Claims (5)
- Kühlwasserpumpe für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit innerer Verbrennung, mit einem Gehäuse (1), das ein Lager (2) zur Lagerung einer Pumpenwelle (5) aufweist und mit einem Dichtelement (9) zur Abdichtung des Lagers gegenüber einem das Kühlmedium enthaltenden Arbeitsraum, sowie mit einem Leckageraum (11) zur Aufnahme von Kühlmedium, das durch das Dichtelement (9) hindurchgetreten ist, wobei der Leckageraum (11) in einer Ausnehmung des Gehäuses (1) angeordnet ist und eine Öffnung (13) nach außen aufweist, die durch eine Verschlusseinrichtung teilweise verschlossen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (13) durch eine Folie, vorzugsweise eine Metallfolie, verschlossen ist , die an einer Flanschfläche (14) aufgebracht ist, die bündig mit einer Stirnfläche (12) des Gehäuses (1) ist.
- Kühlwasserpumpe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Folie (15) an der die Öffnung (13) umgebenden Flanschfläche (14) geklebt, gelötet oder geschweißt ist.
- Kühlwasserpumpe nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (13) unterhalb des Lagers (2) angeordnet ist.
- Kühlwasserpumpe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Leckageraum (11) über einen Verbindungskanal mit einem Raum zwischen dem Dichtelement (9) und dem Lager (2) in Verbindung steht.
- Kühlwasserpumpe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Folie (15) im wesentlichen von einem Antriebsrad (16) der Kühlwasserpumpe überdeckt ist.
