Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for sucking in and admixing an additive into a pipeline through which liquid flows.
- Such devices serve, for example, liquid bath additives from a Storage containers are metered into the water jet of a shower.
- DE-OS 22 61 674 it is known an additive from a reservoir to suck in a suction section, which works on the principle of the Venturi tube works.
- There a free jet air chamber is used to prevent backflow to prevent water from entering the mains.
- the disadvantage is that this device only works with certain shower heads.
- a device by means of which a liquid additive in a domestic water pipe is fed is described in the published patent application DE 36 14 951 A1.
- the addition of the additive takes place here with the aid of gravity, so that the additional container must always be located above the water pipe. Desirable is an invisible attachment, e.g. below a sink.
- Another disadvantage is that the additive is not mixed well done with the water. Because of the different densities and viscosities the two phases flow practically unmixed through the pipeline.
- the invention is based on the problem of a device for suction and Specify admixture of an additive in a pipeline through which liquid flows, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned and in particular a good one Mixing of the additive with the water is allowed.
- the suction section is constructed on the principle of the Venturi tube, that is it consists of a conically narrowing section, which then follows expanded again, the inlet cone being longer than the outlet cone. Thereby there is an acceleration of the flow in the narrowed area, the a pressure drop in the liquid compared to the pressure of the undisturbed flowing Fluid. This negative pressure is just behind the constriction point the biggest.
- an intake opening which with a reservoir is connected, which contains the additive.
- the reservoir is connected to the suction section via a pipe which is a Shut-off device includes a throttle valve that is used for metering or is used to stop the addition of additives. The check valve prevents water running back into the reservoir. Through the mixing device uniform mixing of the two components is achieved.
- the mixing device is expediently integrated in the connector, so that there is a compact device that is used overall in the pipeline can be.
- the mixing device can be placed in the pipeline can be integrated.
- the mixing device is a separate component, which is to be inserted into the pipeline after the connector. It is it is also possible to retrofit the entire facility with existing systems.
- the connector with the mixing device or the separate mixing device is designed as a compact built-in part, which at both ends of the Suction section has thread, which is a screw connection to the pipeline enable.
- a good mixing can be achieved if the mixing device as sieve-like wire mesh is formed. Such wire meshes lead to one Redirecting the flow and thus mixing the two phases.
- the mixing device has more than one blade Rotary propeller is formed.
- the rotating propeller is driven by the flowing liquid set in rotation and leads to a strong deflection of the flow, whereby a good mixing of the additive with the water is achieved.
- a particularly good mixing is achieved when several such rotary propellers are arranged one behind the other in the pipeline. Turn neighboring propellers opposite each other. The direction of rotation is determined by the profile shape of the Propeller blades set.
- a very simple, but particularly effective mixing device is as a flow orifice formed with several integrated flow channels.
- the flow aperture is fixed in the pipeline.
- each flow channel is particularly preferred rotated relative to the line by a certain angle, preferably 30 ° is. This forced diversion results in intensive mixing of the components achieved.
- the flow channels are axially symmetrical arranged with respect to the line center line. It can also be provided that the device arranged several one behind the other, with flow channels provided flow orifices, with converging and diverging Flow orifices are arranged alternately. This way the flow distracted several times in different directions, which automatically mixing of the water with the additive occurs.
- a particularly good function is achieved with mixing devices, which act as swirling bodies with a spiral middle section and radially outwards pointing deflecting surfaces of different lengths are formed.
- mixing devices which act as swirling bodies with a spiral middle section and radially outwards pointing deflecting surfaces of different lengths are formed.
- Swirling bodies are also referred to as static mixers.
- the formation of foam can be achieved when a second, with the outside air suction section connected via a check valve is provided, which expediently on the connector, the first suction section in Flow direction is arranged. Alternatively, it can also be used as a separate, be formed in the pipeline component.
- This suction section can also contain a nozzle-like constriction, due to the negative pressure Outside air is sucked in, which is mixed with the liquid and becomes a Blistering leads.
- the check valve prevents the liquid from escaping to the outside when the water supply is switched off.
- a tap at the end of the line which has a second mixing device. It can be for example, about the shower head that is inside Contains flow baffles just before water leaks stir again. If outside air was sucked in beforehand, there is another foaming of the additive in the shower head.
- the application of the invention is not for use in a shower limited. It is also possible to use the device with a sink, so that liquid soap is automatically added when washing hands.
- the throttle valve can be optically integrated into the fitting.
- the additive supply is switched on and off either via the throttle valve or by a separate operating lever, which is also part of the valve can be.
- the device is either installed at a pipe connection point or the The pipeline is cut open and threaded on both sides. To this The device has threads on both sides of the suction section for this purpose on.
- the device shows a device according to the invention in a sectional view, which is connected to a pipeline 44.
- the device includes a connector 45 with a suction section 1 which is in the direction of the arrow from a water flow is flowed through.
- the suction section 1 has an inlet cone 2 on the inside diameter of the pipe 44 to the cross section of a Nozzle bore 3 tapers, the amount of water accelerating accordingly becomes.
- An outlet cone 4 is then arranged downstream, the Length is shorter than the length of the inlet cone 2.
- the line 44 is expanded again to the original cross section.
- the end of the narrowest cross section between the nozzle bore 3 and the Outlet cone 4 has a suction opening 5.
