Definitions
- the invention relates to a method and a device for operating a Fire extinguishing dry sprinkler system.
- Dry sprinkler systems are known. you will be often used in rooms at risk of frost to avoid having a Sprinkler pipe network filled with extinguishing water freezes. With the help of a compressor Sprinkler pipe network preferably filled with compressed air at 2.5 bar. Between the Sprinkler pipe network and the fire water line, a dry alarm valve is switched, whose valve plate due to a pressure balance between air pressure and Water pressure is kept closed. In the event of a fire, a sprinkler opens, then the compressed air escapes from the sprinkler pipe network and thus from the air chamber of the Dry alarm valve.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for operating a Fire extinguishing dry sprinkler system. Dry sprinkler systems are known. you will be often used in rooms at risk of frost to avoid having a Sprinkler pipe network filled with extinguishing water freezes. This is due to the higher pressure of the extinguishing water Valve plate of the dry alarm valve opened so that the piping system up to fills the sprinklers with extinguishing water and then extinguishes a fire from the Sprinklers emerges. By the time the fire water from the sprinklers emerges, a time passes in which a fire can spread.
The invention has for its object to provide a device with which Sprinkler pipe network vented faster and thus the full fire water performance faster queues at the sprinklers.
This object is achieved in that the ventilation of the piping system and the The alarm valve is opened via separate devices. Both the opening of the Alarm valve, as well as the quick opening for venting the pipe system are controlled by a fire alarm center. The quick opening for the Bleeding of the pipeline system carried out with electrically controlled means. The Opening of the alarm valve is assisted pneumatically or electrically.
This measure ensures that the extinguishing water reaches the sprinkler faster and that also the individual sprinkler groups with a dry alarm valve can be increased in volume.
So far, the guidelines stipulated that the extinguishing water should be there at least within 2 minutes after opening a sprinkler. Recently the guideline has been changed in such a way that the water has to be at the sprinkler within 60 seconds. In order to achieve this 60 seconds, the air volume of the sprinkler pipe system could be a maximum of 4 m 3 .
If the 60 seconds are not reached, the sprinkler group must be divided and each group, with a reduced volume, assigned a separate dry alarm valve station will.
With the invention it is achieved that due to the faster ventilation of the Piping system and the faster opening of the dry alarm valve Valve group enlarged in volume and thus fewer dry alarm valve stations are to be installed. Because of the method according to the invention, the Investment expenditure reduced.
