Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Nahrungsmittelpackungskette.
Es ist bereits bekannt, getrocknetes Gemüse in Kartons an Großverbraucher zu liefern. Durch das Trocknen des Gemüses werden Lagerraum und Transportgewicht eingespart. Der Verbraucher entnimmt die benötigte Menge Nahrungsmittel und weicht diese ein, um das entzogene Wasser wieder zuzuführen. Nach dem Rehydrieren wird das Gemüse gegebenenfalls noch gegart. Dieses Vorgehen ist wegen der erforderlichen Mengenabmessung, des Einbringens der Portion in das Wasserbad und des anschließenden Trennens vom Bad aufwendig.
Es ist auch schon bekannt, das dehydrierte Gemüse in abgemessenen Mengen in Beuteln abzufüllen. Es erfordert jedoch das Aufreißen des Beutels, das Einfüllen in einen mit Wasser gefüllten Behälter und das anschließende Trennen des rehydrierten Gemüses vom Wasser. Bei dieser Methode ist das rehydrierte Produkt schwer vom Wasser zu trennen: die Trennung ist zeitaufwendig und die Gefahr der Verunreinigung und des Produktverlustes ist gegeben.
Schließlich ist schon eine Nahrungsmittelpackung mit einem eine Füllung getrockneter Nahrungsmittel aufweisenden, flüssigkeitsdurchlässigen und ein Quellen und/oder Kochen der getrockneten Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglichenden Beutel bekannt, z.B. aus FR 1 345 205. Durch einfaches Plazieren des Beutels in einem ausreichend dimensionierten Wasserbad und anschließendes Quellen oder Kochen erhält man eine genau abgestimmte Nahrungsmittelmenge frisch für die weitere Zubereitung. Beeinträchtigungen bruchempfindlicher Nahrungsmittel können weitgehend vermieden werden. Außerdem kann das Nahrungsmittel in den Beuteln in genau portionierter Form zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die bisherige Teilmengenentnahme aus Kartons oder Beuteln entfällt.
Die Beutel sind jeweils mit einer vorgegebenen Menge Nahrungsmittel befüllt. Wenn größere Mengen benötigt werden, muß eine entsprechende Anzahl Beutel herangezogen werden. Das Handling einer Vielzahl einzelner Beutel ist problematisch. Eine Teilentnahme aus den Beuteln ist zwar möglich, aber mit den oben angeführten Problemen verbunden.
Die bekannten Beutel sind aus einem gelochten Kunststoff hergestellt. Infolgedessen ist eine Kennzeichnung oder Beschriftung der Beutel nur schwer möglich. Außerdem können feine Nahrungsmittel oder Abrieb aus den Löchern des Beutels austreten. Schließlich werden Kunststoffbeutel als umweltunfreundlich angesehen.
Davon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, das Quellen getrockneter Nahrungsmittel für Großverbraucher bzw. die Gastronomie zu verbessern.
Die Aufgabe wird durch eine Nahrungsmittelpackungskette mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen angegeben.
Die erfindungsgemäße Nahrungsmittelpackungskette weist mehrere trennbar miteinander verbundene, eine Füllung getrockneter Nahrungsmittel aufweisende, flüssigkeitsdurchlässige und ein Quellen und/oder Kochen der getrockneten Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglichende Beutel auf. Dies ermöglicht ein einfaches, bedarfsweises Portionieren durch Abreißen der erforderlichen Anzahl Beutel und Einlegen derselben in ein Wasserbad. Hierfür können beispielsweise anstatt eines Beutels mit 300 g Trockengemüse drei leicht voneinander zu trennende Beutels ä 100 g zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Die zusammenhängenden Beutel können vorteilhaft gemeinsam gehandhabt werden, wobei Produktabrieb leichter vermieden werden kann und die Produktsicherheit insgesamt verbessert wird. Zudem ist das Abpacken der Nahrungsmittelpackungskette in einem Umkarton vereinfacht.
