Definitions
- connection arrangement comprising at least one part. connection conductor with one or more holding slots for receiving one or more electrical wires and at least one guide piece provided with a guide eye for electric wire which can be moved along a holding slot between two positions, one for insertion and the other for holding wire, by external action and / or by spring effect.
- Document FR-A-2447620 describes a plurality of connection connection arrangements connection for electrical wires combining a connection piece with a slot wire retention and a guide piece, called actuating member, provided with guides consisting of aligned holes suitable for receiving a wire.
- Each actuator is likely to move along a wire stripping and holding slot between two extreme positions under the effect of an external action exerted by example using a tool shank, such as a screwdriver shank, and / or under the action of a spring.
- a tool shank such as a screwdriver shank
- Thread is then likely to be carried by the actuating member between the edges of the slot in a so-called holding zone, after having possibly undergone entry stripping stripping locally eliminating an insulating sheath which covers its conductive soul. This movement is likely to be continued until second extreme position of the actuating member for which the wire remains held by its pinched core by the slit edges.
- connection arrangements comprising at least one connection piece slot with which cooperates a guide piece of wire movable in translation the whole being housed in a modular box which can be operated from the outside of this housing using a tool rod, are known, as shown in particular document FR-A-2516711.
- modules in particular of terminal block type, comprising arrangements of connection without guide piece to connection piece formed by a leaf spring folded in a loop.
- This spring placed on a conductive bar projects beyond this bar by a first end which comes to penetrate a formed eye in the other end, pressing against the most extreme edge of the eye in because of the elasticity of the spring. It is possible to spread the first end of the edge of the eye where it rests by pressing with a push of external origin on a curved part which participates in the looping of the spring. This allows you to insert a conductive core of a wire to be connected between the edge said to support the wire of the eye and said first end of the spring and to hold this wire by the piece of connection as soon as the external thrust exerted on the spring is suppressed.
- the invention provides a connection arrangement for conductive wire (s) according to the claim 1.
- the arrangement comprises a guide part to loop type spring resiliently restoring the holding position of wire from the end which carries the eye in a displacement along the slit.
- the arrangement comprises a part guide formed by a loop spring whose two ends are practically flat and at least approximately orthogonal, a first of these ends is perforated with at least one guide eye and protrudes beyond the other end which bears, directly or indirectly, on the workpiece connection where the slot along which the first moves end.
- the arrangement comprises a part spring guide whose eye is longer than the area of the wire retention formed by the edges of a slot and whose arrangement is such that the edge of the most extreme eye comes at least to the end of the wire holding area which is located near the entrance of said slot, when the end of the guide part where this eye is located is resiliently displaced in limit by spring effect.
- the arrangement comprises a part loop type spring guide cooperating with a connecting piece having a slot made in a flat part of a conductive bar comprising a fold beyond which the spring of said guide piece is supported by a end.
- the arrangement comprises a part loop type spring guide cooperating with a connecting piece having a slot in a profiled part whose cross section transverse is of hollow polygonal appearance at a through end of which the spring of said guide piece is supported by one end.
- the arrangement comprises a part loop type spring guide cooperating with a connecting piece having a slot made in a flat part of a conductive bar comprising a fold beyond which the spring of said guide piece is pressed by a flat end, where the latter is inserted during assembly between this bar and at minus a spring loop positioning element of a housing where is housed the arrangement.
- the arrangement comprises a part loop type spring guide cooperating with a connecting piece having a slot in a profiled part whose cross section transverse is of hollow polygonal appearance at a through end of which the spring of said guide piece is supported by a planar end, where the latter is inserted during assembly between this profiled part and at least one spring loop positioning element of a housing where it is housed the arrangement.
- the arrangement comprises a part connection comprising a slot whose edges are shaped to delimit a wire entry having thread sheath cutting lips.
- the invention also provides a module, in particular a connection module which comprises a housing containing an arrangement having at least one of characteristics mentioned above.
- Figures 1 and 2 each show a perspective diagram of an arrangement according to the invention for two different states of the spring which this comprises arrangement.
- Figures 3 and 4 show a top view of the arrangement shown on the Figures 1 and 2 each for one of the states mentioned above.
- Figures 5 and 6 each show a perspective diagram of a variant arrangement according to the invention for two different states of the spring which comprises this arrangement.
- Figures 7 and 8 show a top view of the arrangement shown on the Figures 4 and 5 each for one of the states mentioned above.
- connection arrangement 1 presented in FIGS. 1 and 2 is intended to allow the electrical connection of at least one external electrical wire 2 to a connection piece 3 for connecting this wire to part of an electrical appliance not shown.
