- the invention aims to provide an electrical connection unit to create the type mentioned, which is solvable and a high degree of reliability of the function through a secure contact guaranteed.
- the control line should between the functional unit, e.g. directly on the cylinder head is mounted under the cylinder head cover, and the control unit in the engine compartment according to the ambient conditions, such as high vibration load and high ambient temperature, be protected as much as possible.
- connection serving as a connection the functional unit located on the internal combustion engine with the control line of the control unit as a plug connection by means of plug contacts and resilient pressure contact is trained.
- the contacting can be realized by pressure pins be on the contact side and under the effect of the spring force of an associated compression spring when The contacts are quasi pre-stressed at the counter contact issue.
- the basic principle of the contact system according to the invention is thus the pressure contact.
- One called a contact pad Contact surface is against the counter surface with a defined force serving end face of a pressure contact pin pressed.
- the spring force is such that the Spring mass system which can compensate for high vibrations, which effectively prevents contact interruptions. Besides, is so also a safe residual contact force over the entire Guaranteed service life.
- Another advantage is that the pressure of the contact system for possible contamination, e.g. B. due to engine oil, for example on the lenticular Contact tip of the contact pin or assigned contact area can be displaced.
- the associated line is attached to the pressure pin, preferably by means of crimp connection, by the sleeve of the pressure pin is squeezed.
- each push pin is by sealed with a single wire seal.
- the cable routing is the control line provided on the engine block by means of a cable rail
- the one terminal block for connection to the control line has and separate contact points, which are connected to the connection block via individual conductors.
- each is the one with the respective one Pressure contact pins connected individual lines in this line rail protected to the front of the cylinder head led where they are in the as push pin strip according to the Invention trained terminal block opens. This is ensures that neither vibrations nor heat those in the immediate vicinity of the hot cylinder head Damage individual conductors of the control lines.

- connection block several connection variants possible.
- the Cable rail firmly connected to the cylinder head, preferably screwed to the cylinder head.
- An advantage of the push pin strip according to the invention resides in that the entire contact system is oil-tight or gas-tight seals so that the pollution or damage respectively Avoid touching the pink contacts as much as possible is by the conductor rail the individual conductors arranged therein and oil-tight encloses the discrete contact points.
- connection block and the contact points are each designed as a multiple connector.
- a further design variant expediently sees the Invention before that the terminal block and the contact places each from a connector housing designated as a push pin connector made of plastic with integrated printing pins are.
- the Contact surfaces of the functional unit, which immediately the cylinder head is attached as molded contact pads are formed, which are arranged in the correct position.
- the contacting of the pressure pins takes place automatically during assembly when screwing the plug unit onto the cylinder head, by placing the contact pads on the push pins in the discrete contact locations of the already installed cable rail.
- the Print pins By guiding the pressure pins in the pressure pin strip mentioned, which preferably has a plastic housing and Is part of the channel-like cable rail, the Print pins assigned to the contact surfaces of the control unit and at the same time the lines in the line rail guided. It also makes every contact point quasi encapsulated between control unit and cable rail, that means surrounded by a wall on the outside.
- this Plug housing which is advantageously made of heat and oil resistant Plastic consists of at least one chamber, which receives at least one pressure pin.
- each chamber there is a movable, that is to say displaceable guided slide provided, which in the rest position covers at least one pressure pin located in the chamber and pollution caused by oil and dirt and protects against contact and damage and can be locked is.
- the pressure pins are in the Pushpin protected by the slide.
- Each pressure pin is advantageously associated with one Single line, for example connected by means of a crimp connection is, each pressure pin is guided in the associated chamber and additionally sealed with a single wire seal is.
- Fig. 1 is an oblique view of an electrical connection unit 10 shown by a conductor rail 12 and a functional unit 14 contacting them with individual ones Functional blocks 16 is formed on the top of an excerpted cylinder head 18 arranged an internal combustion engine, not shown and each a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, not shown in detail assigned.
- Both the conductor rail 12 and the functional unit 14 are rigid, preferably by means of a screw connection, not shown, with which Cylinder head 18 connected.
- connection block 20 has contact pins 22 which, as from this illustration removable, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cable rail 12 aligned in a transverse to the longitudinal axis Level are arranged side by side.
