical lines, while that of the channel housing 12 contains gas lines or vacuum lines.
- Fig. 2 shows an inventive profile in the front view; the cross section of the profile is slightly different than that in FIG. 1 shown.
- the support rails which are designed as T-profiles, are used for attaching and fixing devices that are needed for medical patient care. Such devices can have a considerable weight.
- the gap between the upper cover plates 13 and the lower cover plates 14 is closed by a flexible sealing tube 17, which can be pressed from the front into this gap and snaps there.
- the front ends of the channel housing 11, 12 can be closed by head pieces.
- FIG. 2 shown supply unit is composed of a middle profile segment 18 and two associated with this outer profile segments 19 and 20.
- the middle profile segment 18, seen in cross section, has a substantially T-shaped form.
- a base perpendicular to this standing crossbar 18 b is integrally formed.
- This crosspiece 18b protrudes in the installed position of the Subsurface and forms a partition wall between the channel housing 11 and the channel housing 12.
- a centering engagement 21 with a mounting slot 43 for the screws of the cover plates.
- On the transverse web 18b there are two legs, which extend parallel to the transverse web and are directed upwards and downwards, having at their free end forwardly directed tips 24, 25 with two inclined surfaces.
- the upper outer profile segment 19 in the figure has a horizontal upper wall 19a in the installed position and an adjoining rear wall 19b extending transversely to the upper wall.
- a hook-shaped web 19c is formed on the directed in the installation position to the wall end, which engages behind a form-fittingly secured by a screw to a wall mounting rail 32.
- the joint or parting plane of the profile segments is in the Fig. 3 shown enlarged.
- the joint runs along the entire longitudinal direction of the profile and separates the profile in two parts.
- Both the middle profile segment 18 and the outer profile segments 18 and 19 are provided at the joints with in the installed position outwardly projecting webs 33, 34.
- the webs 33, 34 extend substantially perpendicular to the base 18a of the middle profile segment 18 and the rear wall 19b of the outer profile segment 19.
- the webs 33, 34 run along the entire longitudinal extension direction of the supply unit.
- Aligning grooves and springs are formed in the joint area between the mutually abutting webs, which are designated in their entirety by 35. These alignment grooves and springs 35 ensure precise assembly of the center profile segment 18 with the outer profile segments 19 and 20 and at the same time prevent an undesired relative offset transversely to the viewing direction.
- the two webs 33, 34 are held together by an outer side, the two webs 33, 34 enclosing sheet metal clamp 37.
- This substantially U-shaped bracket engages with its legs, the two webs 33, 34 and presses these webs against each other.
- the legs of the clip 37 are bent inwardly so that they press at any time under bias against the webs 33, 34.
- the legs of the clamp 37 latching hooks 38, 39, which engage in wedge-shaped grooves 40, 41 in the webs 33, 34 to prevent inadvertent slipping of the clip 37 of the webs 33, 34.
- the profile segments are held together by a plurality of such clips, which are secured along the joint.
- FIG. 5 an alternative embodiment of the supply unit is shown in cross section, which is formed with a lower channel housing 44 for the electrical supply and an upper channel housing 45 for receiving lights.
- the upper channel housing has a substantially triangular cross section with curved walls.
- This embodiment of the supply unit is composed of three profile segments of different geometry.
- lower outer profile segment 46 substantially corresponds to the lower outer profile segment 20 gem.
- Fig. 2 The middle profile segment 47 is provided with a base 47a extending parallel to the wall in the installation position, which merges via an angled region 47b into the rear wall of the upper channel housing 45, so that the rear wall abuts directly against the wall to prevent the entry of dirt between the supply unit and to prevent the wall.
- Another outer profile segment 48 is closed with the first outer profile segment 46 and the middle profile segment 47 to a geometric overall profile.
- the profile segments 46, 47, 48 are also provided at the junction points with mutually adjacent webs, which are encompassed latching by brackets in order to realize a firm connection between the profile segments.
- the required for the operation of the lights units and resources are arranged, for. the wiring, ballasts, starters, reflectors and grid inserts.
- FIG. 6 an end view is shown in section of a supply unit according to the invention, which is formed einschubig.
- This profile consists of two outer profile segments 50 and 51, which are held together at the parting plane or joint 52 by a bracket 53 in the manner previously described.
- the joint 52 and the bracket 53 are identical to those configured in the FIG. 3 displayed are.
- a mounting slot 54 is integrally formed on the in the figure lower outer profile segment 51 at the projecting in the mounting position forward end.
- one or more screws 55 are screwed to close the channel with a cover plate 56 in a known manner.
- a locking connection can be provided if no screws are to be used.
- screw channels can be provided, where, for example, units are screwed.
- These screw channels are in the FIG. 6 exemplified by reference numeral 57 and have a C-shaped cross section.
- the screw channels 57 are integrally formed on the Profilsegementen.
- the joint 52 is concealed on the inside of the channel by a cover plate 58 which has a substantially U-shaped cross-section.
- the mounting position in the upper leg of the cover plate 58 engages behind a provided on the inside of the upper profile segment 50 T-shaped web, and the lower leg in installation position is secured by one or more screws 60 to a screw 61 which on the rear wall of the lower outer profile segment 51st is provided.
- the cover plate covers the joint 52 and can be used at the same time for easily removable assembly of aggregates.
- the existing channels can be factory pre-assembled and then installed in the building.
- a wall holder may be provided, which preferably also consists of an extruded profile and is fastened with screws to the wall.
- the wall holder can extend over the entire length of the profile.
- the profiles usually have circumferential spacer webs, which space the profiles of the wall and are formed with webs for engaging behind the wall bracket.
- the composite of the profile segments profiles can also be arranged in a housing unit enclosing this. In this way, the aesthetic impression of the supply unit can be easily changed at will.
- the supply unit according to the invention does not necessarily have to be fastened to a substrate.
- the method of assembling a profile of a plurality of profile segments is also usable for supply units arranged around a vertically extending support. It follows that the invention is not necessarily limited to supply units, but is generally usable for the construction of any profiles for different applications.
- the abstraction of the inventive idea is therefore also a production method for a channel-like profile for receiving and guiding supply lines, which can be closed by a cover plate that can be connected to the profile.
- the inventive method is characterized in that each profile is composed in its entirety of at least two Profilsegementen, which are connected to one another at a parting plane or joint.
