Abstract

Der erfindungsgemäße Ventiltrieb einer Brennkraftmaschine besteht im wesentlichen aus mindestens zwei benachbarten Hubübertragungselementen (13,14), die durch ein hydraulisch verschiebbares Koppelelement (36) in einer gekoppelten Stellung miteinander und in der ungekoppelten Stellung unabhängig voneinander verschieblich sind. Die Hubübertragungselemente wirken mit dem Nocken (3) einer Nockenwelle (4) zusammen, der unterschiedliche Nockenbahnen (15,16,17) aufweist. Dabei wirken Nockenbahnen (15,16,17) mit unterschiedlichen Hubverläufen mit den Hubübertragungslementen (13,14) zusammen. Um im Betrieb der Brennkraftmaschine undefinierte Schaltzustände zu vermeiden und bei jedem Schaltvorgang für das Verschieben des Koppelelementes (36) ausreichend Zeit zur Verfügung zu haben, wirkt dieses mit einem Verriegelungselement zusammen, das das Koppelelement (36) in Abhängigkeit von der Nockenbahn (15) verriegelt bzw. entriegelt.
