Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif destinés au positionnement des organes de gravure d'une machine à graver électronique destinée à la gravure de cylindres d'impression par héliogravure. Au moins deux billettes de gravure (A, B, C) du cylindre d'impression (1), juxtaposées dans le sens de l'axe du cylindre d'impression (1) et de largeurs données (SB), sont respectivement gravées sous forme de godets par un organe de gravure (3) associé. Avant la gravure, il faut régler les distances axiales qui séparent les organes de gravure (3), aux largeurs de billettes (SB) nécessaires. Pour économiser du temps, on effectue d'abord un réglage approximatif manuel des distances axiales séparant les organes de gravure (3). Dans un dispositif (20), on produit des marques de position axiale de référence (18) délimitant des distances axiales qui correspondent aux largeurs de billettes (SB). Les organes de gravure (3) présentent des marques de position axiales (19). Lors du positionnement approximatif, on déplace manuellement les organes de gravure (3) jusqu'à ce que leurs marques de position (19) coïncident avec les marques de position de référence (18). Une fois le positionnement approximatif manuel effectué, on procède à un positionnement fin des organes de gravure (3).
