Description

The invention relates to a mixer tap with a fastening device for washbasins and sinks, bidets or the like. A mounting base which is designed at the opening of the table or can be inserted and fastened in the opening and has an opening for the supply lines, etc. is provided, which is designed as a stepped sleeve, the larger diameter part of which can be placed with an end face on the surface of the washbasin and sink and the smaller diameter part can be inserted into the opening, so that the battery housing protrudes from the top of the table The stepped sleeve can be held and the stepped sleeve can be fastened to the table by a clamping means which can be tightened against the underside of the table.
A device of this type is known from GB-A-2 024 377. The faucet body of this faucet is held pivotably in a pot-like receiving part, so that the outlet pipe, which is formed in one piece with the faucet body, can be brought into different pivot positions. The receiving part is equipped with a threaded base which can be passed through an opening of a sanitary object and is then clamped from the underside of the sanitary object for anchoring with a screw nut.
Attaching the mixer tap from the underside of the washbasin or sink is often perceived as cumbersome and often presents difficulties.

From DE-A-24 53 738 a device is also known in which the visible battery body is fastened with a screw to a holder consisting essentially of two plates. In the area of the opening, a plate is provided on the top and a further plate on the underside of a washstand and can be clamped with a bolt. It is also provided here that the lower plate consists of two parts which are articulated to one another on a shaft and can be swiveled towards one another to insert the plate from the top into the recess of a sanitary object, which parts are inserted into the recess for the purpose of applying the plate are unfoldable against the underside of the sanitary object.
However, this plate formation is relatively complex. In addition, the installation of this known device from the top of the washstand should be problematic.

The invention is therefore based on the object of designing the mixer tap described at the outset with the fastening device in such a way that the device and the mixer tap can be fastened in a manageable manner from the directly accessible top of the washbasin and sink, bidet or the like.

This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1, 2 or 3.
Further embodiments of the invention are specified in claims 4 to 9.

The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that both the mixer tap and the stepped sleeve can be attached and fastened in a simple manner from the top of the washbasin and sink. Here, the clamping means for the stepped sleeve can be pivoted Straps are formed, which are inserted by the fitter by hand through the opening for the supply lines of the mixer tap and actuating linkage for separate valves etc. into a spreading position and then from the top with tensioning screws guided in the sleeve jacket against the underside of the table be pressed. Alternatively, clamped claws, such as are known for socket outlets in electrical installations, can also be arranged in longitudinal slots that run parallel to the central axis, for example with rubber cord rings in the spreading position. In addition, the stepped sleeve can also be formed in two parts, both parts being screwable together by means of a thread. The part that can be inserted into the opening of the table is designed as a pipe socket and also has a plurality of diametrically opposite slots into which correspondingly dimensioned angular jaws can be inserted from the top of the table, so that the two sleeve parts are then clamped in the washbasin using the thread can be. The slits, which are arranged one above the other, are used to adapt to different washbasin thicknesses.
The attachment of the mixer taps to the stepped sleeve can advantageously be designed as a bayonet connection. But also with a union nut etc. between the stepped sleeve and the mixer tap a relatively easy to use attachment can be made.
Especially for sinks and sinks made of ceramic material, the separate step sleeve can be expediently equipped with a relatively long, slim sleeve part which can be inserted into the opening of the table. On the other hand, the stepped sleeve can also be designed as a relatively flat disc which can be placed on the washbasin or sink in the area of the opening from the top and which carries the clamping means under the table as well as the holding and fastening means for the mixer tap. Such a design can be expediently used for parts made of relatively thin materials, such as sheet metal, etc.

For mixer taps where the supply lines are not factory-soldered to the battery housing, e.g. to reduce the space required for storage, and are only connected to the battery housing by means of a plug-in coupling when the mixer tap is installed, the stepped sleeve can be expediently used with holding means for the pipelines be provided in such a way that when the mixer tap is plugged in, the tight connection to the pipes is also established.
In a preferred embodiment, the pipes can be held by means of a disk which can be inserted into the stepped sleeve from the top of the washbasin and in which the pipes are held. The mounting of the supply lines can advantageously be made adjustable, so that mixer taps with different spacing dimensions of the connections can also be used for the supply lines.

For the sake of simplicity, the same or corresponding elements are provided with the same reference numerals in the exemplary embodiments in the drawing.
In the exemplary embodiments, a single-handle mixer tap with a battery housing 1 is shown, in which a blind bore 12 is formed on the underside, into which the part 32, 321 of a stepped sleeve 3 having a larger diameter can be inserted. The battery housing 1 can be fastened with a bayonet lock 11 to the projecting part 32 of the stepped sleeve 3 and secured in the mounting position with the aid of a locking pin 15 or a screw 13. The supply lines 14 for the mixer tap and the possibly required actuation linkages for separately arranged valves below the wash basin are guided through an opening 31 in the stepped sleeve 3 below a wash basin 2.

