Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a mixer tap for washstands and sinks, bidets or the like. With the features listed in the preamble of
In a known mixer tap of this type (DE-GM 16 53 055), the battery is fastened with the aid of a washer and a clamping screw, the clamping screw being screwed into the battery housing from the underside of the washbasin, etc. In this case, the inlet and outlet lines to the battery housing and the clamping screw are passed through an opening in the washstand and through various openings in the washer. By screwing the clamping screw from the underside of the washbasin into the battery housing, the washbasin is clamped between the front side of the battery housing and the washer, whereby the mixer tap is anchored on the washbasin.
Attaching the mixer tap from the underside of the washbasin is often perceived as cumbersome and often causes difficulties, although special tools are sometimes required for the attachment.
The invention has for its object to design the mixer specified in the preamble of
This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of
Further refinements of the invention are specified in
The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the mixer tap according to the invention allows the mixer taps to be guided and fastened from the top of the washbasin and sink in a simple manner with the connecting lines etc. through the opening or opening. The attachment of the mixer taps on the mounting base can advantageously be designed as a bayonet connection. But also with a union nut etc. between the mounting base and the mixer tap a relatively easy to use attachment can be made. The mounting base can be formed in one piece with the washstand and sink or as a separate part that can be inserted later.
In the case of washstands and sinks made of sheet steel, the mounting base can advantageously be molded in one piece during the manufacture of the table.
In particular in the case of washstands and sinks made of ceramic material, on the other hand, the mounting base can be expediently designed as a separate part, the mounting base according to the invention being designed such that it can also be inserted and braced from the top of the table into the opening of the washbasin.
Here, the mounting base can advantageously be designed as a stepped sleeve, which can be inserted with its slimmer sleeve part into the opening of the washbasin and thereby comes into contact with the front surface of the stepped enlarged part of the sleeve on the upper washstand surface, with clamping means being provided on the stepped sleeve which can be attached to the wash and sink from the top of the sleeve.
On the other hand, the mounting base can also be designed as a relatively flat disc, which can be placed on the washstand or sink in the area of the opening from the top and which carries the clamping means under the table as well as the holding and fastening means for the mixer tap. Such a design can be expediently used for parts made of relatively thin materials, such as sheet metal, etc.
In the case of mixer taps where the supply lines are not factory-soldered to the battery housing, e.g. to reduce the space required for storage, and are only connected to the battery housing by means of a plug-in coupling when the mixer tap is installed, the mounting base can be expediently used with holding means for the pipelines be provided in such a way that when the mixer tap is plugged in, the tight connection to the pipes is also established.
In a preferred embodiment, the pipes can be held by means of a disk which can be inserted into the mounting base from the top of the washbasin and in which the pipes are held. The mounting of the supply lines can advantageously be made adjustable, so that mixer taps with different spacing dimensions of the connections can also be used for the supply lines.
In a further embodiment, the clamping means can be used as pivotable tabs are formed, which after being inserted into the opening by the fitter by hand through the opening for the supply lines of the mixer tap and actuating linkage for separate valves etc. are pivoted into a spreading position and then from the top with tensioning screws guided in the sleeve against the underside of the Table to be pressed. Alternatively, parallel to the central axis guided longitudinal slots, for example clamped claws with rubber cord rings in the spread position, such as are known for socket outlets in electrical installations.
Finally, the stepped sleeve can also be formed in two parts, both parts being screwable together by means of a thread. The part that can be inserted into the opening of the table is designed as a pipe socket and also has a plurality of diametrically opposite slots into which correspondingly dimensioned angular jaws can be inserted from the top of the table, so that the two sleeve parts are then clamped in the washbasin using the thread can be. The slits, which are arranged one above the other, are used to adapt to different washbasin thicknesses.

For the sake of simplicity, the same or corresponding elements are provided with the same reference numerals in the exemplary embodiments in the drawing. In the exemplary embodiments, a single-handle mixer tap with a
Another exemplary embodiment of the fastening device for the mixer tap according to FIG. 1 is shown in FIGS. 6 to 10. The stepped
The assembly with the fastening device described above can be carried out in the following manner: First, the
The stepped
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 11, the stepped sleeve can be manufactured inexpensively from plastic in an injection molding process. Also, instead of the bayonet connection between the
Another exemplary embodiment is shown in FIGS. 16 and 17.