Vorzugsweise können die Beutel aus einem wasserdurchlässigen Folienmaterial hergestellt werden. Dabei können die Beutel in einem Schlauch des Folienmaterials durch quergerichtete Siegelnähte voneinander abgegrenzt sein. Ferner kann der Schlauch aus einer Bahn eines Folienmaterials gebildet sein, deren Ränder durch eine längsgerichtete Siegelnaht miteinander verbunden sind.
Vorzugsweise können die Beutel entlang Schwächungslinien voneinander trennbar sein, die quer über die Verbindungen zwischen den Beuteln verlaufen. Dabei kann es sich um in ein Folienmaterial eingebrachte Perforationslinien handeln. Diese können jeweils zwischen mehreren quergerichteten Siegelnähten angeordnet sein, die nach dem Trennen zweier benachbarter Beutel an verschiedenen Beuteln verbleiben.
Für das Folienmaterial der Nahrungsmittelpackungskette kann insbesondere wasserdurchlässige Kunststoffolie verwendet werden, wobei es sich vorzugsweise um eine gelochte Kunststoffolie handeln kann.
In Betracht kommt beispielsweise ein Folienmaterial mit 250 bis 750 Löchern pro dm2, insbesondere etwa 400 bis 450 Löchern pro dm2.
Der Durchmesser der Löcher kann sich vorzugsweise im Bereich von 0,5 bis 2,5 mm bewegen, insbesondere im Bereich von 1,2 bis 1,7 mm.
Vorzugsweise kann die Kunststoffolie eine Stärke von 10 bis 100 µm haben, insbesondere von 20 bis 30 µm.
Bei der Kunststoffolie kann es sich um eine Polyproplenfolie oder um eine Polyethylenfolie handeln. Insbesondere kommt eine OPP-Flachfolie in Betracht, die beispielsweise von der Firma Maack GmbH, 58612 Iserlohn unter der Artikel-Nr. 12415 P 00002 angeboten wird.
Die Nahrungsmittelpackung, die Bestandteil einer Nahrungsmittelpackungskette der eingangs erwähnten Art sein kann, hat einen eine Füllung getrockneter Nahrungsmittel aufweisenden, flüssigkeitsdurchlässigen und ein Quellen und/oder Kochen der getrockneten Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglichenden Beutel aus einer Vliesfolie. Vorzugsweise kann die Vliesfolie ein Langfaserpapier sein.
Derartige Vliesfolien werden bereits als Teebeutel verwendet und sind deshalb als "Teebeutelpapier" bekannt. Überraschend ist deren Einsetzbarkeit für eine Nahrungsmittelpackung oder eine Nahrungsmittelpackungskette zum Quellen und/oder Kochen von Nahrungsmitteln.
Die Vliesfolie erlaubt ein Eindringen von Flüssigkeit, verhindert aber das Austreten von feinen Nahrungsmitteln oder Abrieb. Durch die Beschaffenheit der Nahrungsmittelpackung können auch keine Fremdkörper oder Verunreinigungen in das Produkt gelangen, wodurch ein zusätzlicher Beitrag zur Produktsicherheit geleistet wird.
Vorteilhaft ist auch die gute Bedruckbarkeit des Vliesfolie, die insbesondere den Aufdruck einer Kennzeichnung oder einer Gebrauchsanweisung ermöglicht.
Als weiterer Vorteil ist die erhöhte Umweltfreundlichkeit der Vliesfolie zu nennen.
Vorteilhaft ist auch die verbesserte Aufreißbarkeit der Vliesfolie, die die Produktentnahme nach dem Quellen und/oder Garen erleichtert.
Vorzugsweise kann eine Vliesfolie mit einem Grammgewicht ("Grammatur") von 10 bis 50 g/m2 zum Einsatz kommen. Die Dicke der Vliesfolie kann insbesondere im Bereich von 50 bis 200 µm liegen.
Geeignete Vliesfolien werden beispielsweise von der Firma Crompton unter der Bezeichnung "Super-Siegel Teebeutelpapier" Sorte: Referenz 473701 oder 473702 vermarktet. Bevorzugt kann eine Vliesfolie (Langfaserpapier) der Firma Schoeller & Hoesch GmbH & Co. KG, D-76584 Gernsbach verwendet werden, die unter der Produktbezeichnung Dynapore® Vliespapier heißsiegelfähig 135/2/LCU vermarktet wird (Grammatur 35,0 g/m2).
