Abstract
Description
Erfindungsgemäß werden folgende Schritte für das Verfahren vorgeschlagen:
Anforderungsdaten werden bereits erzeugt, wenn die Frankiereinrichtung im vorab ihres Gebrauches das Laden eines Guthabens durchführt. Es ist vorteilhaft, wenn die Frankiereinrichtung beim Ladevorgang zusätzlich ein Abrechnen der gewünschten Dienstleistung des Datenupdates für eine Installation von Stempelbilddaten durchführt.
Der zur automatischen Installation übermittelte Datensatz kann ein kundenspezifisches Werbeklischee bzw. ein aus einer Anzahl an Werbeklischees ausgewähltes Werbeklischee u.a. Kundendaten enthalten, wenn dies beim Verkauf vereinbart worden ist.
Dieselbe oder eine dritte Datenzentrale kann als eine Nachladezentrale für Tariftabellen und für weitere Informationen ausgebildet sein.

Der Arbeitsspeicher RAM 93 dient zur flüchtigen Zwischenspeicherung von Zwischenergebnissen. Der nichtflüchtige Speicher NVM 94 dient zur nichtflüchtigen Zwischenspeicherung von Daten, beispielsweise von statistischen Daten, die nach Kostenstellen geordnet sind. Der Kalender/Uhrenbaustein 95 enthält ebenfalls adressierbare aber nichtflüchtige Speicherbereiche zur nichtflüchtigen Zwischenspeicherung von Zwischenergebnissen oder auch bekannten Programmteilen (beispielsweise für den DES-Algorithmus). Es ist vorgesehen, daß die Steuereinrichtung 1 mit der Chipkarten-Schreib/Leseeinheit 70 verbunden ist, wobei der Mikroprozessor 91 der Steuereinrichtung 1 beispielsweise dazu programmiert ist, die Nutzdaten N aus dem Speicherbereich einer Chipkarte 49 zu deren Anwendung in entsprechende Speicherbereiche der Frankiermaschine zu laden. Eine in einen Einsteckschlitz 72 der Chipkarten-Schreib/Leseeinheit 70 eingesteckte erste Chipkarte 49 gestattet ein Nachladen eines Datensatzes in die Frankiermaschine für mindestens eine Anwendung. Die Chipkarte 49 enthält beispielsweise die Nutzdaten zum Einstellen einer Kostenstelle.
Es ist vorgesehen, daß der ASIC 90 eine serielle Schnittstellenschaltung 98 zu einem im Poststrom vorschalteten Gerät, eine serielle Schnittstellenschaltung 96 zu den Sensoren und Aktoren der Druckeinrichtung 2, eine serielle Schnittstellenschaltung 97 zur Drucksteuerelektronik 16 für den Druckkopf 4 und eine serielle Schnittstellenschaltung 99 zu einem der Druckeinrichtung 20 im Poststrom nachgeschalteten Gerät aufweist. Der DE 197 11 997 ist eine Ausführungsvariante für die Peripherieschnittstelle entnehmbar, welche für mehrere Peripheriegeräte (Stationen) geeignet ist. Sie trägt den Titel: Anordnung zur Kommunikation zwischen einer Basisstation und weiteren Stationen einer Postbearbeitungsmaschine und zu deren Notabschaltung. Die Schnittstellenschaltung 96 gekoppelt mit der in der Maschinenbasis befindlichen Schnittstellenschaltung 14 stellt mindestens eine Verbindung zu den Sensoren 6, 7, 17 und zu den Aktoren, beispielsweise zum Antriebsmotor 15 für die Walze 11 und zu einer Reinigungs- und Dichtstation RDS 40 für den Tintenstrahldruckkopf 4, sowie zum Labelgeber 50 in der Maschinenbasis her. Die prinzipielle Anordnung und das Zusammenspiel zwischen Tintenstrahldruckkopf 4 und der RDS 40 sind der DE 197 26 642 C2 entnehmbar, mit dem Titel: Anordnung zur Positionierung eines Tintenstrahldruckkopfes und einer Reinigungs- und Dichtvorrichtung.
