  • a relatively precise wagon positioning system (20 centimeters approximately) will allow the train driver to check the correct positioning of the different wagons.
  • This system can be electric or by simple visual cues.
  • Boarding docks E1, E2, E3, will be fitted with curbs of guiding the trucks (3) over a length of 20 to 25 meters so that the truck awaiting boarding is in a straight line in front of the pivoting platform of the wagon. These borders will be in relief and painted.
  • the landing docks D1, D2, D3, like the loading docks, will be fitted with the same type of guide edges so as to constrain the truck to exit in a straight line over its entire length before starting a turn towards the exit (see Figure 1) If for any reason the truck driver had need to stop a few minutes before hitting the road, it's on this straight lane at the immediate exit of the platform that he will have to do it so as not to annoy others trucks nor the movement of the platform.
  • Each boarding platform and the locations of the wagons will be identified by panels visible day and night. Green and red traffic lights will be arranged at the entrance to platforms E1, E2, E3 to indicate to drivers whether or not they remain available locations. When all the locations of a boarding platform will be occupied by vehicles the red light will indicate to the arriving driver that he must directed to the second or third platform. Signs at the entrance to the quays will indicate the available locations.