Bei der Füllung der Nahrungsmittelpackungskette oder der Nahrungsmittelpackung kann es sich um ein geschnittenes und/oder ein gestückeltes Nahrungsmittel handeln.
Die Füllung kann ein Gemüse oder eine Gemüsemischung und/oder Kartoffeln oder Kartoffelmischung enthalten. Sie kann ferner Zwiebeln und/oder Knoblauch enthalten. Die Kartoffeln können blanchiert, geschnitten und getrocknet sein.
Ferner kann die Füllung Salat oder eine Salatmischung und/oder Pilze oder eine Pilzmischung und/oder Kräuter oder eine Kräutermischung enthalten.
Des weiteren kann die Füllung Früchte oder eine Fruchtmischung enthalten.
Schließlich kann die Füllung eine Gewürzmischung enthalten.
Die Nahrungsmittelpackung ist besonders für besonders feine Nahrungsmittel der vorerwähnten Art geeignet.

Claims (18)

  1. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette aus mehreren trennbar miteinander verbundenen und Zusammen hängend beim Quellen verwendbaren, eine Füllung getrockneter und vor dem Gebrauch zu quellender Nahrungsmittel aufweisenden, flüssigkeitsdurchlässigen und ein Quellen der getrockneten Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglichenden Beuteln.
  2. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette gemäß Anspruch 1, bei der die Beutel aus einem wasserdurchlässigen Folienmaterial hergestellt sind.
  3. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette gemäß Anspruch 2, bei der die Beutel in einem Schlauch des Folienmaterials durch quergerichtete Siegelnähte voneinander abgegrenzt sind.
  4. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach Anspruch 3, bei der der Schlauch aus einer Bahn eines Folienmaterials, deren Ränder entlang einer längsgerichteten Siegelnaht verbunden sind, gebildet ist.
  5. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei der die Beutel entlang Schwächungslinien voneinander trennbar sind, die quer über die Verbindungen zwischen den Beuteln verlaufen.
  6. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 3 bis 5, bei der zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Beuteln mehrere quergerichtete Siegelnähte vorhanden sind.
  7. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, deren Folienmaterial eine wasserdurchlässige Kunststoffolie ist.
  8. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach Anspruch 7, deren Kunststoffolie gelocht ist.
  9. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, bei der die Beutel einen Schwächungsbereich und/oder eine eingearbeitete Perforationslinie aufweisen.
  10. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette, nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, bei der der Beutel aus einem Material besteht, daß zusätzlich ein Kochen der gequollenen Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglicht.
  11. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, mit einem eine Füllung getrockneter und vor Gebrauch zu quellender Nahrungsmittel aufweisenden, flüssigkeitsdurchlässigen und ein Quellen der getrockneten Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglichenden Beutel aus einer Vliesfolie.
  12. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette gemäß Anspruch 11, bei der die Vliesfolie ein Flächengewicht von 10 bis 40 g/m2 hat.
  13. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette gemäß Anspruch 11 oder 12, bei der die Vliesfolie eine Dicke von 50 bis 150 µm hat.
  14. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette gemäß einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 13, die mit einem feinstückigen getrockneten Nahrungsmittel gefüllt ist.
  15. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 14, die einen Aufdruck hat.
  16. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 15, wobei jeder Beutel mit 50 bis 500 g eines getrockneten Nahrungsmittels gefüllt ist.
  17. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 16, wobei jeder Beutel einen Schwächungsbereich und/oder eine eingearbeitete Schnur hat, der/die als Aufreißhilfe dient/dienen.
  18. Nahrungsmittelpackungskette nach einem der Ansprüche 11 bis 17, die aus einer Vliesfolie besteht, die ein Kochen der gequollenen Nahrungsmittel in einem Wasserbad ermöglicht.
