Description

The invention relates to a frame frame for a door, in particular a fire door, according to the preamble of appended claim 1.

So fire protection doors to protect well from smoke and fire, tight and stable close, fire door frame frames generally show next to the side frames and the top frame also a floor or to be anchored in the floor Lower frame. This fourth frame stabilizes the frame as a whole and is also often provided with a stop bar, when the door leaf is in contact the door overall stabilized and tightly closed, but depending on the installation situation often either the stop bar or the entire bottom or bottom frame undesirable. This is generally the case where the stop bar or the whole Subframe would emerge from the ground alone and a trip hazard would form. So that an adaptation to the particular installation situation can be carried out with known frame frames, these must either specially made for the installation situation or in laborious work the lower frame or the stop bar is separated from the remaining frame frame become.

The horizontal frames of this Known frame frames are made of two sub-elements in the form of profile bars educated. One profile bar is soluble with the other by means of tack welding Profile bar connected and can be broken off to avoid tripping become.

A frame for a stable door is known from DE 26 54 822 A1. The single ones Frames are formed by Z-shaped profile parts. To a detachable connection The individual frames are to be created in each case at right angles to each other Profile sections of the horizontal frame flaps formed with the vertical frame are connected via screw connections.

The invention has for its object a frame frame according to the preamble of claim 1 to improve so that it is easier to different Installation situations is customizable.

This object is achieved by a frame with the features of appended claim 1 solved.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

In the frame frame according to the invention, at least one is to be arranged horizontally Frame composed of two sub-elements, a first of which Sub-element is connected to the side frames and a, preferably a stop bar for the fire protection door, second sub-element above solar break points forming point connections attached to the first sub-element and is designed as a breakable frame part, which point connections on - preferably by embossing - on an edge of one of the sub-elements attack manufactured expressions.

The frame frame according to the invention is thus characterized by predetermined breaking points in the area of at least one of the frames to be arranged horizontally, which canceling at least one undesirable for certain installation situations Allow the frame part of the rest of the frame. The predetermined breaking points are preferably arranged in the area of those frames which are used as the lower frame should serve. Frame parts that can be broken off can be a stop bar, an additional profile or other parts of the horizontally arranged frame, if this is in the area of the floor are undesirable. Instead of these unwanted frame parts tedious need to saw off or especially the frame for the special installation situation To have to manufacture, the frame frame according to the invention can be large Number of pieces to be produced and by breaking off unwanted parts of the horizontal frame along the predetermined breaking points adapted to the specific installation situation in a simple manner become. It is usually desirable to use only a part, for example the stop bar, to remove the respective lower frame. This becomes special with the invention simply achieved by arranging at least one of the two horizontally Frames, in particular, of course, the one that is to serve as the lower frame two sub-elements is formed. A first sub-element is with the side frames connected and thus increases the stability of the frame. A second, in particular the stop element having sub-element is by means of the punctual Connection attached to the first sub-element and thus as a first breakable Frame part trained. The predetermined breaking points are simply through selectively available, d. H. held in a strictly limited local configuration Connections between the sub-elements of the horizontally to be arranged Frame formed. Spot welds or spot welds are particularly preferred or also short weld seams or the like, which as such are punctual Serve connections. The connection between the two sub-elements must on the one hand should be firm, on the other hand, however, the second sub-element if necessary can be easily removed. Therefore, one of the sub-elements is to be created of points of attack for spot welds or weld spots or also for short weld seams or the like or other point connections for example, expressions in the area produced by an embossing stamp an edge is provided, the material thickness in the area of the connection point reduce.

If now in addition, as in a preferred embodiment of the invention provided that the partial elements partially overlap, the selective Connections at an edge of the overlapping edge which lies against the first partial element Partial area or overlap area of the second partial element is formed there is a connection created by the overlap has a particular strength, but on the other hand by breaking into a suitable direction can be easily broken. This is particularly beneficial in connection with the construction according to the invention, in which the expressions are provided directly on the edge, then by the embossing the material is driven over the edge and so the overlap area, but also the lever for breaking off the second partial element is increased. The welding spots can then still be outside the other overlap area be arranged before the edge of the second element. At a Such a design makes it particularly easy to bend the second element cancel.

