Description
The invention relates to a package for a group of objects, in particular Single packs, consisting of bottom wall, side longitudinal walls, side cross walls and upright corner supports that extend beyond the longitudinal and transverse walls - so-called tray pack. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing and filling such packs.
Tray packs are usually open-top pack containers that come from a bottom wall and from side walls which are low in relation to the items to be packaged exist, namely longitudinal walls and transverse walls. In the present case it is Tray pack designed so that in the area of the (four) pack corners through the Longitudinal walls and transverse walls of upright corner supports are formed, which are significantly higher are as longitudinal walls and transverse walls.
What is known is an open top that also consists of a single blank Pack for the transport of beverage bottles. A cut for this pack is like this trained that it can be separated from a benefit largely without waste. The pack itself consists of longitudinal walls and transverse walls, being used for formation a bottom wall bottom tabs are only attached to the longitudinal walls. This form a broad overlap and are glued together in the area of the same connected. Recesses are formed on the side walls and on the upper ones Ends of handle openings. This well-known pack is not a typical tray pack.
Dokument EP 669257 offenbart eine Traypackung nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.Document EP 669257 discloses a tray pack according to the Preamble of claim 1.
The invention has for its object a tray pack from a single blank to be designed in such a way that the cut material and the packaging can be manufactured and filled by machine.
The tray pack designed in this way has a simple construction. The bottom wall is fully usable. Furthermore, the cut can be due to the nested arrangement be separated from it within a material web without waste.
The blanks for a pack in the sense of the invention can be designed in this way be that the partially overlapping floor tabs form a closed floor wall produce. Alternatively, namely when the blank is designed for maximum Material saving, the bottom wall is due to the smaller sized floor tabs provided with openings or recesses. However, these are smaller or narrower than the items or individual packs to be placed on the bottom wall.
Another specialty is the production and filling of tray packs from the present blanks. The procedure is such that the pack with an open bottom wall, So unfolded floor cloth is transported facing upwards, whereby the downward-facing corner supports rest on a cardboard track. The package contents is inserted over the open bottom wall. After that, the floor rags folded one after the other into the plane of the bottom wall. After attaching an adhesive strip the complete, filled package is turned through 180 °.

The pack shown in the drawings is for inclusion
of grouped objects, namely single packs 10. These
are cuboid and in
Die Packung zur Aufnahme der Einzelpackungen 10 ist eine Traypackung
Packung bzw. Traypackung 12 ist so bemessen, daß die Bodenwand
17 vollständig von der Gruppe der Einzelpackungen 10 bedeckt
ist. Die Traypackung 12 wird demnach vom Packungsinhalt vollständig
ausgefüllt. The pack for accommodating the individual packs 10 is a
Trennlinie 22 aneinander.The
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 6 (Unteransicht der Bodenwand
17) sind Faltlappen geringerer Abmessung vorgesehen.
Die Querlappen 18, 19 und entsprechend die Längslappen 20, 21
haben eine geringere Breite (Querabmessung). Dadurch ist im
Teilbereich eine Überdeckung der Faltlappen nicht gegeben. Im
mittleren Bereich der Bodenwand 17 entsteht eine längliche,
rechteckige Öffnung 23. Weitere, übereinstimmend ausgebildete
Öffnungen 24 entstehen an Ecken der Traypackung 12 bzw. der Bodenwand

übergehen in aufrechte Eckstützen 25, 26. Diese sind im Querschnitt
winkelförmig ausgebildet und erfassen zugekehrte Eckbereiche
der an den Ecken positionierten Einzelpackungen 10. Die
Eckstützen 25, 26 haben etwa die Höhe der Einzelpackungen 10
bzw.
A special feature of the
Bodenwand. Entsprechendes gilt für die Querlappen 18, 19, die
den Ausnehmungen 30 im Bereich der Querwände 15, 16 entsprechen. The corner supports 25, 26 or their
verbunden. Die betreffende Eckstütze 25 ist somit geteilt
zwischen den beiden Schenkeln 27, 28. Diese werden durch den
Verbindungsstreifen 33 innenseitig unter Bildung der Eckstütze
25 verbunden, insbesondere durch Klebung. The design of the
34 abgetrennt. Der Stanzschnitt folgt dabei der Kontur
der Zuschnitte 31, 32.The
benachbarten Zuschnitts.Through the coordinated design and dimensioning of the

gleiche Position gefaltet. The filled one, with the
nämlich in bestimmter Weise geformte Faltschienen 50, 51. Diese
erfassen die zugeordneten Bodenlappen, nämlich Längslappen 20,
21, an deren Außenseite.
Querlappen 18, 19 umgefaltet.During further transport, be next to the movement path

miteinander. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel wird ein
Klebestreifen 52 in Längsrichtung auf die Bodenwand 17 aufgebracht
zur Verbindung der äußeren Längslappen 20, 21 miteinander
im Bereich der Trennlinie 22. Der Klebestreifen 52 erstreckt
sich zur stabilen Ausbildung der Traypackung 12 mit
Schenkeln im Bereich der angrenzenden Seitenwände, nämlich
Querwände 15, 16.The
gelangt. After fixing the

