L'étrier (16) s'étend sensiblement transversalement à l'extrémité du manche (10) et délimite intérieurement un passage d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur. L'étrier (16) porte sur sa paroi latérale extérieure une plage (22) d'application du bandeau élastique du vêtement. Description

Dispositif pour enfiler un vêtement
La présente invention concerne un dispositif pour enfiler un vêtement sur au moins un membre inférieur d'un être humain, du type comportant un manche muni d'une poignée de préhension, et un étrier de support du vêtement autour d'une ouverture d'introduction du ou de chaque membre infé- rieur, ladite ouverture étant munie d'un bandeau élastique, dans lequel l'étrier s'étend sensiblement transversalement à l'extrémité du manche et délimite intérieurement un passage d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur.
Un tel dispositif est destiné aux personnes handicapées, victimes de douleurs de dos, de lumbago, de sciatique, ainsi qu'aux personnes récemment opérées de l'abdomen et qui ne peuvent pas atteindre l'extrémité de leurs pieds en vue d'y enfiler une chaussette, un bas, une culotte, ou un collant.
Ce dispositif prolonge le bras de la personne handicapée, lui per- mettant ainsi d'enfiler, sur l'extrémité de l'un ou de ses deux membres inférieurs, le vêtement préalablement disposé sur le dispositif.
Un tel dispositif est décrit dans le document US-A-4, 130,226. Dans ce document, les moyens de support du vêtement comportent un anneau rigide articulé à l'extrémité du manche. Des pinces sont prévues pour la re- tenue du vêtement sur l'anneau autour d'une ouverture d'introduction d'un membre inférieur.
Le document G 8627221.7 déposé le 6 octobre 1986 décrit un dispositif voisin dans lequel le vêtement est retenu sur un étrier rigide en forme de C au moyen d'un lien périphérique rapporté dans une gorge extérieure de l'étrier. Le vêtement est ainsi maintenu par pincement entre l'étrier et le lien.
Ces deux dispositifs sont d'un usage incommode, puisqu'ils nécessitent pour le maintien du vêtement sur l'étrier la mise en œuvre de moyens de liaison tels que des pinces ou un lien périphérique. Le recours à de tels moyens allonge la durée de mise en place du vêtement sur le dispositif et risque de causer des dégradations au vêtement. L'invention a pour but de fournir un dispositif pour enfiler un vêtement ne présentant pas les inconvénients mentionnés ci-dessus, qui puisse être utilisé rapidement et simplement pour des vêtements munis d'une ouverture bordée par un bandeau élastique. A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un dispositif pour enfiler un vêtement sur au moins un membre inférieur d'un être humain, du type précité, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier porte sur sa paroi latérale extérieure une plage d'application du bandeau élastique du vêtement, et en ce que ladite plage est bordée sur l'essentiel de sa périphérie du côté opposé au manche par un rebord extérieur de retenue du bandeau élastique sur la plage d'application.
Suivant des modes particuliers de réalisation, le dispositif peut comporter l'une ou plusieurs des caractéristiques suivantes :
- la plage d'application est une surface sensiblement cylindrique dont une génératrice s'étend sensiblement parallèlement à l'axe du manche ;
- la plage d'application s'étend sur une largeur de 2 à 8 cm ;
- la plage d'application s'étend sur une largeur supérieure au double de la hauteur du rebord extérieur ;
- l'étrier comporte un rebord extérieur supplémentaire bordant la plage d'application du côté du manche sur l'essentiel de sa périphérie ;
- l'étrier est un anneau fendu ;
- l'étrier est un anneau fendu incomplet délimitant un contour ouvert ;
- les extrémités en regard de l'anneau fendu incomplet comportent des prolongements recti lignes ; - les extrémités de l'anneau fendu se chevauchent pour délimiter un contour fermé ; et
- l'étrier a une structure déformable adaptée pour permettre une variation de la section du passage d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur. L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, donnée uniquement à titre d'exemple et faite en se référant aux dessins sur lesquels : - la figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un dispositif selon l'invention portant une chaussette ;
- la figure 2 est une vue de dessus d'une variante de réalisation d'un étrier de support entrant dans la structure d'un dispositif selon l'invention ; et
- la figure 3 est une vue partielle en perspective d'encore une variante de réalisation du dispositif selon l'invention.
Le dispositif représenté sur la figure 1 comporte un manche 10 muni, à une extrémité, d'une poignée 12 et, à son autre extrémité, de moyens 14 de support d'un vêtement à enfiler sur un membre inférieur. Ces derniers sont montés de manière amovible à l'extrémité du manche par l'intermédiaire d'une douille taraudée 15 de réception de l'extrémité filetée du manche 10.
Dans l'exemple décrit, la poignée 12 présente la forme d'une langue aplatie, sensiblement incurvée suivant l'axe du manche 10. Cette poignée est destinée à être utilisée également en tant que chausse-pieds afin de faciliter l'introduction du pied dans une chaussure, le manche 10 étant alors tenu dans la main depuis son extrémité filetée.
