Definitions
- the invention relates to a water fitting, in particular a single-hole mixer tap for washbasins and sinks or the like, with a housing which has at least one connection opening for the water inlet and at least one water outlet opening, a metal line being sealed in the connection opening with an O-ring and with a is held in the plug-in position on an axially securing element.
- a water fitting with a pipe connection is known from German Offenlegungsschrift 23 04 658.
- one line for cold water and one for hot water is introduced in sealed fashion into connection openings formed in parallel in a base extending through an opening in a washstand.
- a plate provided with through bores for the two lines is provided for the axial securing, which plate can be screwed to the base in the projecting area.
- the screwing process and the means for this are relatively complex.
- water fittings without a housing base are increasingly being used for reasons of cost and material savings, in which only one clamping bolt reaches through the washbasin opening and the lines are led into the fitting body above the washbasin. With these fittings, it can be problematic, particularly for reasons of space, to provide the known plate for axially fixing the lines.
- the invention is based, for a water fitting the task to propose an improved pipe connection, which can be implemented particularly cost-effectively is and takes up little space.
- the advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that a releasable and secure plug connection is created for each individual pipeline with relatively simple measures, which requires relatively little space in the fitting housing.
- the valve body which is usually produced using the brass casting process, can be produced in a simplified manner, since a special fastening piece can be dispensed with, so that a reduction in weight and material savings can be achieved.
- the clip ring required for locking can be manufactured inexpensively using the injection molding process.
- the pipe connection connection according to the invention is compact and can be assembled and disassembled on site by anyone without special tools, so that, for example, the connection pipes can be easily replaced in the event of a faulty installation.
- the connecting lines can advantageously be designed as copper pipes or as hoses each provided with a plug part.
- a water fitting is shown only in part in the form of a water mixing valve.
- a part of the housing 1 is shown, which is arranged in a sleeve-shaped housing part, not shown in the drawing, in a known manner.
- two parallel connection openings 11 are provided for the incoming cold and hot water.
- annular groove 12 is formed with a support shoulder 13.
- the connection openings 11 are each guided through the housing 1 with a channel narrowing in the flow direction and open into a mixing valve cartridge, which is not shown in the drawing and is arranged above the housing 1 in a known manner.
- the respective connection opening 11 as can be seen in particular from FIG.
- a line 2 made of copper tube with an outer diameter of approximately 10 mm is arranged.
- a radially protruding circumferential collar 21 is formed in the upper end region of the line 2 by compression.
- an elastic O-ring 4 is arranged, which brings about a seal between the outer wall of the line 2 and the connection opening 11.
- a clip ring 3 is loosely slipped over the line 2 below the collar 21 and rests with an end face 31 on the lower side of the collar 21.
- the clip ring 2 is provided with a closed ring area 34 on which the end face 31 is also formed.
- Four resilient tongues 32 are formed symmetrically on the ring region 34 on the side opposite the end face 31.
- the resilient tongues 32 are each separated from one another by a slot 35 which extends axially to the ring region 34.
- a radially projecting ring-shaped projection 33 is formed on the outer jacket after about a third of the total length of the tongues 32.
- the area of the tongues 32 projecting beyond the projection 33 serves for manual deflection of the projections 33 out of the annular groove 12.
- the projections 33 of the four tongues 32 engage in the annular groove 12, whereby they rest axially on a support shoulder 13 and prevent the line 2 from being pulled out of the connection opening 11 and / or being pressed out by the water pressure present.
- the tongues 32 with their projection 33 have a circular arc region 321 of approximately 70 °.
- the individual projections can expediently have a circular arc region 321 of 5 ° to 80 °, preferably of 15 ° to 70 °. It is essential here that a manual deflection of the projections 33 from the annular groove 12 with the resilient tongues 32 is made possible.
- the clip ring 3 is made of plastic, preferably of polyoxymethylene (POM) by injection molding.