Die Chipkarten-Schreib/Leseeinheit 70 besteht aus einem zugehörigen mechanischen Träger für die Mikroprozessorkarte und Kontaktiereinheit 74. Letztere gestattet eine sichere mechanische Halterung der Chipkarte in Lese-Position und eindeutige Signalisierung des Erreichens der Leseposition der Chipkarte in der Kontaktierungseinheit. Die Mikroprozessorkarte mit dem Mikroprozessor 75 besitzt eine einprogrammierte Lesefähigkeit für alle Arten von Speicherkarten bzw. Chipkarten. Das Interface zur Frankiermaschine ist eine serielle Schnittstelle gemäß RS232-Standard. Die Datenübertragungsrate beträgt min. 1,2 K Baud. Das Einschalten der Stromversorgung erfolgt mittels einem an der Hauptplatine angeschlossenen Schalter 71. Nach Einschalten der Stromversorgung wird ein Selbsttest ausgeführt. Dabei kann ein Erfordernis zur automatischen Installation festgestellt werden. Nach der Installation erfolgt eine Bereitschaftsmeldung.
Das Modem 83 ist vor allem zur Guthabennachladung vorteilhaft, wird aber erfindungsgemäß ebenfalls eingesetzt, um weitere Nutz- und Kundendaten zu laden. Gewöhnlich werden die durchzuführenden Nachladeaufgaben aufgeteilt, so daß ein Teil per Modem und ein anderer Teil per Chipkarte durchgeführt werden kann. Es ist auch ein gemischtes Verfahren möglich, welches zugleich mit einer Chipkarte und mit einer Voice-Kommunikation per Telefon arbeitet. Letztere erlaubt die Guthabennachladung. Die benötigten Druckbilddaten sind natürlich nicht per Voice übermittelbar, sondern sind in der Chipkarte gespeichert, welche an den Kunden versand wird. Letzterer muß auf deren Empfang warten.
Es ist besonders vorteilhaft, wenn die erstmalige Installation per Modem ermöglicht wird, weil dann die Wartezeiten minimal sind und weil die automatische Installation auch mit einer Guthabennachladung gekoppelt werden kann.

- zweite Kommunikation, mit Kommunikation 330 der Frankiermaschine mit der Datenzentrale, umfassend eine Übermittlung einer Information von der Frankiermaschine zur Datenzentrale, welche auf die gespeicherten Nutz- und Kundendaten bezogen ist, mit Kommunikation der Datenzentrale mit der Frankiermaschine, umfassend einen Schritt 230 zum Empfangen und Prüfen der Information in der Datenzentrale mittels einer aus den Nutz- und Kundendaten generierten Vergleichsinformation und umfassend einen Schritt 235 zum Senden einer OK-Meldung an die Frankiermaschine und mit Empfangen 335 einer OK-Meldung in der Frankiermaschine und Abgabe einer Bereitschaftsmeldung.
- die Maschinennummer, die auf der Postkarte schon aufgedruckt bzw. aufgeklebt sein kann,
- die Adresse des Aufstellortes der Maschine mit Postleitzahl (PLZ),
- das vom Käufer bzw. Bediener aus einer Vielzahl ausgewählte eine gewünschte StandardKlischée.
Wenn der Bediener (Käufer) durch Einschalten seine Frankiermaschine startet (Schrift 500) und im Ergebnis eines Selbsttestes (Schrift 508) im Abfrageschrift 509 ein Erfordernis erkannt wird, dann läuft in der Frankiermaschine eine automatische Installationsroutine ab. Die benötigten Nutzdaten sind durch die Postbeförderervorschriften vorgeschrieben und umfassen mindestens die Druckbilddaten für einen standortspezifischen Städtestempel und einen carrier-, bereichs- oder länderspezifischen Wertstempel. In einem ersten Schritt 520 der automatischen Installationsroutine erfolgt ein Anruf des Bedieners bei der Datenzentrale und Übermitteln des Nummerncodes per Voice-Verfahren. Alternativ kann auch ein abgeschickter Brief den Nummerncode übermitteln.
