Abstract

Durch den Abstand der Elektrodenspitzen einer Funkenstrecke wird die mögliche Energie einer Stoßwelle limitiert, da der Abstand die mögliche Spannung bestimmt. Ist der Abstand der Elektrodenspitzen zu klein, bleibt ein Teil der gespeicherten Primärenergie ungenutzt, denn nur ein Teil der Energie bewirkt den Durchschlag und transformiert zur akustischen Energie, der Rest dagegen transformiert zu Wärmeenergie.. Ist der Abstand der Elektrodenspitzen zu groß, kommt es nur zu einer Teilentladung über die Unterwasserfunkenstrecke, bzw. es kommt zu keiner Entladung. Die Erfindung erlaubt die automatische Anpassung des Elektrodenabstandes einer Funkenstrecke zur Erzeugung von Stoßwellen, indem die Entladekurve des Kondensators oder die Entladekurve der Funkenstrecke ermittelt und mit bestimmten Soll-Werten verglichen wird und entsprechend der ermittelten Abweichung der Abstand der Funkenstreckenelektroden automatisch korrigiert wird. Der Vergleich der Soll-Werte kann z.B. dadurch erfolgen, daß das Signal des gemessenen Spannungsverlaufs, einer halbsinusförmigen Kurve, integriert und nach anschließender Invertierung ein Ausgangssignal erzeugt wird, dessen steil abfallende Flanke mit Referenzwerten verglichen und bei entsprechendem unter- bzw. überschreiten der Referenzwerte der Elektrodenabstand automatisch über eine Einstelleinrichtung angepaßt wird.
