Claims (5)
- Broyeur, comportant au moins une piste annulaire à axe horizontal (14), au moins un rouleau (16) apte à rouler sur ladite piste, des moyens pour presser le rouleau sur la piste, et des moyens pour déplacer la matière d'un bord à l'autre de la piste de telle sorte qu'elle passe plusieurs fois sous le rouleau avant d'être évacuée, l'écartement entre le rouleau (16) et la piste (14) décroissant dans le sens de progression de la matière à broyer, caractérisé en ce que ledit écartement entre le rouleau (16) et la piste (14) décroít depuis le bord de la piste situé du côté de l'alimentation en matière à broyer jusqu'à une distance de ce bord au moins égale à 80 % de la largeur de la piste, et en ce que cet écart croít ensuite rapidement pour former une zone de décompression (19) du côté de l'évacuation de la matière broyée, et en ce que la piste (14) est constituée par un anneau solidaire d'un tambour coaxial (10) qui forme une chambre d'évacuation (15) sur un côté de la piste, et un barrage annulaire (17) est prévu à l'extrémité de la chambre d'évacuation la plus éloignée de la piste pour maintenir, dans ladite chambre, une couche de matière broyée, dont l'épaisseur est telle qu'elle atteint pratiquement le bord du rouleau dans le plan du bord adjacent de la piste.
- Broyeur selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, dans le plan contenant l'axe du rouleau et de la piste, l'angle (α) formé par la piste et le rouleau dans la zone de décompression (19) est inférieur à 50°.
- Broyeur selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que la piste (14) est cylindrique et le rouleau est formé d'au moins deux parties tronconiques, une première partie (16a, 16b) dont le diamètre croit depuis son extrémité située côté alimentation jusqu'à une distance de cette extrémité au moins égale à 80 % de la longueur axiale du rouleau, et une seconde partie (16c) de diamètre décroissant, située à son autre extrémité.
- Broyeur selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisé en ce que la piste est formée d'au moins deux surfaces tronconiques, une première surface (14a, 14b) dont le diamètre décroít depuis son bord situé côté alimentation jusqu'à une distance de ce bord au moins égale à 80 % de la largeur de la pisté, et une seconde surface (14c) de diamètre croissant, adjacente à son autre bord.
- Broyeur selon la revendication 1, 2, 3 ou 4, caractérisé en ce que l'axe du rouleau est incliné par rapport à l'axe de la piste d'une angle (β) inférieur à 5 °.