- Lines 2 can be connected in the following way: First, the O-ring 4 is pushed onto the front area of the line provided with the collar 21 and then the front area with the O-ring 4 is inserted into the connection opening 11. Then the line 2 of the clip ring 3 can be slipped on from the other end region. A conical depression 14 is formed in the housing 1 at the lower exit region of the connection opening 11.
- the projections 33 are also provided with a conical surface 36 which tapers in the direction of insertion, whereby the tongues 32 are deflected resiliently in the direction of the outer surface of the line 2 during an axial insertion, so that the projections 33 extend through the enlarged initial area the connection opening 1 can slide axially until the annular groove 12 is reached, where the tongues 32 spring back with the projections 33 into the annular groove 12.
- the lower, sharp-edged end face of the projection 33 bears against the support shoulder 13, so that axial pulling out is prevented.
- Line 2 is to be removed from connection opening 11 first, those from the connection opening 11 protruding end portions of the resilient tongues 32 again in the direction of the outer surface of line 2 by hand deflect so that the projections 33 from the Ring groove 12 free and the clip ring 3 with the line 2 axially pulled out of the connection opening 11 can be. So that a corresponding elastic bending possibility the resilient tongues 32 guaranteed are slightly conical on the inner jacket, which gives a sufficiently large swivel angle is, as in Fig. 1 in the right half of the picture dashed lines is indicated.
- a further embodiment of a water fitting connection is shown.
- the water fitting is only shown in the area of a connection opening 110 with a broken-out part of the housing 100.
- a line 200 with a collar 210 and a slipped-on O-ring 400 is arranged in the connection opening 110, as can be seen from FIG. 6.
- a clip ring 300 is provided, which is provided with two diametrically opposite resilient tongues 320, on the outer jacket of which a projection 330 is formed.
- the associated projections 330 on the tongues 320 here have an arc region 3301 of approximately 30 °, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 9.
- the clip ring 300 lies here with an end face 310 formed on the ring area 340 on the collar 210 in the plug-in position.
- the tongues 320 are each delimited with a slot 350 to the remaining wall of the clip ring 300.
- Provided in the housing 100 in the connection opening 110 are two pockets 120 which are formed corresponding to the circular arc region 3301 and are diametrically opposite.
- Two opposite flat surfaces 150 are formed in the wall of the front enlarged connection opening 110, offset from the two pockets 120.
- flat surfaces 370 are also integrally formed on the outer wall of the clip ring 300, so that the clip ring 300 is inserted into the connection opening 110 only in a certain rotational position in which the projections 330 can snap into the pockets 120 can.
- the outer end face of the connection opening 110 in the housing 100 is provided with a conical depression 140, and the projections 330 on the two tongues 320 have a correspondingly conically tapered lateral surface 360 in the insertion direction.
- a tab 380 of the length of the tongues 320 is formed in accordance with the space between the wall of the connection opening 110 and the outer wall of the line 200. The wall of the line 200 is thus supported radially in the plug-in position in the area of the housing 100 by the tabs 380, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 7, 8 and 11, so that a bending process for a subsequent adjustment of the line 200 is facilitated .
- the clip ring 300 can be manufactured entirely by injection molding.
- the housing 100 can also be produced from reinforced plastic using the injection molding process.
- two diametrically opposed tongues 320 and corresponding pockets 120 are provided for locking.
- only one or three, four or more tongues can be formed on the clip ring, in which case a corresponding number of pockets or an annular groove must be provided in the wall of the connection opening for latching.

Abstract
Description
vorzusehen. The invention relates to a water fitting, in particular a single-hole mixer tap for washbasins and sinks or the like, with a housing which has at least one connection opening for the water inlet and at least one water outlet opening, a metal line being sealed in the connection opening with an O-ring and with a is held in the plug-in position on an axially securing element.

The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that a releasable and secure plug connection is created for each individual pipeline with relatively simple measures, which requires relatively little space in the fitting housing.
In
Mischventilkartusche.
an.
Polyoximethylen (POM) im Spritzgießverfahren, hergestellt.1 to 5, a water fitting is shown only in part in the form of a water mixing valve. Here, a part of the

Fig. 6 zu entnehmen ist.
zur Verrastung vorzusehen sind.6 to 12 a further embodiment of a water fitting connection is shown. The water fitting is only shown in the area of a
