Claims (7)
- Zylinderkopf einer Mehrzylinder-Brennkraftmaschine, bestehend aus insbesondere einem Gußstück mit von einem Boden, einer Decke (5) und Längsseitenwänden (1) begrenzten Kühlwasserräumen (4), durch die sich von jedem einem Zylinder zugeordneten Brennraum mindestens ein Einlaßkanal zu der einen der beiden Längsseitenwände (1) und mindestens ein Auslaßkanal zu der anderen der beiden Längsseitenwände (1) erstreckt, und mit an die Decke (5) für Zylinderkopfschrauben angeformten Schraubenpfeifen (6) und an diese angeformten Querwänden (2, 3) die sich bis zum Boden des Zylinderkopfes erstrecken,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Schraubenpfeifen (6) in jeweils demjenigen Umfangswandbereich, der den von den Längsseitenwänden (1) und Querwänden (2, 3) umschlossenen Kühlwasserräumen (4) zugewandt ist, in einem von dem Boden ausgehenden, mit Abstand von der Decke (5) endenden Bereich (8) als lediglich fluidstromsperrende, nicht kraftübertragend ausgelegte Trennwand zwischen dem jeweiligen Schraubenpfeifeninnenraum und den angrenzenden Kühlwasserräumen (4) ausgebildet ist. - Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Länge, innerhalb der die Schraubenpfeifen (6) lediglich Trennwandfunktion besitzen, etwa ein Drittel des Abstandes zwischen dem Boden und der Decke (5) des Zylinderkopfes beträgt. - Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die zwischen benachbarten Kühlwasserräumen (4) liegenden Querwände (3) in ihren Endbereichen, in denen sie an den ausschließlich als Trennwand ausgebildeten zweiten Wanddickenbereich (8) der Schraubenpfeifen (6) angrenzen, eine verminderte Wanddicke aufweisen, wobei dieser verminderte Wanddickenbereich in Querwandlängsrichtung in dem in Querwandhöhe liegenden Grenzbereich zwischen tragendem und nicht tragendem Wandbereich der Schraubenpfeife (6) mit einem geringsten Wert beginnt und bei kontinuierlich zunehmender Ausdehnung an dem Boden des Zylinderkopfes mit einem größten Wert endet. - Zylinderkopf nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß der zweite Trennwandfunktion besitzende Wanddickenbereich (8) jeder Schraubenpfeife (6) als ein eigenständiges Teil ausgebildet und dicht zwischen dem ersten Bereich (7) der Schraubenpfeife (6) und dem Boden des Zylinderkopfes eingespannt ist. - Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das eigenständige Teil aus einem anderen Material als die Schraubenpfeife (6) besteht. - Zylinderkopf nach Anspruch 4 oder 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das eigenständige Teil eine Hülse ist. - Zylinderkopf nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß zwischen Zylinderkopfschrauben und Schraubenpfeifen (6) jeweils ein nach außen dichter Ringraum ausgebildet ist.
