Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel extraction device for arrangement in a fuel tank with a supply and a return line, a Fuel filter and receptacles for the supply and return lines.
- Fuel dispensing devices are mainly used in fuel tanks diesel-fueled motor vehicles used.
- a fuel extraction device with a swirl pot is known in which lead a flow and a return line (DE 196 26 902 C1).
- the Schlingertopf has a holder for the return line and a holder for a cylindrical filter, which is also in the swirl pot in a receptacle is clipped in.
- the end of the flow line is located inside the filter, through which the fuel is sucked out of the tank and through the filter becomes.
- the return line has a vertical slot at its end, through which the fuel returned by the engine from the return line exit. The fuel emerging from the slot flows with this predetermined one Direction to the wall of the rolling pot and becomes like this on it redirected that the fuel then on a small portion of the Filter scope meets.
- the invention has for its object a fuel removal device to create, which has a good cold start behavior, inexpensive and easy is to be assembled.
- the fuel extraction device comprises a flow line, a return line and one near the bottom of the fuel tank arranged fuel filter.
- the leading and up to the filter Return lines are arranged in receptacles.
- the recording for the Return line is for splitting the fuel flow into at least two Partial streams formed.
- An area closed down and to the side is arranged to this recording that at least a partial flow of Return line is directed into this area. In this area is the Arranged intake pipe arranged. Another partial flow is opposed led directly to the filter surface.
- the advantage of this fuel extraction device is that the Engine recirculated hot fuel, which is divided into several partial flows wherein at least a partial stream is passed directly onto the filter surface, so that paraffin particles deposited there in particular at cold temperatures dissolve and fuel at least over this section of the filter surface can be sucked in.
- the fuel extraction device according to the invention thus has a very good cold start behavior. Furthermore, the Arrangement of the return line inside the filter has a cleaning effect of the filter is achieved because impurities accumulate on the outside of the filter surface be washed away. Furthermore, the guarantees down and side closed area of the filter that always a certain amount of Fuel is led to the supply line. The fuel dispenser therefore does not require any additional storage devices. As a result of the simpler Construction and the associated easier assembly is the invention Fuel extraction device extremely inexpensive.
- the filter is cylindrical, wherein the filter surface is the outer surface.
- the filter surface is the outer surface.
- the area which is closed at the bottom and at the side is advantageously configured from the bottom of the filter and vertically arranged guide elements educated.
- these are guide elements arranged as a wall on the outer surface of the filter, this wall extends from the floor over a partial circumference of the lateral surface.
- This training is a particularly large volume of fuel for the Supply line provided.
- the recordings consist of several guiding elements. Particularly advantageous is the formation of the recordings with at least three guide elements each are arranged to each other in such a way that the supply and return lines center each between the guide elements.
- the structure of the filter is simplified if the intake line is added has a guide element designed as a dome on which the flow line is located centered. Such a mandrel can also accommodate the return line form when trained on the circumference of the return line guide elements Management of the partial flows are arranged.
- the partial streams are particularly easy to generate when recording the return line has a further guide element, which in the return line is arranged.
- the return flow can be divided into two partial flows.
- the guide element As two crossed vertical walls four partial streams generated.
- the filter is particularly easy if it is made of plastic in one piece Injection molding process is made.
- the filter is assembled using molded locking elements further simplified.
- the fuel extraction device 1 shown in FIG. 1 is inserted into an opening 3 of a fuel tank 4 by means of a flange 2.
- a flow line and a return line 5 are connected to the upper side of the flange 2, the flow line being arranged behind the return line 5.
- a profile 7 is arranged on the underside of the flange 2, in which the supply and return line 5 and a fill level sensor (not shown in detail) are arranged.
- This profile is followed by a filter 8 made of POM, which is shown in a partial section along the line BB from FIG.
- the fuel removal device 1 extends in the fuel tank 4 in such a way that the filter 8 of the fuel removal device 1 is arranged in the vicinity of the fuel tank bottom 9.
- the lateral surface 10 of the filter 8 has a lattice structure which forms the filter surface 11 and through which fuel flows from the fuel tank 4 into the filter 8.
- the mesh size of the filter surface 11 is 0.6 mm.
- the filter 8 is closed at the bottom by a bottom 12.
- the return line 5 is led into the filter 8.
- the receptacle 13 for the return line 5 is integrally formed on the bottom 12 and on the filter surface 11.
- the receptacle 13 has guide elements 14-14.3, between which the return line 5 is centered.
- Another guide element 17 of the receptacle 13 is arranged as a vertical wall in the middle of the guide elements 14, 14.1 and inside the return line 5. The guide element 17 causes the return to split into two partial flows.
- the guide element 17 and the guide elements 14, 14.1 direct the partial flow T 1 lying in the plane of the drawing onto the filter surface 11 formed laterally up to the bottom 12.
- the opposite region 18 is closed at the bottom and at the side by the guide elements 14, 14.1, the base 12 and a wall 19 arranged in the lateral surface 10.
- At the bottom 12 there are also locking elements 20 for fixing a fill level sensor, not shown.
- the float of the level sensor which is also not shown, is guided in a shaped element 21. In addition to the guidance, the transmission of sloshing movements of the fuel to the float is prevented.
- cutouts 22 are formed on the filter 8, into which locking elements 23 of an intermediate piece 24 of the fuel removal device 1 engage.
- the filter 8 cut along the line AA from FIG. 1 is shown in FIG.
- the flow line 6 and the return line 5 are arranged in receptacles 13, 15.
- the receptacle 13 of the return line 5 consists of the guide elements 14-14.3.
- the guide element 17 formed on the receptacle 13 divides the fuel of the return line 5 into the partial flows T 1 , T 2 .
- the guide elements 14, 14.1, the guide element 17 and the bottom 12 the partial flow T 1 is directed onto the filter surface 11, which extends over a region of 90 ° of the lateral surface 10 to the bottom 12 of the filter 8.
- the partial flow T 2 flows into the area 18, which is delimited from the bottom 12, the guide elements 14.1, 14.3, which in the lateral surface 10 extends over a region of 270 ° and the guide element 25 downwards and laterally.
- the receptacle 15 which consists of a rib 16 having a mandrel and on which the flow line 6 is centered.
- the receptacle 15 also has contact surfaces 26 on which the feed line 6 is supported at a distance of 3 mm from the floor 12. This ensures that fuel can flow from the area 18 into the feed line 6.