- this connection piece 3 is here supposed to be constituted by a metal conducting strip, as conventionally used in a terminal block type switchgear module for electrically connecting identical or similar elements of arrangement of connection between them.
- the electric wire 1 is here supposed to include a single or multi-wire core conductive 4 surrounded by an insulating sheath 5.
- the connecting piece 3 is assumed to include at least one holding slot of wire at one end.
- this slot of support is arranged so as to open at one end of the bar which constitutes the connecting piece 3 in the longitudinal axis of the part 3A where it is located, as seen more clearly in Figures 3 and 4.
- This part of strip 3A with a slot is folded, here at a right angle, relative to the part of strip 3B which it extends.
- the bar 3 is assumed to be immobilized in a housing, usually made of insulating material, of the fitting module which comprises arrangement 1, only a portion of wall 6 of this housing being partially shown in Figure 2.
- the immobilization of the bar 3 is for example obtained in a known manner in this field by wedging this bar between not shown reliefs of the housing and in particular reliefs carried by the wall 6 against which the strip 3 is assumed to be laterally pressed, a wall forming cover of the case or of an identical or similar case perfecting this immobilization.
- the holding slot that comprises the part 3A is delimited by two edges 3A1 parallels which form a wedge holding zone for wire core and which are extended by lips 3A2, as can be seen in FIG. 4. These lips widen to form a slit entry through which it it is possible to introduce a core of wire having an appropriate dimension in the slot, this dimension being conventionally a diameter, the range of dimensions possible being in particular a function of the distance between the parallel edges 3A1.
- these lips 3A2 are shaped so as to cut the sheath of a suitable wire 2 when inserting the core of this wire into the slot. They include, for example and as shown in Figure 2, a thin elongated strip 3A21 plane for guiding the core 4 of the wire, when the latter comes into contact with a lip, as well as a bevelled part 3A22 which runs along the strip 3A21 and which ensures the cutting of the sheath 5 of the wire when the latter is pushed against it.
- the holding zone formed by the parallel edges 3A1 a slot of a length chosen according to the number of threads likely to have their souls firmly held aligned between these parallel edges.
- connection part It is planned to associate a wire guide part with the connection part mentioned above. to ensure proper guidance of a wire from an insertion position for which this wire is appropriately placed in front of the slot up to a position for which the core of this wire is held by wedging between the parallel edges 3A1.
- the appropriate position thread insertion is at least theoretically as this thread looks orthogonally to the wall 3A where the slot is made and to a height such, with respect to this wall, that the wire sheath comes laterally in contact with the lips 3A22, when the wire is brought together by translation in a direction given by the longitudinal axis of the slot.
- a guide piece 7 with a loop type spring is associated with a connecting piece 3 to form a connecting arrangement 1 for wire (s) conductor (s).
- the guide piece 7 is constituted by a loop spring, at least one end of which has an eye 8 allowing the passage of a wire or several according to the needs.
- the spring can possibly be provided with several eyes, for example aligned to cooperate with parallel slots of one or more connecting piece (s).
- the eye 8 is likely to be provided to receive a single wire which it ensures the displacement from the insertion position for which this wire is placed so suitable in front of the slot inlet to a holding position for which the core of this wire is held between the parallel edges 3A1 by wedging.
- the guide piece 7 is then capable of ensuring the displacement of the wire from the insertion position to the holding position and vice versa if the eye is shaped for this purpose.
- This eye 8 is then constituted by a conduit whose length can possibly reduce to the thickness of the spring constituting the guide part in the embodiment shown and the opening of which may take different shapes and in particular be circular; square, rectangular or slightly oblong.
- the eye 8 can optionally be formed in a nozzle subject to the end of the spring of the guide piece 7, such a nozzle, not shown being likely to be similar to that visible in FIG. 1 of document DE-A-2706482 cited above which has two aligned eyes sliding along a wire holding slot on either side of the wall where this slot is formed.
- the eye 8 can also extend over a length depending on the length of the zone retaining core determined by the parallel edges 3A1 of the slot of the part connection 3 with which cooperates the guide piece 7 which comprises this eye, in particularly in the case of the alternative embodiment presented in FIGS. 5 to 8.
- Such an eye whose opening is likely to be rectangular as presented here or more or less oblong, is likely to have a length allowing the insertion of a core of wire between the parallel edges 3A1, up to the holding position as far as possible from the slot inlet and the return from the eye to the position it originally had. The latter position being that for which it is possible for this eye to receive a wire to be inserted into the slot in the appropriate insertion position provided for such wires with respect to the slot entrance.
- Such a configuration of eye then makes it possible to immobilize several threads by successive insertion of the souls of these threads in the same slot where these souls are then stuck aligned.
