Description

La présente invention a pour objet une palette de manutention qui peut être réalisée en carton, en matière plastique, en bois moulé, ou tout autre matériau.
Les palettes de manutention en carton actuelles sont généralement constituées de longerons formant le plancher supportant la charge et de traverses reliant les longerons parallèlement entre eux, lesdits longerons reposant directement sur le sol ou toute autre surface. Une telle palette est connue par exemple du document US-A-4 867 074.
Un des problèmes posés par ce type de palettes en matériau non rigide tient à la résistance des éléments les constituant, et notamment à la faible résistance des longerons à l'écrasement. Pour y remédier on a proposé de réaliser des longerons à partir de feuilles de carton pliées plusieurs fois, de manière à obtenir des longerons d'une plus grande solidité.
Toutefois les palettes ainsi réalisées présentent des risques de voilage du fait que les différents éléments qui les constituent ne sont pas complètement bloqués en position. En outre les opérations de pliage des feuilles en carton destinées à former les longerons, et la quantité de matériau qu'elles nécessitent, conduisent à des coûts de fabrication élevés.
La présente invention a pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients en proposant une palette qui présente une bonne résistance à la charge et un coût de fabrication plus faible.
La palette selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement en ce qu'elle comprend d'une part un plateau dont la face supérieure est destinée à recevoir la charge et dont la face inférieure et munie d'éléments de renforts longitudinaux ou transversaux pliés en U ou en V ; et d'autre part des éléments de support longitudinaux ou transversaux dudit plateau, également pliés en U ou en V, solidarisés longitudinalement ou transversalement aux éléments de renfort par emboítement réciproque d'encoches pratiquées dans lesdits éléments de renfort et de support.
Dans un premier mode de réalisation de la palette selon l'invention, les éléments de renfort sont fixés par leurs bords longitudinaux à la face inférieure du plateau et les bords longitudinaux des éléments de support leur sont solidarisés perpendiculairement, par emboítement réciproque d'encoches pratiquées d'une part dans les bords longitudinaux des éléments de support et d'autre part dans le pli longitudinal des éléments de renfort, la palette reposant sur les plis longitudinaux des éléments de support.
Dans ce mode de réalisation le plateau peut être formé d'une plaque d'une certaine épaisseur ou de planches juxtaposées.
Dans un deuxième mode de réalisation de la palette selon l'invention, le plateau est constitué de l'ensemble des seuls éléments de renfort, lesquels sont solidarisés aux éléments de support par emboítement réciproque à l'aide d'encoches pratiquées dans les éléments de support et de lumières pratiquées dans les éléments de renfort.
Dans ce mode de réalisation tant les éléments de renfort que les éléments de support sont constitués de l'assemblage d'un premier flanc de carton plié en U ou en V avec un deuxième flanc de carton plié de manière que s'y emboítent les bords longitudinaux du premier flanc, que le deuxième recouvre jusqu'à une certaine hauteur.
Les avantages et les caractéristiques de la présente invention ressortiront plus clairement de la description qui suit et qui se rapporte au dessin annexé, étant entendu que cette description ne présente aucun caractère limitatif vis à vis de l'invention.
Dans le dessin annexé :
  • la figure 1 représente une vue en perspective d'une palette de manutention selon l'invention dans un premier mode de réalisation.
  • la figure 2 représente une vue en perspective d'un mode de réalisation particulier des éléments de support de la palette selon l'invention, aptes à recevoir la fourche d'un engin élévateur.
  • la figure 3 représente une vue en perspective de la palette selon l'invention dans un deuxième mode de réalisation.
  • la figure 4 représente une vue en perspective de la palette selon l'invention dans un troisième mode de réalisation.
  • la figure 5 représente une vue en perspective partielle d'un élément de support de la palette représentée à la figure 4.
  • les figures 6a et 6b représentent des vues en perspective partielle de deux variantes de réalisation d'un élément de renfort de la même palette.
  • la figure 7 représente une vue en perspective partielle d'un élément de support muni d'un moyen pour l'assemblage de deux palettes.
