Definitions
- the invention relates to a shaped charge, according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- Such a shaped charge is known from EP 0 559 960 B1. It serves first Line to this, improvised explosive ordnance, so-called “Improvised Explosive Devices "without harm to users and the environment do.
- Such weaponry used primarily by terrorists are z.
- the known shaped charge is rotationally symmetrical.
- the flowable material e.g. B. water
- punctiform on the shell, in which the explosive is enclosed around the Open the case without detonating the explosives.
- this can be particularly the case with disarming or disposal activities Hollow charge, for example, for quickly opening doors or other barriers, for example when deploying fire brigades and technical special forces are deployed.
- the well-known shaped charge has proven itself on the whole. she is but can only be used with a short shooting distance of 2 to 3 meters. In addition, it is largely ineffective when a small explosive device in one large container, such as a suitcase.
- a shaped charge has become known in which the Charge cavity is filled with a flowable material that at the Initiation forms a shaped charge spike.
- the shaped charge is thin and light lining, which due to its conical shape in the In the event of initiation, a focus of the flowable medium to one Hollow charge beam causes. This means that the sting generated is rotationally symmetrical with respect to the axis of the direction of propagation.
- US-A 5,170,004 describes a channel-shaped shaped charge, which then is optimized, a cabin glazing of an aircraft along a Open cutting line.
- the glazing also forms the flat base the shaped charge.
- the triangular cavity in cross section between the The cargo and the glazing are filled with an incompressible medium.
- This shaped charge shape is well suited for a minimal shooting distance, however, the person skilled in the art receives no information on improving the effectiveness with longer shooting distances.
- the object of the invention is to provide a shaped charge of known type with regard to Effectiveness and suitability for a larger shooting distance significantly improve.
- the shaped charge space is a channel educated.
- the beam is here in the direction of the channel widened.
- the channel shape of the shaped charge acts similar to one Lining up several rotationally symmetrical ones Hollow charges. This creates a flat, fan-shaped hollow charge spike formed, the tip of which forms a cutting edge that the shell or cut open other container in which the explosive is enclosed. So z. B. also an explosive device in a larger container be reliably rendered harmless, without detonative Implementation of the explosive ordnance. That is, the one from the flowable Flat jet of material opens the container, but loads the container Explosives in the container little, so the risk of violent reaction of the explosive is largely switched off.
- the flowable material can, for example, water with and without antifreeze, an oil, liquid glass, or other liquid. Also pasty substances can be used. Is preferred as flowable However, material uses a gel, especially a polymerized silicone gel. Compared to a liquid such as water, such a gel has none Tightness problems and a long storage time as well as a temperature range from approx. -50 to + 200 ° C. It also uses a gel as a flowable Material of the shooting distance ("Stand off”) increased. Accordingly, with the charge of the invention has a shooting distance of up to 7 meters possible.
- the channel-shaped shaped charge space is not completely up to Height of the base filled with flowable material, but through a form mask only a layered covering of the channel with the flowable Material provided. That is, the wall that the charge cavity on the one facing the explosive device, i.e. facing away from the explosive charge Closes side, has a corresponding to the cross-sectional profile of the channel Cross-sectional profile, for example by forming this wall in parallel to the inside of the gutter.
- the explosive charge is preferably applied as a coating on a carrier, one corresponding to the cross section of the charge cavity Has cross-section.
- An explosive foil is preferably used as the explosive charge used.
- a tandem effect has proven to be advantageous proven, d. H. in addition to the flowable material, a lining a solid inert material on the side facing the charge cavity the explosive charge, i.e. between the explosive charge and the flowable material, for example from a metal such as copper.
- the charge cavity designed as a channel preferably has a V-shaped one Cross section on.
- the opening angle of the V can be 45 to 150 ° amount, but is preferably 100 to 140 °.
- the total length of the shaped charge is preferably at most 400 mm, in the case of a V-shaped channel the length of each leg of the V, that is the width of each side of the channel maximum 200 mm, preferably a maximum of 100 mm, the layer thickness of the explosive charge a maximum of 10 mm, preferably a maximum of 6 mm, the amount of explosives a maximum of 700 grams, in particular a maximum of 500 grams and the thickness of the coating made of inert material a maximum of 4 mm, in particular a maximum of 2 mm.
- the shaped charge for the shaped charge to be sufficiently effective, its total length should be at least 100 mm, the leg length of the channel mentioned at least 40 mm, the thickness of the explosive foil at least 1 mm and the amount of explosive at least 10 grams .
- the thickness of the lining should be at least 0.1 mm in order to achieve a noticeable increase in the penetration of the shaped charge spike.
- the housing of the shaped charge according to the invention is due to the wall the side of the charge cavity facing away from the explosive charge, the Carrier for the explosive charge and two plates formed the charge cavity close at the front.
- the housing is preferably made entirely of plastic.
- the shaped charge then has a V-shaped carrier 1 made of plastic, which is covered on the inside with an explosive foil 2, which with detonators 3 is in operative connection, each in a sleeve-shaped extension 4 Sit the apex of the V-shaped support 1.
- the opening angle ⁇ of the V-shaped Carrier 1 is 120 °.
- the explosive foil 2 is on the carrier 1 opposite side with a lining 5, z. B. made of copper.
- the Explosive foil can e.g. B. in addition to a plastic as a binder Pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) included.
- PETN Pentaerythritol tetranitrate
- a plastic mask 6 is placed, which closes a channel-shaped charge cavity 7 on the front side facing the explosive device and on the two long sides.
- the wall 8 arranged at a distance from the lining 5 or the explosive foil 2 on the front of the molding mask 6 is likewise designed as a V-shaped channel.
- the V-shaped charge cavity 7 is filled with a flowable material, for example a gel.
- the carrier 1, the explosive foil 2, the lining 5, the charge cavity 7 or the flowable material contained therein and the wall 8 are arranged parallel to each other and each formed channel-shaped with a V-shaped cross section with the same opening angle ⁇ .
- the trough-shaped charge cavity 7 is closed by plates 10, 11 made of plastic, one plate 10 being provided with two closable filling openings 12 for the flowable material.
- the individual parts of the shaped charge ie the carrier 1, the explosive foil 2, the Lining 5, the form mask 6 and the plates 10, 11 can be fastened be glued to each other.