Im Grenzfall wird zunächst im Schritt 410 in der Datenzentrale nur der Spiegeldatensatz gespeichert. Alle weiteren in den Phasen b), c) und d) erfaßten, gespeicherten und bereitgestellten Kundendaten kommen aber erst nach dem Kauf der Frankiermaschine bei der ersten Kommunikation per Modem hinzu (Schritt 420, 421).
- erste Kommunikation der Datenzentrale mit einer Frankiermaschine, umfassend ein Versenden (Schritt 425) des Datenträgers (49) mit den angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten an die Frankiermaschine,
- Durchführung eines Schrittes (525) zum Laden und Speichern der angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten in der Frankiermaschine und
- zweite Kommunikation (Schritt 530) der Frankiermaschine mit der Datenzentrale, umfassend eine Übermittlung einer Information von der Frankiermaschine zur Datenzentrale, welche auf die gespeicherten Nutz- und Kundendaten bezogen ist.
Claims (17)
- Verfahren zur automatischen Installation von Frankiereinrichtungen, in die während der Herstellung Maschinendaten eingespeichert wurden, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Schritte:a) Speichern eines den in die Frankiereinrichtung eingeprägten Maschinendaten entsprechenden Spiegeldatensatz zugeordnet einem Nummerncode in der Datenzentrale,b) Übermitteln von erfaßten Kundendaten einer verkauften Frankiereinrichtung zur Datenzentrale,c) Speichern der Kundendaten in der Datenzentrale zugeordnet zum Nummerncode,d) Bereitstellen eines maschinen- und kundenspezifischen Datensatzes in der Datenzentrale zugeordnet zum Nummerncode, wobei der Datensatz mindestens Daten für einen spezifischen Stempel mit temporären und lokalen Daten umfaßt, unde) Übermitteln des Datensatzes zum Frankierort nach einem Empfang entsprechender Anforderungsdaten oder Eingaben.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes an eine am Frankierort aufgestellte Frankiereinrichtung erfolgt.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes per Modem erfolgt, wobei die Anforderungsdaten in der Frankiereinrichtung gebildet und per Modem zur Datenzentrale übermittelt werden.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes an einen Bediener einer Frankiereinrichtung am Frankierort per Datenträger erfolgt.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes durch eine Voice-Kommunikation mit der Datenzentrale begleitet wird.
- Verfahren, nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Datenzentrale, die als spezielle Servicezentrale mit Datenupdate-Server (DS) und Datenbank (DB) ausgebildet ist, auch weitere Konfigurationsdaten, Informationen und/oder Portogebührentabellendaten übermittelt.
- Verfahren, nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes im Zusammenhang mit einer Guthabennachladung erfolgt.
- Verfahren, nach den Ansprüchen 4 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des kundenspezifischen Datensatzes durch Versand des Datenträgers erfolgt, wenn zuvor der Nummerncode zur Datenzentrale übermittelt wurde.
- Verfahren, nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Übermitteln des Datensatzes per Modem erfolgt, wobei in der Frankiereinrichtung eine Meldung an den Bediener gebildet wird, zur Eingabe von weiteren Daten, welche dann per Modem zur Datenzentrale übermittelt werden, um einen kundenspezifischen Datensatz anzufordern.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenn die Frankiereinrichtung im vorab ihres Gebrauches das Laden eines Guthabens durchführt, zusätzlich Anforderungsdaten erzeugt, um einen kundenspezifischen Datensatz anzufordern.