Les moyens 14 de support du vêtement comportent un étrier 16 s'étendant transversalement à l'axe du manche 10. Celui-ci est délimité par une virole cylindrique 18 fendue longitudinalement. La virole délimite un contour ouvert en forme de fourche, les deux branches de l'étrier ayant leurs extrémités écartées l'une de l'autre. L'étrier définit un passage d'introduction d'un membre inférieur. La douille 15 est disposée dans la partie médiane de la fourche définissant l'étrier.
A l'intérieur, la virole 18 définit une surface lisse cylindrique 20 dont la génératrice s'étend parallèlement à l'axe du manche 10. La surface latérale externe de la virole 18 présente, dans sa partie médiane, une plage périphérique 22 d'application du bandeau élastique du vêtement. Celle-ci est formée par une surface cylindrique de génératrice parallèle à l'axe du manche 10. Dans l'exemple de la figure 1 , une chaussette A est engagée sur l'étrier 16. Elle présente une ouverture supérieure bordée par un bandeau élastique B.
La plage 22 est bordée sur la périphérie inférieure de la virole 18 du côté opposé au manche 10 par un rebord extérieur 24. Ce rebord a une hauteur suffisante pour assurer la retenue du bandeau élastique sur la plage d'application 22.
La hauteur du rebord, mesurée radialement, est avantageusement comprise entre 1 et 4 cm et est par exemple de 2 cm. Le rebord 24 a une section rectangulaire, de sorte qu'il définit, avec la plage d'application 22, un épaulement 26. Son épaisseur est par exemple de 1 cm.
La largeur (mesurée suivant l'axe du manche 10) de la plage d'application 22 du bandeau élastique est avantageusement supérieure au double de la hauteur du rebord inférieur 24. En pratique, elle est comprise entre 2 et 8 cm et est avantageusement égale à 4 cm. Cette largeur correspond à la largeur du bandeau élastique du revêtement à enfiler.
L'étrier 16 comporte un rebord extérieur supplémentaire 28 bordant la plage d'application 22 du bandeau élastique sur l'essentiel de sa périphérie supérieure du côté du manche 10.
Ainsi, la plage d'application 22 est bordée latéralement de part et d'autre par les rebords 24 et 28. Cet agencement confère extérieurement à l'étrier 16 une section en U formant un canal de réception du bandeau élastique du vêtement.
L'étrier 16 est réalisé en un matériau polymère dont la raideur est suffisante pour lui permettre de conserver sa forme générale sous l'action du bandeau élastique B du vêtement. Toutefois, le matériau est choisi avec une élasticité suffisante pour permettre un ecartement des deux branches dé l'étrier lors de l'introduction d'un membre inférieur dans le passage qu'il délimite.
Plus précisément, l'élasticité de l'étrier est choisie de sorte que, pour un diamètre intérieur de 9 cm en l'absence de vêtement, le diamètre de l'étrier est à 5 cm, après l'application du bandeau élastique du vêtement, soit une réduction de l'ordre de 40 % de son diamètre initial. Avantageusement, l'élasticité du matériau est telle que la section de passage de l'étrier est réduite de 20 à 60 % lors de la mise en place du vêtement.
Afin d'utiliser le dispositif représenté sur la figure 1 , le manche 10 étant solidarisé à l'étrier 16, on introduit le vêtement à enfiler, par exemple une chaussette, sur la surface externe de l'étrier 16. A cet effet, on engage celui-ci dans l'ouverture du vêtement en disposant le bandeau élastique bordant l'ouverture sur la plage d'application 22.
On conçoit que la hauteur du rebord 24 assure une retenue axiale du vêtement sur l'étrier 16.
Pour enfiler le vêtement ainsi disposé sur le dispositif, l'utilisateur saisit celui-ci par la poignée 12. Il enfile l'étrier 16 portant le vêtement à l'extrémité de l'un de ses pieds. Il remonte ensuite le dispositif par traction sur la poignée jusqu'à ce qu'il puisse saisir l'extrémité du vêtement avec ses mains. Il extrait alors l'étrier 16 du bandeau élastique du vêtement en agrandissant manuellement l'ouverture du vêtement afin d'en dégager l'étrier.
On conçoit que, lors du passage de l'étrier 16 au niveau de la cheville de l'utilisateur, les deux branches de celui-ci s'écartent pour permettre le passage des malléoles.
En outre, l'élasticité du bandeau bordant l'ouverture du vêtement permet la déformation de celui-ci dans sa partie formant pont reliant les extrémités des deux branches de l'étrier afin d'augmenter la section du passage pour l'introduction du membre inférieur. Sur la figure 2 est représentée une variante de réalisation de l'étrier d'un dispositif selon l'invention. Cet étrier, comme précédemment, est formé par une virole fendue en forme de fourche portant dans sa partie médiane une douille de solidarisation au manche 10.
