- the quantity of adhesive deposited represents a point of equilibrium between multiple factors connected with the intrinsic properties of the printable adhesive, the mechanical strength of the squeegee, the mechanical strength of the perforated plate, the thickness of this plate (because the greater the thickness the holes pass through, the more adhesive they can hold and release), and the thickness of the covering on the outside of the clothing formed by the gelatins which then set into a very hard resin.
- the thickness of the outer covering affects the distance between the clothing and the surface to be printed with the adhesive 25 pressed by the squeegee 8 and variously absorbed by adhesion by the printable surface of the backing 1 owing to the action of the back pressure drum 15.
- nickel-chromium clothings having a thickness of 210 microns and a 100 "mesh” perforation. It also uses two layers of masking gelatin (for creating the design to be printed) so as to give "non-inking" thicknesses on the outside of the clothings that are very great and compatible with the relatively high density of the adhesive 25.
- Said adhesive is preferably of acrylic type (e.g. that known by the trade mark ACRONAL 290 D from BASF), but the method can also be carried out with other adhesives, such as vinyl type adhesives.
- the high viscosity of the printable adhesive creates the manufacturing problem of a gradual accumulation of the adhesive at the open ends of the clothing (i.e. of the printing cylinder 6): such an accumulation creates "rings" of adhesive which ooze out at the sides and can be picked up simply by the movements of parts around the outside of the clothing. This would cause the rings to become flattened onto the backing 1, which would thereby be soiled - in other words continuously ruined, causing immense damage.
- the method provides for the elimination of this potential event by employing two dedicated suction pumps, preferably of the diaphragm type; these pumps are positioned at the two open ends of the clothing and close to the two ends of the squeegee 8 in order to remove the adhesive that would tend to ooze out of said printing cylinder or clothing.
- the resulting product has the advantage of being thick, semirigid and composed primarily of mineral substances. In addition it is suitable for hanging definitively while yet being easy to remove (strippable) when required. Since its surface is made with different materials and porosities (1, 24; 25, 18) it has the advantage that bitonal chromatic effects can be obtained with a single coat of paint.

Claims (9)
- Verfahren zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von Bögen (23) für Wandbekleidungen, wobei ein nichtgewebter Träger (1) aus Glasfaser durch Rotationssiebdruck eines Klebemittels (25), das Teilchen (18) aufnehmen kann, die in regelbaren Mengen (19) gleichförmig auf ihn geschüttet werden, mit dekorativen Mustern bedruckt wird, die große Flächen (24) ohne Klebemittel umfassen, und Teilchen (18), die auf Flächen des nichtgewebten Trägers liegen, die nicht mit dem druckbaren Klebemittel (25) bedeckt sind, durch Absaugen und anschließendes Blasen (26) entfernt werden, bevor der verarbeitete Bogen. (23) zum Trocknen des oben erwähnten Klebemittels in einen Ofen gelangt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Teilchen (18) Körner aus Sand, d. h. Quarz, sind und die Teilchen (18) geschüttet werden, wenn der bedruckte nichtgewebte Träger im Begriff ist, eine tiefeliegende Walze (12) in einem 180°-Bogen zu umlaufen, und dadurch eine Vertiefung bildet, um die fallenden Teilchen (18) zu sammeln und sie durch den Kontaktdruck des nichtgewebten Trägers an der halbzylindrischen Oberfläche der Umlenkwalze (12) gewaltsam einzubetten.
- Verfahren nach dem vorhergehenden Anspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es eine Nickelchromumhüllung oder einen Druckzylinder (6) mit einer Dicke von 210 µm und einer Perforation der Maschenzahl 100 verwendet, wobei die Umhüllung mit zwei Gelatineschichten behandelt ist und die zweite Gelatineschicht, die z. B. Epoxit enthalten kann, in einer axialen Bewegung in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zu derjenigen, in welcher die erste Schicht aufgebracht wurde, auf die bereits ausgehärtete erste Schicht aufgetragen wird, um die Dicke gleichmäßiger zu machen.
- Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch einen langen rechteckigen Behälter (27) zum Sammeln überschüssiger Teilchen (18), die auf die Presswalze (12) fallen, der unter der letzteren Walze angeordnet ist und sich über ihre Enden erstreckt, um Teilchen zu sammeln, die nicht an dem Klebemittel (25) haften geblieben sind, und um es zwei an den Enden dieses Behälters angeordneten Saugstutzen zu erlauben, sie wegzubefördern und sie zur Wiederverwendung zu einem Vorratsbehälter (20) zurückzuführen.
- Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch Beaufschlagen der bereits mit den Teilchen (18) versehenen Oberfläche des Bogens (23) mit einem Blasluftstrahl (26), der geeignet ist, die schwach anhaftenden Teilchen zu entfernen, bevor der Bogen in den Klebemittel-Trocknungsofen eintritt.
- Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch eine Druckwalze oder Umhüllung (6), die an ihren offenen Enden an dem unteren Ende der Seiten der Rakel (8) mit Saugeinlässen für eine Verdrängerpumpe, bevorzugt vom Membrantyp, ausgestattet ist, um das Klebemittel (25) zu entfernen, während es sich an jedem Ende der Rakel ansammelt, um es an dem Heraussickern an den Seiten und dem Erreichen und auf diese Weise Beschädigen der Vorderfläche bei Berührung mit dem nichtgewebten Träger (1), der bedruckt wird, zu hindern.
- Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch ein Siebdruckverfahren, das in einem Gleichgewicht zwischen der Viskosität des Klebemittels (25), dem Druck-Kontaktdruck (5, 6), der Haftung an dem Substrat (1), der Größe der Löcher der Umhüllung, der Dicke der Umhüllung und der Dicke der Maskiergelatine ausgeführt wird, das derart ist, um die Deposition des Klebemittels (25) unter Bildung feiner Löcher (28) zwischen den extrudierten Klebemittelscheiben (10A) auch nach der Deposition (19) und Pressung (12) der Teilchen (18) zu erlauben, um dem fertigen Bogen (23) eine angemessene Durchlässigkeit und Atmungsaktivität zu verleihen.
- Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen, gekennzeichnet durch eine Schicht des Klebemittels (25), deren Dicke derart ist, dass nachdem die Teilchen (18) hineingepresst worden sind, ihre Oberteile um ungefähr 15 % ihres gewöhnlichen Durchmessers daraus vorstehen.
- Bögen für Wandbekleidungen, die durch das Verfahren nach den vorhergehenden Ansprüchen hergestellt worden sind, mit einer Basisstruktur aus einem nichtgewebten Träger (1) aus Glasfaser, der für dekorative Zwecke durch ein Rotationssiebdruckverfahren bedruckt wurde, das ein Klebemittel (25) verwendet, das für die Einbettung und Fixierung von Teilchen (18) aushärtbar ist, die aus der Ebene des sie an dem nichtgewebten Träger (1) befestigenden Klebemittels vorstehen, wobei der dekorative Druck große Flächen (24) ohne Klebemittel umfasst, die daher geeignet sind, eine große Durchlässigkeit und Atmungsaktivität zu ermöglichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Teilchen Körner aus Sand, d. h. Quarz, sind.
- Bogen nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Struktur aus einem Glasfaservlies mit einer Deckgrundierung vorimprägniert ist, wobei die Grundierung bevorzugt aus einer auf Akrylharz und Titandioxid basierenden Verbindung besteht.
