Claims (15)
- Device for releasing plates (2) with turned-down, smooth ends (3, 4) from a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, the cylinder (1) being provided with a narrow, axial insertion slot (8), which is connected to a recess (16) running in the axial direction, to accommodate the limbs (11; 12) of the turned-down ends (3; 4) of the plate (2), there being provided in the recess (16) a holder (18) which can be pivoted about its longitudinal axis (17) and has a number of sprung clamping pieces (G) that press against a turned-down edge (12) of the plate (2), and for the clamping pieces (G) being capable of movement in the radial direction of the holder (18), characterized in that all the clamping pieces (G) or some of the clamping pieces (G) have a protrusion (21) which can be brought into contact with an end face (5) of the end (20, 34) of a limb (12) to be pushed out or an end face (10), remote from the end of the limb, of an opening (31) in the end (20, 34) of the limb (12) to be pushed out.
- Device for releasing plates (2) with turned-down, smooth ends (3, 4) from a cylinder (1) of a rotary printing machine, the cylinder (1) being provided with a narrow, axial insertion slot (8), which is connected to a recess (16) running in the axial direction, to accommodate the limbs (11; 12) of the turned-down ends (3; 4) of the plate (2), there being provided in the recess (16) a holder (18) which can be pivoted about its longitudinal axis (17) and has a number of sprung clamping pieces (G) that press against a turned-down edge (12) of the plate (2), and for the clamping pieces (G) being capable of movement in the radial direction of the holder (18), characterized in that apart from a number of clamping pieces (G) carrying out a pure clamping function, provision is additionally made for a number of sprung push-out strips (22) which carry out a pushing-out function and extend in the axial and radial or secant direction, in that the push-out strips (22) has [sic] a push-out face (15) which can be brought into contact with an end face (5) of the end (20, 34) of a limb (12) to be pushed out or an end face (10), remote from the end of the limb, of an opening (31) in the end (20, 34) of the limb (12) to be pushed out, and in that compression springs (27) are arranged between the push-out strip (22) and the holder (18).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the holder (18) is designed as a spindle (18).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the hooks or protrusions (21) are arranged on a push-out strip (22) extending in the axial direction.
- Device according to Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the push-out strip (22) is arranged in an axial groove (23) in the spindle (18).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that blind drilled holes (26) starting from the base of the groove (23) are provided in the radial direction of the holder (18) to accommodate compression springs (27) acting against the push-out strip (22) and/or clamping strip (G).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the clamping strip (G) extends over the entire length of the groove (23).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that a number (n) of push-out strips (22) are provided in the groove (23).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the clamping pieces (G) have a round cross section.
- Device according to Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the clamping pieces (G) have a a [sic] cross section like a stepped half-disc on the end face (25) of the clamping pieces (G) which faces the slot (8) (Fig. 1; Fig. 2).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the push-out strips (22) have a square and/or rectangular cross section and/or, on the end face (25) of the push-out strips (22) which faces the slots (8), have a cross section like a stepped half-disc (Fig. 1; Fig. 2).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that a leading edge (29) of the protrusions (21) presses against the limbs (12) of the trailing end (4) during the operation of pushing out the turned-down limbs (11, 12).
- Device according to Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the leading edge (29) of the protrusions (21) acts against the end (34) of the limb (12) while the limb (12) is being pushed out.
- Device according to Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the leading edge (29) of the protrusions (21) acts against an end face (10) located in a recess (31) in the limb (12) while the limb (12) of the trailing end (4) is being pushed out.
- Device according to Claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the push-out strip (22) has, in addition to the device (25) for pushing out a limb (12), a device (21) having a curvature for clamping the two limbs (11; 12).