A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is in a frame realized that is suitable for both right and left hinged doors is. Such a frame is made with identical top and bottom frames manufactured and delivered to the installation site, so that a change of the stop side the doors can be done simply by turning the frame around becomes. The one to be posted on the right One of the left frames serves as the upper frame and serves as the upper frame door to be attached as a lower frame and vice versa. One for various installation purposes frame can be used according to the advantageous embodiment of the invention adaptable to different installation situations if both are to be arranged horizontally Frame predetermined breaking points are provided along which for certain installation situations unwanted partial elements can be broken off from the rest of the horizontal frame. So can identical frame frames on the one hand for right and left hinged doors be used, even if e.g. a stop bar of the lower frame is undesirable. In In this case, the second sub-element, designed as a breakable frame part, must be the respective one Horizontal frame, which would come to lie below, only broken off along the predetermined breaking points become.

For example, the first sub-element is an angle with two legs, on one of which Leg the second sub-element, for example in the form of an additional profile to form the stop bar is formed by means of spot welds or spot welds is welded - but other connections with limited expansion are also conceivable are.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention relate to corner connections between the Side frames and the at least one frame to be arranged horizontally, which Corner connections are particularly easy to produce and preferably also particularly easy to close are to be solved if a lower frame is completely undesirable. Such corner connections are can be realized by means of brackets (at least one per corner connection), which can be made from a frame extend and punctually with the other, bordering corner frame - preferably through Welding - are connected. Such tabs are easy to handle because they are can be easily bent into the position required to create the corner connection. On the other hand, corner connections formed by tabs can be easily loosened, since only the Tabs and not the entire frame, for example by sawing or flexing or the like must be severed. The tabs, which are preferably integral or in one piece with the frame to be arranged horizontally - in particular, of course, the first sub-element thereof - are formed, preferably extend from the frame to be attached horizontally overlapping to the respective side frame and are spot welded there. But it is a configuration is also conceivable in which one or more or all of the tabs in particular formed in one piece from the respective side frame to the Horizontal frame, i.e. extend in particular the first sub-element where it is welded are. Preferably, two tabs are provided in each corner connection, one of which first parallel areas and the second corner areas of the frames connect. Further preferred are two welding spots on each tab, one in diagonal opposite corner areas of the tab provided. In still unwelded condition have the tabs in a particularly simple to manufacture embodiment of the invention Weld nipples that define the locations of the weld spots to be attached. This Welding warts are preferred as the expressions are made by embossing and contain similar benefits. The tabs are still unwelded advantageously bent only so far in the direction of its final end position that the The frame, which can be arranged horizontally, turns easily despite the weld nipples with the side frames can be put together. The end position of the tabs is then achieved during welding.

The tabs are preferably only on the first partial element designed as an angle provided on which the second partial element designed as an additional profile can be broken off is welded. Then only the angle is welded to the side frames via the tabs. At the installation location, it can then be decided whether the frame is to be arranged horizontally the way it is to be installed, whether the additional bar or the additional profile is canceled the angle on the side frames remains attached via the tabs, or whether the angle and thus the entire horizontally arranged frame are removed should. In the latter case, the tabs are cut by sawing or the like. Of course, in further embodiments of the invention, in addition to the Previously described arrangements of predetermined breaking points at the transitions between the Tabs and the rest of the frame to be arranged horizontally, for example Hole or slot embossing or punching or other perforation or the like be provided.