Si on se réfère à la figure 1 on peut voir que dans un premier mode de réalisation la palette selon l'invention comprend d'une part un plateau 1 destiné à supporter des charges, constitué de plusieurs feuilles de carton 10 d'une certaine épaisseur superposées et solidarisées entre elles par collage, et d'autre part des éléments de renfort 2 du plateau 1, réalisés à partir de feuilles de carton d'une certaine épaisseur pliées en V. Les éléments de renfort 2 sont solidarisés à la face inférieure 11 du plateau 1 grâce à des évidements longitudinaux 12, régulièrement espacés, dont une partie d'un seul évidement 12 est visible sur la figure. La solidarisation des éléments de renfort 2 est rendue possible par l'élasticité transversale de leurs côtés, dont les bords longitudinaux 21 sont calés dans le fond des épaulements 13 créés par les évidements 12.
On peut voir également sur la figure 1 les éléments de support 3 du plateau 1, disposés perpendiculairement aux éléments de renfort 2 et constitués de flancs de carton pliés en V et comportant chacun des encoches 30 pratiquées dans leurs bords longitudinaux 31, destinées à s'emboíter dans des encoches 20 pratiquées dans le pli longitudinal 22 des éléments de renfort 2 afin de les solidariser à ces derniers grâce à leur élasticité transversale. La palette ainsi constituée repose sur le sol ou toute autre surface par l'intermédiaire des plis longitudinaux 32 des éléments de support 3.
Les éléments de support 3 peuvent avantageusement avoir une section transversale en forme de U, plus particulièrement adaptée à supporter des charges lourdes.
Si on se réfère à la figure 2 on peut voir que les éléments de support 3 peuvent être constitués de l'assemblage de deux éléments 33 et 34 de section transversale en forme de U emboítés l'un 34 dans l'autre 33, destinés à être solidarisés à la face inférieure 11 du plateau 1 par leurs bords longitudinaux 31. L'élément de support externe 33 comporte deux découpes 36 pratiquées dans son fond 37, pour le passage de la fourche d'un engin élévateur. Les dimensions de l'élément interne 34 sont déterminées de manière que son fond 35 se trouve légèrement sous le bord supérieur des découpes 36, ce qui permet d'éviter d'abímer ce dernier lors du soulèvement de la palette.
Si on se réfère à la figure 3 on peut voir que dans un deuxième mode de réalisation la palette selon l'invention comprend des éléments de renfort 80 de section transversale en forme de V dont les bords longitudinaux 87 sont solidarisés à des planches de carton 81 réalisées à partir de l'assemblage de plusieurs feuilles de carton rectangulaires 82 superposées. Les éléments de renfort 80 sont reliés entre eux par des éléments de support 83 de section en V comportant dans leurs bords longitudinaux 88 des découpes 85 aptes à s'emboíter dans des découpes 84 pratiquées dans le pli longitudinal 86 des éléments de renfort 80. La face supérieure de la palette est dans ce cas formée par les faces supérieures des planches 81 juxtaposées, mais non jointives.
Si on se réfère à la figure 4 on peut voir que dans un troisième mode de réalisation la palette selon l'invention comprend un plateau 6 formé par des éléments de renfort 60 de section transversale en V solidarisés à des éléments de support 70 également de section en V.
Les éléments de renfort 60 sont solidarisés aux éléments de support 70 par emboítement réciproque à l'aide d'encoches 71 pratiquées dans les éléments de support 70 et de lumières 69 pratiquées dans les éléments de renfort 60.
Les éléments de renfort 60 et les éléments de support 70 sont constitués de l'assemblage d'un premier flanc de carton 62,72 plié en V avec un deuxième flanc de carton 63,73 plié en U, recouvrant le premier sur une certaine hauteur.
Les bases 74 des deuxièmes flancs 73 des éléments de support 70 reposent sur le sol et peuvent être recouvertes d'un revêtement ou d'un enduit isolant, tandis que les bases 64 des deuxièmes flancs 63 des éléments de renfort 60 forment le plateau de la palette.
En outre afin d'éviter des déformations au niveau des encoches 71 des éléments de support 70, celles-ci sont pratiquées de telle manière que les bords longitudinaux 66 des branches 65 du U des deuxièmes flancs 63 des éléments de renfort 60 reposent sur les plis longitudinaux 77 des éléments de support 70 et que les plis longitudinaux 67 des éléments de renfort 60 viennent en appui sur le fond des encoches 71 pratiquées dans les éléments de support 70.