- Verfahren, nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, gekennzeichnet durch die Schritte:erste Kommunikation,mit Kommunikation der Frankiermaschine mit der Datenzentrale, umfassend ein Senden (320) der Anforderungsdaten, um die Nutz- und Kundendaten von der Datenzentrale anzufordern,mit Kommunikation der Datenzentrale mit der Frankiermaschine, umfassend ein Empfangen (220) der Anforderungsdaten in der Datenzentrale und umfassend ein Senden (225) der angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten an die Frankiermaschine,mit Kommunikation, umfassend einen Schritt (325) zum Empfangen und Speichern der angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten in der Frankiermaschine, sowiezweite Kommunikation,mit Kommunikation (330) der Frankiermaschine mit der Datenzentrale, umfassend eine Übermittlung einer Information von der Frankiermaschine zur Datenzentrale, welche auf die gespeicherten Nutz- und Kundendaten bezogen ist,mit Kommunikation der Datenzentrale mit der Frankiermaschine, umfassend einen Schritt (230) zum Empfangen und Prüfen der Information in der Datenzentrale mittels einer aus den Nutz- und Kundendaten generierten Vergleichsinformation und umfassend einen Schritt (235) zum Senden einer OK-Meldung an die Frankiermaschine,und mit Empfangen (335) einer OK-Meldung in der Frankiermaschine und Abgabe einer Bereitschaftsmeldung.
- Verfahren, nach Anspruch 4, gekennzeichnet, durch die Schritte:erste Kommunikation der Datenzentrale mit einer Frankiermaschine, umfassend ein Versenden (425) des Datenträgers mit den angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten an die Frankiermaschine,Durchführung eines Schrittes (525) zum Laden und Speichern der angeforderten Nutz- und Kundendaten in der Frankiermaschine undzweite Kommunikation (530) der Frankiermaschine mit der Datenzentrale, umfassend eine Übermittlung einer Information von der Frankiermaschine zur Datenzentrale, welche auf die gespeicherten Nutz- und Kundendaten bezogen ist.
- Anordnung, zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Prozessor (91) oder ein Sicherheitsmodul (100) einer Frankiereinrichtung programmiert ist,einen Selbsttest durchzuführen, um festzustellen, ob eine automatische Installation durchzuführen oder im Falle einer bereits früher erfolgten Installation nicht durchzuführen ist, ein Laden eines kundenspezifischen Datensatzes in einen nichtflüchtigen Speicher (94) vorzunehmen undeine Bereitschaftsmeldung zum Frankieren abzugeben.
- Anordnung, nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Prozessor (91) oder ein Sicherheitsmodul (100) einer Frankiereinrichtung programmiert ist, Anforderungsdaten zum Laden zu bilden und zu senden, um die Nutz- und Kundendaten von der Datenzentrale anzufordern, letztere zu Empfangen und zu Speichern, und eine zusätzliche Übermittlung einer Information von der Frankiermaschine zur Datenzentrale durchzuführen, welche auf die gespeicherten Nutz- und Kundendaten bezogen ist, und zum Empfangen einer OK-Meldung vor Abgabe der Bereitschaftsmeldung.
- Anordnung, nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Prozessor (91) oder ein Sicherheitsmodul (100) der Frankiereinrichtung programmiert ist, das Laden eines kundenspezifischen Datensatzes aus einer Chipkarte (49) und Speichern im nichtflüchtigen Speicher (94) der Frankiereinrichtung vorzunehmen.
- Anordnung, nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Laden durch eine Voice-Kommunikation mit der Datenzentrale begleitet wird, wobei durch die Datenzentrale eine Information überprüft wird, die auf den in der Frankiermaschine gespeicherten kundenspezifischen Datensatz bezogen ist.
- Anordnung, nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Frankiereinrichtung eine Frankiermaschine mit einem internen Drucker oder ein PC-Frankierer Frankiermaschine mit einem externen Drucker ist.