- the suction opening 5 is a bore with an internal thread into which a check valve 6 is screwed is.
- the check valve 6 consists of an upper valve body 7, the via a sealing ring 8 with seals 9, 10 with a lower valve body 11 connected is.
- the upper valve body 7 has a central bore 12 which leads from the outlet cone 4 to a valve interior 13.
- a sealing element 14 is arranged to be vertically movable, which in the idle state turned off water supply from a compression spring 15 against the lower end of Valve interior 13 is pressed and closes it.
- the compression spring 15 is supported on the one hand at the upper end of the valve interior 13 and on the other hand on the sealing element 14, which has a blind hole-like inner bore 16, in which the compression spring 15 is partially accommodated.
- the lower end of the Sealing element 14 is designed as a conical tip, which in one lower valve body 11 trained valve seat 17 can be placed and the lower Valve body 11 closes. With the sealing element 14 lying thereon, the bore 18, which leads to a regulating valve 19, closed. With the regulating valve 19 can the connection between holes 18 and 20 closed or completely or partially opened.
- the regulating valve 19 is screwed into a valve body 21, which contains the bore 20 and at its lower end in a reservoir 22 opens.
- the storage container 22 is filled with an additive 23, formed in the illustrated embodiment as a liquid soap is.
- the reservoir 22 can be unscrewed and refilled.
- the regulating valve 19 designed as a regulating screw 24 seals completely screwed state the bore 20 upwards. If the regulating screw 24 is unscrewed, the threaded shaft 25 gives the regulating screw 24 the upper end of the bore 20 free, so that a line connection between the bore 20 and the bore 18 is made.
- the outlet cone 4 becomes the additive 23 together with that in the main line flowing water transported on.
- the amount of additive sucked in 23 is by screwing the regulating screw 24 in or out set.
- the sealing element 14 lowers again Valve seat 17, so that the connection to the reservoir 22 is interrupted becomes.
- the sealing element 14 is again by the force of the compression spring 15 pressed down. This prevents water from the main pipe run through the bore 18 into the reservoir 22 and the additive 23 can be diluted.
- a mixing device 35 is also shown, for mixing the Water with the sucked additive serves and on the following still is discussed in more detail.
- This is directly in the connector 45 behind the Suction section 1 used and firmly held there.
- the entire facility forms a compact insert part which is completely inserted into line 44, and has all components including the mixing device. Possibly the suction section can be extended a little for this, too required, it can also expand a little further.
- Corresponding threaded sections are provided at the ends of the connecting piece 45.
- Fig. 2 shows a mixing device designed as a wire mesh 27, which inside of the connector 45 or the pipe 44 downstream behind the Suction section 1 is arranged.
- the wire mesh can also be a Act wire mesh or a sieve with small openings, the Grid diameter is typically one millimeter.
- the wire mesh 27 is arranged in a fixed position and represents a flow resistance, which is used for deflection the flow leads, so that a better mixing of the water with the sucked Additive 23 is achieved.
- the wire mesh is for easy assembly held in a small piece of pipe, which in turn is firmly in the pipe is used as a separate component or in the connector.
- FIG. 3 Another embodiment of the invention is shown in Fig. 3, one a mixing device designed as a rotary propeller is used.
- the Rotary propeller held in a short piece of pipe that goes into the connector or the pipeline is used.
- the different Rotation directions are achieved by the profile of the propeller blades 30.
- the propeller blades 30 are arranged on a central hub 31, which with a bracket 32 arranged on the inner tube wall 33 are connected.
- the oppositely running propellers cause a particularly strong swirl and mixing of the flow, also in the peripheral areas.
- FIG. 4 shows an embodiment in which several flow orifices 34 and 35 can be used with internal flow channels 36.
- the flow orifices 34, 35 are accommodated in a stationary manner within the connection piece, you can e.g. are pressed in and are firmly attached to the inner wall 37 connected. There is also the possibility that the flow orifices in are held on a short piece of pipe, e.g. inserted into the pipeline can. They have axially symmetrical arrangements with respect to the line center line Flow channels that are rotated by about 30 ° with respect to the center line are.
- FIG. 5 shows the flow orifices 34, 35 described above in a section Side view.
- the flow channels 36 rotated by approx. 30 °. Alternate converging and divergent flow orifices each other so that the flow alternates outwards or inwards is redirected.
- the swirling body 38 consists of a spiral middle section 39, on the radially outward deflecting surfaces 40 are arranged, which are of different lengths and partially in contact with the inner wall of the part in which they are arranged. If the liquid mixture flows through the swirling body 38, a particularly occurs strong turbulence and thus an intensive mixing of the two components.
- FIG. 7 shows a dispensing device arranged at the end of the pipeline in one Shown sectional view, which is designed as a shower head 41.
- the shower head 41 has a plurality of flow deflecting surfaces 42 in its interior, one of which Flow deflection by up to 180 °.
- In the pipeline 44 was by a suction section, not shown (which is also preferably on the connector 45) outside air is sucked in, and this suction section is the same as the suction section shown in Fig. 1 with check valve 6 is. In this way, a certain amount of air is sucked in from the outside and mixed with the flow. If this water-air mixture in the shower head 41 arrives, under the action of the additive 23 Foaming. One then enters through the outlet opening 43 of the shower head 41 ready-to-use water-foam mixture so that there is thorough mixing by the user by hand.