In Fig. 1, a frame 10 to be arranged horizontally is shown, which as both top and also as the bottom or bottom frame of a frame for a right and left usable Fire door is suitable. Only one end region of the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally is 12 shown, which with a side frame 14 to a frame corner 16 shown in Fig. 5 of the Frame frame is connectable. As can be seen in more detail from FIG. 2 or also FIG. 9, the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally in cross section essentially a Z-shaped shape. The Frame to be arranged horizontally consists of two sub-elements, namely an angle 18 and an additional profile 20, which overlaps with a wide strip on a first leg 22 of the Angle 18 is arranged and thus has an overlap area 24. The rest of the area of the additional profile 20 has a Z-shaped reinforcing stop profile 26 and one then, as a stop bar 28 for the fire protection door, not shown trained flange. A sealing groove 27 is provided in the stop profile 26 Recording a door seal (not shown) is formed. Both the first leg 22 of the Angle 18 as well as for attachment to the masonry delimiting a door opening or the corresponding base area provided second legs 30 point on the extreme end 32 of the end region 12 each have a tab 34, 36. In both tabs 34, 36 are welded into the vicinity of two diagonally opposite corners, weld nipples 38. A first tab 34 is formed by notching the second leg 30. I.e. the first tab 34 is an extension of this second which is somewhat smaller in width Leg 30. As shown in more detail in FIG. 3 in connection with FIG. 2, the first tab 34 is Z-shaped bent inwards towards the additional profile 20 in such a way that they approximately but not completely parallel to the first leg 30. It is through the Z-shaped Bending a shoulder 40 for engaging a corresponding area of the side frame 14 educated. The second tab 36 is also by disengaging the first leg 22 formed and is thus a smaller extension of this second Leg 22. As can be seen from Fig. 1, the second tab 36 is bent downward not by a full 90 °. The reason why the first tab 34 is not completely parallel to the second leg 30 and the second tab 36 not quite at right angles to the first leg 22 runs, lies in the fact that the tabs 34, 36 on corresponding portions of the Side frame 14 should form to form the frame corner 16, which is exactly parallel or rectangular position would be made more difficult by the weld nipples 38. The angle 18 and the additional profile 20 are at an edge 44 of the overlap area 24 with one another connected that predetermined breaking points 42 are created, at which the two parts or Sub-elements 18, 20 can be broken apart. For this purpose, the edge 44 is on some Joints 46 (see Fig. 4) have been processed by means of an embossing stamp in such a way that Embossments (impressions, expressions) or expressions 48 are formed. By the Embossing stamp, the material of the additional profile 20 has been pressed so that it is on this Junctions 46 is made thinner. The embossing also causes the material protrudes beyond the edge 44. Punctual connections are there on edge 44 pressed out connection points 46 by two first welding spots 50 as in FIG. 2 or a first weld spot 50, as shown in FIG. 9, per connection point 46 created. Instead of or in addition to the welding spots 50, a spot spot can also be used Welding may be provided in the form of a short weld. Especially for education Such a weld seam is a long boss 47 at the connection point 46, for example as described in DIN 8519. At these point connections or The predetermined breaking points 42 are formed in welding spots 50. Should a frame without Stop bar 28 are provided on the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally, so that will Additional profile 20 by bending in the direction Z relative to the angle 18 of this broken off, the break at the predetermined breaking points 42, i.e. at the welding points 50 or at the areas of the expressions 48 indicated by hatching in FIG. 2.

The welding nipples 38 are used to create second welding spots 72 for tight welding the tabs 34, 36 provided on the side frame 14. The side frame 14 is, as in FIG. 6 shown, very similar in cross section to the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally, unlike this, however, from a single piece, for example by bending, folding or Rolls shaped. Accordingly, the side frame 14 has one of a first leg 56 and a second leg 60 existing angular range 58, with the first leg 56 a web 62 is additionally arranged. As an extension of the first leg 56 closes a Z-shaped reinforcement profile or stop profile 64 with a Sealing groove 65 on. The stop profile 64 also has the stop profile, by the way 26 a rear stop, which is used to fix the frame on Masonry is useful. The stop profile 64 goes at the angular range 58 opposite end in a stop bar 66. As can be seen from FIGS. 7 and 8, form the first leg 56, the Z-shaped stop profile 64 and the stop bar 66 at the end 68 provided for forming the frame corner 16, a recess 70 into which the horizontally arranged frame 10 can engage with its stop bar 28. In a Embodiment not explicitly shown also has or only the stop bar 28 of the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally has such a recess for engaging the corresponding one Part of the side frame 14.

The formation of the frame corner 16 is explained below with reference to FIG. 5. The Frame 10, which is to be arranged horizontally, is applied to the side frame 14 as shown, wherein the stop bar 28 engages in the recess 70 so that from the side of the stop bars 66, 28 no gap remains. The first tab 34 is secured to the weld nipples 38 weld spots 72 applied to the second leg 60 of the side frame 14 selectively connected. The second tab 36 is attached to the welding nipples 38 Weld spots 72 are connected to the first leg 56 of the side frame 14. The first Tab 34 thus serves to arrange the second legs 30 and 60 to be arranged parallel to one another connect with each other. The second tab 36 provides a corner connection for the first Legs 22, 56 of the frames 10 and 14. The final position of the tabs 34, 36 parallel or perpendicular to the respective leg 30 or 22 of the angle 18 is only when welding achieved. Before welding, the tabs 34 and 36 lie on the legs 60 and 56 of the Side frame 14 only at the tips of the welding nipples 38 or one of them. The so created corner connection 54 can be separated again by sawing or flexing, whereby, if necessary, the entire frame 10 to be arranged horizontally from the rest of the Frame frame can be removed. For cases in which only the stop bar 28 is undesirable is a breakable frame part in the form of the additional profile 20 on the horizontal to be arranged frame 10 is provided, which at the predetermined breaking points 42 of the remaining Rest of the frame 10 to be arranged horizontally, ie. the angle 18, are canceled can.