Dans sa partie courante, la virole définit un arc de cercle 48 de rayon R s'étendant sur une ouverture de 180°. Chaque branche de l'étrier est prolongée, à son extrémité, par un tronçon rectiligne noté 50. Ces deux prolongements rectilignes 50 s'étendent parallèlement l'un à l'autre et se relient tangentiellement à l'arc de cercle 48 délimitant la partie courante de l'étrier. Les rebords 24 et 28 s'étendent sur les prolongements 50.
On conçoit que 1a présence des prolongements rectiiignes 50 assure une retenue efficace du vêtement enfilé sur l'étrier 16, le bandeau élastique étant maintenu largement ouvert.
Sur la figure 3 est représentée une autre variante d'un étrier, noté 100 , destiné à supporter un vêtement en étant introduit dans une ouverture de celui-ci bordée par un bandeau élastique.
Dans cette variante de réalisation, l'étrier 100 est formé par une vi- rôle cylindrique fendue formant un anneau complet délimitant un contour fermé. Ainsi, les deux extrémités notées 102 et 104 de la virole se chevauchent.
Comme dans les modes de réalisation précédents, la virole définit extérieurement une plage 106 d'application du bandeau élastique. Elle est bordée à sa périphérie inférieure par un rebord 108 de retenue du bandeau et dans sa partie supérieure par un rebord 110. Ce dernier délimite avec le rebord 108 un canal de réception du bandeau élastique.
Afin de permettre un chevauchement des extrémités de la virole, l'extrémité 104 reçue à l'intérieur de l'anneau est dépourvue de rebords 108 et 110, de sorte que la plage 106 peut s'appliquer exactement contre la surface latérale intérieure notée 112 de l'étrier.
L'étrier 100 étant réalisé dans un polymère élastique, on comprend que la section du passage défini par celui-ci peut varier en fonction de la contrainte appliquée par le bandeau élastique, et en fonction des forces appliquées par le membre inférieur lors de son introduction dans l'étrier.
Lors de la déformation de l'étrier, les extrémités 102 et 104 se chevauchant glissent l'une sur l'autre, de sorte que, malgré les variations de diamètre, l'étrier 100 définit toujours un contour fermé, sensiblement circulaire. On conçoit qu'un tel dispositif peut être utilisé avec des étriers de diamètres différents afin d'enfiler soit des chaussettes, dont l'ouverture est réduite, soit des bas, dont l'ouverture est plus importante, ou encore des culottes ou des collants, lesquels présentent une large ouverture permettant l'engagement des deux membres inférieurs.
A cet effet, un même manche 10 peut être utilisé avec des étriers de diamètres différents. Ainsi, un même manche 10 est avantageusement livré avec un jeu de trois étriers dont les diamètres sont respectivement de 9 cm, 18 cm et 27 cm.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1.- Dispositif pour enfiler un vêtement à maintien élastique sur au moins un membre inférieur d'un être humain, du type comportant un manche
(10) muni d'une poignée de préhension (12), et un étrier (16) de support du vêtement autour d'une ouverture d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur, ladite ouverture étant munie d'un bandeau élastique, dans lequel l'étrier (16) s'étend sensiblement transversalement à l'extrémité du manche
(10) et délimite intérieurement un passage d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (16) porte sur sa paroi laté- raie extérieure une plage (22 ; 106) d'application du bandeau élastique du vêtement, et en ce que ladite plage (22 ; 106) est bordée sur l'essentiel de sa périphérie du côté opposé au manche (10) par un rebord extérieur (24 ;
108) de retenue du bandeau élastique sur la plage d'application (22 ; 106).
2.- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 , caractérisé en ce que la plage d'application (22 ; 106) est une surface sensiblement cylindrique dont une génératrice s'étend sensiblement parallèlement à l'axe du manche (10).
3.- Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la plage d'application (22 ; 106) s'étend sur une largeur de 2 à 8 cm.
4.- Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la plage d'application (22 ; 106) s'étend sur une largeur supérieure au double de la hauteur du rebord extérieur (108).
5.- Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (16 ; 100) comporte un rebord extérieur supplémentaire (28 ; 110) bordant la plage d'application (22 ; 106) du côté du manche (10) sur l'essentiel de sa périphérie.
6.- Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (16 ; 100) est un anneau fendu.
7.- Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (16) est un anneau fendu incomplet délimitant un contour ouvert.
8.- Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que les extrémités en regard de l'anneau fendu incomplet comportent des prolongements rectilignes (50).
9.- Dispositif selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que les extrémités (102 ; 104) de l'anneau fendu se chevauchent pour délimiter un contour fermé.
10.- Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'étrier (16 ; 100) a une structure déformable adaptée pour permettre une variation de la section du passage d'introduction du ou de chaque membre inférieur.