De manière à renforcer la solidarisation des éléments de support 70 et des éléments de renfort 60 ces derniers peuvent comporter, comme on peut le voir sur la figure 6a, un troisième flanc 68 de section transversale en V disposé contre la face interne du premier flanc 62 et dans lequel sont pratiquées des lumières 69 situées à courte distance des extrémités des branches du U formé par le deuxième flanc 63, en regard des encoches 61 pratiquées dans le premier flanc 62. Ainsi les extrémités rentrantes 76 des encoches 71 des éléments de support 70, visibles sur la figure 5, viennent se loger dans les lumières 68 en bloquant de manière efficace l'assemblage des éléments de support 70 avec les éléments de renfort 60.
Dans la variante de réalisation représentée à la figure 6b les éléments de renfort 60 comportent un seul flanc 62 muni de lumières 69 dans lesquelles viennent s'engager les extrémités rentrantes 76 des encoches 71 des éléments de support 70.
Si on se réfère enfin à la figure 7 on peut voir sur cette figure un élément de support 70 muni à l'une de ses extrémités d'une pièce d'assemblage 78 de même forme mais de dimensions légèrement inférieures, faisant saillie hors de l'élément de support 70 pour permettre son assemblage avec un autre élément de support 70' d'une palette voisine. Ce dispositif permet l'assemblage rapide de deux palettes pour en constituer une de dimensions supérieures, dont le désassemblage est également facile et rapide.

Claims (8)

  1. Palette de manutention caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend d'une part un plateau (1,8,6) dont la face supérieure est destinée à recevoir la charge et dont la face inférieure est munie d'éléments de renforts (2,80,60) longitudinaux ou transversaux pliés en U ou en V ; et d'autre part des éléments de support (3,83,70) longitudinaux ou transversaux dudit plateau, également pliés en U ou en V, solidarisés longitudinalement ou transversalement aux éléments de renfort (2,80,60) par emboítement réciproque d'encoches (20,30 ; 84,85 ; 61,71) pratiquées dans lesdits éléments de renfort (2, 80, 60) et de support (3, 83, 70).
  2. Palette selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les éléments de renfort (2, 80) sont fixés par leurs bords longitudinaux (21, 87) à la face inférieure du plateau (1, 8) et les bords longitudinaux (31, 88) des éléments de support (3, 83) leur sont solidarisés perpendiculairement, par emboítement réciproque d'encoches (20,30 ; 84,85) pratiquées d'une part dans les bords longitudinaux (31, 88) des éléments de support (3, 83) et d'autre part dans le pli longitudinal (32, 86) des éléments de renfort (3, 80), la palette reposant sur les plis longitudinaux (32, 89) des éléments de support (3,83).
  3. Palette selon la revendication 2 caractérisée en ce que le plateau comporte une plaque (1) d'une certaine épaisseur ou de planches juxtaposées (81).
  4. Palette selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que le plateau (6) est constitué de l'ensemble des seuls éléments de renfort (60), lesquels sont solidarisés aux éléments de support (70) par emboítement réciproque à l'aide d'encoches (71) pratiquées dans les plis longitudinaux (77) des éléments de support (70) et de lumières (69) pratiquées dans les éléments de renfort (60).
  5. Palette selon la revendication 4 caractérisée en ce que les éléments de renfort (60) et les éléments de support (70) sont chacun constitués de l'assemblage d'un premier flanc de carton (62,72) plié en U ou en V avec un deuxième flanc de carton (63,73) plié de manière que s'y emboítent les bords longitudinaux du premier flanc (62,72), que le deuxième recouvre jusqu'à une certaine hauteur.
  6. Palette selon la revendication 5 caractérisée en ce que le premier flanc (62) des éléments de renfort (60) comporte des lumières (69) situées à courte distance des extrémités des branches du U formé par le deuxième flanc (63).
  7. Palette selon la revendication 5 caractérisée en ce que les éléments de renfort (60) comportent un troisième flanc (68) de section transversale en V disposé contre la face interne du premier flanc (62) et dans lequel sont pratiquées des lumières (69) situées à courte distance des extrémités des branches du U formé par le deuxième flanc (63), en regard d'encoches (61) pratiquées dans le premier flanc (62).
  8. Palette selon l'une des revendications 4 à 7 caractérisée en ce qu'un élément de support (70) est muni à l'une de ses extrémités d'une pièce d'assemblage (78) de même forme mais de dimensions légèrement inférieures, faisant saillie hors de l'élément de support (70) pour permettre son assemblage avec un autre élément de support (70') d'une palette voisine.