Through the connections 54 and 46 explained in more detail here is a frame for one on the right and fire protection door that can be used on the left can be realized, with all connections through Spot welding can be made. In particular by spot welding or Weld spots 50 or by means of short weld seams made on the long boss 47 Between the two sub-elements 18, 20 of the frame 10, predetermined breaking points 42 are created, where frame parts can be broken off from the spot welded frame frame if necessary are. The spot welds also make galvanized materials from which the Frames 14, 10 preferably exist, can be firmly connected to one another. For galvanized materials For example, inert gas welding would only lead to unsatisfactory connections. at point expansion of the welds, it is particularly easy to apply high pressures to the materials to be welded for welding, since comparatively low Forces must be used.

The most important aspects of the frame frame described here are as follows summarized again with reference to FIG. 2:

ZusammenfassungSummary

It is a frame frame for a door, especially for a fire door and more have been described in particular for a fire door that can be used on the right and left, at the predetermined breaking points (42) are created in the region of a frame (10) to be arranged horizontally are on which a frame part (20) undesirable for certain installation situations Rest (10) of the frame can be broken off. The predetermined breaking points (42) are realized in that the connections between the frame parts (18, 20) from which the Frame frame is composed, preferably by means of spot welding or Spot welds (50) are formed at certain points. At least one of the horizontal ones Frames (10) consist of two sub-elements (18, 20), which are so fixed together are connected to break apart. The selective connections attack in one Region of an edge (44) of one of the partial elements (20) formed expressions (48) which the material of this sub-element (20) is made thinner than in the rest Areas. The material at these expressions (48) is preferably over the edge (44) driven out.

Claims (11)

  1. Door frame for a door, particularly a fire door, having two side members (14) and two members (10) which are to be mounted horizontally and are connected to the side members (14) by means of corner joints (54),
wherein at least one member (10) which is to be mounted horizontally is made up of two partial elements (18, 20), a first partial element (18) being connected to the side members (14) while a second partial element (20) is secured to the first partial element (18) via spot connections forming frangible points (42) and is thus constructed as a frame section capable of being broken away, characterised in that the spot connections act on pressed-out parts (48) which are formed on an edge (44) of one of the partial elements (20), and that all or at least some of the pressed-out parts (48) on the edge (44) of the second partial element (20) abutting on the first partial element (18) are constructed so that the pressed out material escapes beyond the edge (44), the material which has been pressed out in this way serving as a base for a spot connection (50) on the other side of the edge (44).
  2. Door frame according to claim 1, characterised in that the pressed-out parts (48) are produced by stamping and/or the partial elements (18, 20) partly overlap, the spot connections being formed on that edge (44) of an overlapping partial region or overlap region (24) of the second partial element (20) which abuts on the first partial element (18).
  3. Door frame according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that it can be used for a fire door which can be hung and/or used on either the right or left, as desired, the two frame members (10) which are to be mounted horizontally being made up of the two partial elements (18, 20) with the spot connections forming the frangible points (42) located between them.
  4. Door frame according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the spot connections are formed by welds (50).
  5. Door frame according to claim 4, characterised in that the spot connections are formed by first spot welds (50) and the first partial element is an angle member (18) with two arms (22, 30), one of said arms (22) having the second partial element in the form of an additional profile (20) welded to it by means of the first spot welds (50) .
  6. Door frame according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that to form the corner joint at least one fishplate (34, 36) is provided which extends in overlapping manner from the minimum of one frame member which is to be mounted horizontally to the associated side member (14), and is spot-welded there, or which extends in overlapping manner from the associated side member (14) to the minimum of one frame member which is to be mounted horizontally, and is spot-welded there.
  7. Door frame according to claim 6, characterised in that in each corner joint (54) there are two fishplates (34, 36), a first fishplate (34) of which connects parallel regions (30, 60) of the frame members (10, 14) while a second fishplate (36) connects regions (22, 56) of the frame members (10, 14) meeting at the corner.
  8. Door frame according to claim 7, characterised in that two second spot welds (72) are provided on each fishplate (34, 36), these spot welds (72) being arranged in diagonal corner regions of the fishplate (34, 36).
  9. Door frame according to one of claims 6 to 8, characterised in that the sites of the second spot welds (72) are defined by welding projections (38) provided on the fishplates (34, 36) while they are still in the unwelded state.
  10. Door frame according to one of claims 6 to 9, characterised in that the or each fishplate extends in overlapping manner from the first partial element (18) to the associated side member (14) in order to join the first partial element (18) firmly to the side member (14).
  11. Door frame according to claim 5 and claim 10, characterised in that the fishplates (34, 36) are formed integrally or in one piece with the angle member (18).