The stepped sleeve 3, as shown in particular in Figures 3 to 5, has a smaller diameter part 33, which is dimensioned so that it can be inserted into an opening 21 of the washbasin 2, on the front side of the suddenly enlarged part a seal 16 can be attached.
The stepped sleeve 3 has two diametrically opposed thickenings in the area of the opening 31, wherein a clamping screw 35 is arranged in the thickenings parallel to the central axis in bores, which is connected via thread to a tab 36 each.
When installing the mixer tap, the stepped sleeve 3 with the smaller part 33 with the tabs 36 pivoted to the central axis is first inserted into the opening 21 of the washstand. Now it can be grasped by hand through the opening 31 in the stepped sleeve 3 and the two tabs 36 can be pivoted into the outer position, after which the stepped sleeve 3 can then be clamped firmly in the washstand 2 using a screwdriver with the aid of the clamping screws 35.
Thereafter, the mixer tap with the supply lines 14 etc. can be guided through the opening 31 and plugged with the blind hole 12 onto the larger part 32 and fastened with the help of the bayonet catch 11. Then the locking pin 15 (Figure 1, 2) or the screw 13 (Figure 3) can be used to secure the mounting position. The mixer tap is then mounted on the washstand and the supply lines 14 can be connected to the water supply network. The mixer tap is disassembled in the reverse order. If only the existing mixer tap is to be replaced with a new one, then the stepped sleeve 3 can remain mounted in the washstand.

Another exemplary embodiment of the fastening device for the mixer tap according to FIG. 1 is shown in FIGS. 6 to 10. The stepped sleeve 3 is formed from a pipe socket 331 and a washer 321, the two parts being connected to one another by means of a thread 37. A series of opposing slots 38 are formed in the pipe socket 331 at a distance from one another, into which angular jaws 39 can be hung depending on the thickness of the washstand 2, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 6, 9 and 10. The battery housing 1 is attached to the disk 321 in the same way as in the exemplary embodiment described above.
The assembly with the fastening device described above can be carried out in the following manner: First, the pipe socket 331 is lowered until the washer 321 with the seal 16 on the surface of the washstand 2. The angular jaws are then inserted from the top of the washbasin 2 through the opening 31 into the corresponding slots 38, the angular jaws with cheeks 391 reaching under the underside of the washstand 2. Now the disc 321 is rotated to the pipe socket 331 until the washstand between the cheeks 391 and the disc 321 is sufficiently braced. Thereafter, the rotational position of the pipe socket 331 to the disk 321 is secured with a locking screw 371, which is arranged radially in the disk 321. Finally, the mixer tap with the supply lines 14 can be passed through the stepped sleeve 3 and the disc 321 can be sunk into the blind bore 12 of the battery housing 1 and connected using the bayonet catch. To secure the mixer tap in the assembled position, the screws 13 are then screwed in, after which the mixer tap is mounted on the washstand.

FIGS. 11 to 15 show a modified exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 to 5. The stepped sleeve 3 here has flattenings in the opening 31 instead of thickenings projecting into the opening 31, as can be seen in particular from FIGS. 12, 13. On the outer jacket of the smaller diameter part 33 of the stepped sleeve 3, slots 381 are formed parallel to the flats parallel to the central axis. In the two opposite slots 381, a clamping screw 35 is arranged from the larger part 32 parallel to the central axis, each of which can be screwed into a sliding block 361, FIG. 15, with thread 351 arranged axially displaceably in the slot 381. An angle claw 391, FIG. 14, is supported above each on the sliding block 361 and is pivotably supported on the associated tensioning screw 35 by means of an elongated hole 393. The angle claw 391 is tightened with the aid of a rubber cord ring 392 in the spread position. During the insertion process of the stepped sleeve 3 into the opening 21 of the washstand 2, the two opposite angle brackets 391 are thus folded into the associated slots 381, as can be seen in particular from the right half of the figure in FIG. As soon as the angle claws 391 have passed through the opening 21, they are folded into their spreading position by the rubber cord ring 392, so that the stepped sleeve 3 can then be clamped to the washstand 2 using the clamping screws 35. Otherwise, the assembly process takes place in the same way as in the other exemplary embodiments shown.
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 3 and 11, the stepped sleeve can be manufactured inexpensively from plastic in an injection molding process. Also, instead of the bayonet connection between the Step sleeve 3 or mounting base, a union nut or the like connection, with which a secure mounting of the battery housing can be produced on the mounting base, can be provided.

Another exemplary embodiment is shown in FIGS. 16 and 17. The assembly of the stepped sleeve 3 in the wash basin 2 takes place in the same way as in the embodiment shown in FIG.
In this mixer tap, the supply lines 14 are not factory-connected to the battery housing 1, but are connected to the mixer tap during installation via plug connections. For this purpose, a disk-like insert 4 is provided which can be inserted from the front side of the larger part 32 of the stepped sleeve 3. The supply lines 14 are each held axially fixed with an annular bead 41 in a slot 43 of the insert 4.
After assembly of the stepped sleeve 3 in the washstand 2, the insert 4 with the supply lines 14 can thus be inserted and held in the part 32 of the stepped sleeve 3. When the mixer tap is plugged onto the part 32, the supply lines 14 with their projecting ends are then simultaneously inserted into appropriately designed openings in the battery housing and each sealed with one or more round cord sealing rings 42. The mixer tap can then be secured in the plug-in position as in the exemplary embodiments described above.
Instead of the slot 43, with which an adaptation to different connection distances of different mixer taps is made possible, different holes for receiving the supply lines 14 can also be formed in the insert 4. The supply lines 14 can also be attached directly to the stepped sleeve, so that a special use can then be omitted.
