Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuse disconnector with a lower part having fixed contact parts, with a cover for the lower part and a fuse holder with fuses for contacting the fixed contact parts.
- a generic fuse breaker is known from DE-GM 92 08 693.4.
- This fuse circuit breaker according to FIG 5 consists of a lower part 1 with the receiving contacts 2 for the blades 3 of low-voltage high-performance fuses 4.
- the low-voltage high-performance fuses 4 are held in a fuse holder 5 via retaining lugs 6.
- the fuse holder 5 is connected to the lower part 1 via a non-illustrated rotary joint.
- the receiving contacts 2 are covered by a cover 7.
- slots 8 are introduced for insertion of the blades 3.
- the cover 7 is provided with an outwardly closed, slot-shaped arc guide 9, which has an outlet opening 10.
- the fuse holder 5 When opening the fuse disconnector, the fuse holder 5 is separated from the lower part 1 by the contact blade 3 are pulled out of the receiving contacts 2 with rotation of the fuse holder 5. The resulting arc enters the slot-shaped arc guide 9. One part emerges from the outlet opening 10, another part is deflected into Lichtbogenumlenkwaitn.
- This arc quenching device is used to switch off load currents.
- the load currents are relatively low with peak values of approx. 1 kA.
- the occurring arc is about 10 to 20 ms, ie relatively long.
- the problem zone when switching off load currents is in front of the contact piece, which is why in this area to solve the problem Lichtbogenumlenkhuntn with the outlet opening 10 are provided.
- the short-circuit currents which occur when switching on a short circuit are switched off by the fuses after reaching their peak values of approximately 100 kA after a relatively short duration (approximately 1 ms).
- the high current gradient leads to an explosive propagation of metal vapors and ionized gases in all directions around the arc.
- the problem zone is here in the area of the contact piece, i. below the problem zone relevant for switching off. Due to the metal vapors and ionized gases, a phase shift between juxtaposed contact pieces is possible without special precautions.
- the housing has relatively large connection openings for the receiving contacts and if they are exposed, then it can not be ruled out that the metal vapors will come out of the receiving contact through the connection opening and if the fuse-switch disconnects on a grounded mounting plate, this will lead to a short circuit.
- a fuse disconnector in strip form in which the individual receiving contacts of hood-like covers are each surrounded by five sides. With one of the receiving contacts connected, running at a small distance to the associated receiving contact pins, which are covered by the respective cover, are accessible via an opening of the cover. In this case, the openings can be closed substantially by contact tulips bridging the receiving contacts when they are plugged onto the free ends of the contact pins for bridging the receiving contacts.
- the invention is based on the object, another fuse breaker of the above type ( DE 25 44 251 A ), by which also a harmful influence by occurring when switching on a short circuit metal vapors and ionized gases is avoided.
- each of the terminals is disposed between each one of the walls of the chambers and one of the terminal outer opening of the cover so arranged that each of the walls of the chambers each have a partition forms one of the terminals for preventing the propagation of metal vapors and ionized gases to the associated outlet opening.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is when the chamber is open on the side facing the lower part, whereby a targeted pressure relief and a discharge of the ionized gases and metal vapors is made possible.
- the fuse switch disconnector shown in FIG. 1 consists essentially of a lower part 11 with receiving contacts 12 for safety cutters 13 of low-voltage high-performance fuses 14, a cover 17 which can be snapped onto the lower part 11 and a fuse holder 15 which carries the low-voltage high-performance fuses 14 via retaining lugs 16.
- the fuse holder 15 is connected to the lower part 11 via a not-shown known rotary joint.
- the cover 17 covers the receiving contacts 12 and thus serves as protection against contact.
- slots 18 are introduced for insertion of the safety blade 13 in a known manner.
- the cover 17 is provided with chambers 19, in each of which one of the receiving contacts 12, that is, a fixed contact for each phase is added.
- the fuse switch disconnector is shown in FIG. 1 in a position during the switch-on process, shortly after swiveling up Fuse holder 15 in which the fuse blade 13, the contacts 12 touch.
- Arrows 20 indicate the propagation of metal vapors and ionized gases. These are held by a chamber 19 associated with the wall 21 and reflected.
- the chamber 21 surrounds the receiving contact 12 on all sides by walls, wherein only one of the walls is interrupted by the slot 18 for contacting the safety blade 13 with the receiving contact 12. Downwards, ie towards the lower part 11, the chamber 19 is opened, in order to thereby provide a targeted pressure relief during the explosive propagation of the metal vapors and gases and to dissipate them therefrom.
- the wall 21 of the chamber 19 is a foreclosure to the terminal 22 is out, which is accessible via a connection opening 23 on the housing outer wall.
- a separate chamber 19 ie juxtaposed receiving contacts 12 of the three phases are also sealed off from each other by partitions, not shown here.
- FIG 2 a fuse switch disconnectors according to the invention ßer type without a fuse holder and fuses shown.
- the terminal 22 is formed here for connecting a cable lug, which is insertable through a wide connection opening 23 in the housing outer wall.
- the metal vapors and ionized gases would be able to propagate unhindered to the connection opening 23 outwards and thereby considerably increase the risk of short circuits.
- the same reference numerals as in FIG 1 are used here, since the embodiment is basically the same.
- the cover 17 in a bottom view, i. from the viewpoint of the lower part 11.
- the three individual chambers 19 are visible for each phase. These are each formed by the walls 21 and adjoining transverse walls 24, which surround the receiving contact 12 on all sides except for the receiving slot 18.
- the transverse walls 24 also serve as partitions between adjacent receiving contacts 12. This encapsulation of the receiving contacts 12, a migration of the arc to adjacent receiving contacts and thus prevents short-circuiting.