Claims (8)
- Pack for a group of articles, in particular individual packs (10), comprising a base wall (17), lateral longitudinal walls (13, 14), lateral transverse walls (15, 16) and upright corner supports (25, 26) which project beyond the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16) - so-called tray pack (12) - having the following features:a) the pack comprises a blank (31, 32), which is severed as a strip from a continuous material web (34) of packaging material,b) the strip-like blank (31, 32) is folded, with the aid of a connecting strip (33) at the edge, to form a four-cornered, closed form with longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16),c) a longitudinal tab (20, 21) is fitted to each longitudinal wall (13, 14), and a transverse tab (18, 19) is fitted to each transverse wall (15, 16),d) the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) and the transverse tabs (18, 19) form the base wall (17) by being folded over into a position transverse with respect to the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and the transverse walls (15, 16),e) on the side opposite the transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21), projections are fitted to the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16) and, as a result of the blank (31, 32) being folded, in each case form the angular corner supports (25, 26), in each case one leg (27, 28) of the corner supports being connected to an associated longitudinal wall (13, 14) or transverse wall (15, 16),
characterized by the following features:f) the corner supports (25, 26) and regions located between these and belonging to the longitudinal wall (13, 14) and transverse wall (15, 16) bound a recess (29, 30),g) the transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21) correspond in size and shape to the respectively associated recess (29, 30). - Pack according to Claim 1, characterized in that, in relation to the dimensions of the associated recesses (29), the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) are widened by a material strip or web (36), which is directed towards the longitudinal walls (13, 14), such that the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) preferably correspond to half the width of the base wall (14) in each case and butt against one another in the region of a central parting line (22).
- Pack according to Claim 2, characterized in that it is also the case that the transverse tabs (18, 19) of the base wall (17), said transverse tabs being assigned to the transverse walls (15, 16), have a widened portion corresponding to the web (36), and in that the base wall (17) formed from transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21) designed in this way is closed throughout, that is to say is free of openings.
- Pack according to Claim 1, characterized in that folding tabs for forming the base wall (17), in particular transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21), are dimensioned such that the base tabs only overlap in a subregion, in particular so as to produce a central opening (23) and/or openings (24) formed in the region of corners, said openings being smaller, or of a lesser width, than the corresponding dimensions of the individual packs (10).
- Pack according to Claim 1, characterized in that the tray pack (12) comprises a blank (31, 32) which can be severed in an essentially waste-free manner from a larger cut-to-size piece of material, in particular a material web (34), it being the case that legs (27, 28) for forming corner supports (25, 26) fit in depressions (35) of an adjacent blank (31, 32), and base tabs, namely transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21), likewise fit in recesses (29, 30) in the region of the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16).
- Pack according to Claim 5, characterized in that the depressions (35) terminate at a distance from a folding edge (37), for bounding the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16), such that a web (36) is formed for widening the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) and transverse tabs (18, 19).
- Pack according to Claim 5, characterized in that the depressions (35) extend as far as the folding edge (37), for bounding the longitudinal walls (13, 14) and transverse walls (15, 16).
- Process for producing and filling packs according to one or more of Claims 1 to 7, characterized by the following features:a) by connecting the edge connecting strip (33) to an associated leg (28) of a corner support (25) at the edge, a tray pack open at the top and bottom is formed,b) the tray pack is positioned on a box path (46) with the corner supports (25, 26) oriented downwards,c) the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) and transverse tabs (18, 19) are positioned in an upright plane,d) a group of individual packs (10) is inserted into the tray pack from above via the open side of the base until they rest on the box path (46),e) then, transverse tabs (18, 19) located at the front and rear in the conveying direction are folded into the plane of the base wall (17), and then the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) are likewise folded into the plane of the base wall,f) an adhesive strip (52) is applied to the base wall (17) to connect the longitudinal tabs (20, 21) to each other,g) the filled tray pack is then turned through 180° in such a way that the base wall (17) is oriented downwards,
