Description
Claims (11)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Beschichtung zur Absorption der bei der Kernreaktion radioaktiver Materialien entstehenden Neutronen, wobei wenigstens ein Teil eines aus dem Basismaterial bestehenden Abschirmelementes an seinen dafür vorbestimmten Oberflächen in einem Bor enthaltenden Dispersionsbad mit einer Bomickelschicht versehen wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass während des Beschichtungsvorganges wenigstens zeitweise eine Relativbewegung zwischen der jeweils zu beschichtenden Oberfläche und dem Dispersionsbad erzeugt wird und dass ein Dispersionsbad mit Bor in Etementarform verwendet wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Relativbewegung durch Bewegung des zu beschichtenden Elementes erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die jeweils zu beschichtende Oberfläche nach oben weisend im Dispersionsbad angeordnet wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schichtbildung chemisch erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schichtbildung elektrolytisch erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Schicht von einer Dicke von 350 bis 500 µm erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Bor mit mehr als 20 Vol.-% in die Nickelmatrix eingebaut wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Bor mit mehr als 40 Vol.-% in die Nickelmatrix eingebaut wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Dispersionsbad während des Beschichtungsvorganges wenigstens zeitweise durchmischt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren in einer Glaswanne durchgeführt wird.
- Abschirmelement hergestellt nach dem Verfahren nach wenigstens einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dieses aus einem anorganischen Basismaterial mit einer darauf ausgebildeten Bor/Nickel-Schicht besteht, wobei in der Beschichtung Bor mit mehr als 20 Vol.-% enthalten ist.