- the eye 8 is formed in a end 7A of planar appearance of the spring constituting the guide part 7, the other end 7B of this spring being intended to take directly or indirectly support on the connection piece 3 so that the end 7A can return to a rest position after being moved relative to the connecting piece by an external action.
- the spring will be positioned in a determined manner relative to the connection piece with which it cooperates in a connection arrangement.
- the wall 6 comprises at least minus a positioning relief 11 whose shape is determined so known to the skilled person to allow the spring to work as provided in a space where it is confined for example with the assistance of the wall forming a cover already mentioned above.
- the end 7B of the spring is flat and pressed against part 3B of connection piece 3 which is perpendicular to part 3A where the slot is located, on the other side of part 3B compared to Part 3A.
- the spring is pressed against part 3B directly in the illustrated embodiment, it is alternatively possible that this support is effected by means of an element and for example of a relief or of a wall possibly projecting from the wall 6, against which the end 7B of the guide piece spring and connection piece 3 then come to bear opposite way.
- the guide piece loop spring have planar ends 7A and 7B which remain at least roughly orthogonal regardless of the position taken by the end 7A carrying the eye 8, either naturally by spring effect or under the effect of an external pressure applied to the spring for example using a push button not shown or a tool rod not shown.
- the end 7A is provided there projecting beyond the other end 7B provided in press on part 3B of the connection piece, whatever the displacement of this end 7A, which it has been indicated that it allows the eye 8 to move from an extreme position allowing positioning, in front of the slot entrance formed in part 3A, of a wire 2 introduced into this eye and this up to a extreme position of core of wire between the parallel edges 3A1 of the slot and as far as possible from the slot inlet.
- the two ends 7A and 7B of the guide piece spring are interconnected by an intermediate part of curvature determined here assumed to be composed of a series of arcuate elements determined in a manner known to those skilled in the art for that the spring has determined elastic characteristics which are depending on the nature of the material constituting this spring of the treatments possibly applied to this material and the shape chosen for the spring.
- the spring has three zones with alternating curvatures from one to the next, so that a first of these zones which follows the end portion 7B allows the spring to partially surround a bulge of cylindrical appearance 11B in relief positioning 11 which constitutes practically an axis of rotation relative to which moves the spring portion comprising the part 7A where the eye 8 whose displacement is sought.
- the second area whose curvature is opposite to that of the first zone mentioned above cooperates with the third zone whose curvature is the same direction as that of the first zone for allow movement of the end 7A and the eye 8, or at least the edge the most extreme of this eye, along the slit which comprises part 3A in a displacement at least roughly parallel to this part 3A.
- the end 7A is here assumed to be resiliently brought back to its extreme position where the eye 8 is in position above the holding zone delimited by the parallel edges 3A1.
- External pressure for example exerted known to those skilled in the art using a tool rod supposed to penetrate the housing in which is housed in particular the spring to press on the third zone curve of this spring so as to push it towards the connection piece 3, causes the end 7A to move until the eye 8 is beyond the entrance to the slot in part 3A.
- the relaxation of the external pressure allows the return from the end 7A by spring effect and causes the insertion of the core 4 of the wire 2 in the sheath where this core reaches either the most extreme position of maintenance for which the spring has elastically returned to its equilibrium position natural, either by pressing against another wire previously inserted in the same slot, the spring then remaining partially constrained.
- Figures 5 to 8 relate to an alternative embodiment using a different connection piece from the previous one.
- the material elements of this achievement which are likely to be identical or similar to those appearing in the previously described embodiment here retain the same references.
- connection arrangement 1 'shown in Figures 5 and 6 is intended to allow the electrical connection of at least one external electrical wire 2 to a connection piece 3 'for connecting this wire to part of an electrical appliance not shown.
- the connecting piece 3 ' which has a wire core (s) holding slot with a stripping entry of wire sheath having at least approximately the same function as the slot in the connecting piece 3 mentioned above.
- connection piece 3 ' is for example of the type described in the document EP-A-0265321, it can be obtained by cutting and local folding and thinning from a flat metal blank and has a 3'P profiled part, one face of which is extended by a 3'B part, of strip type, which is only sketched in Figures 5 and 6.
- This portion forming a bar 3'B is intended to provide an electrical connection of the connecting piece 3 'with part of an electrical apparatus, not shown, as usual in the matter.
- the profiled part 3'P has for example a hollow polygonal cross section which appears here as a U whose free ends have been obliquely and also folded towards each other, as shown in Figure 6. These folds result in the formation of two 3'PA longitudinal end folds having parallel 3'PA1 edges which define the wire core (s) holding area of the holding and stripping slot with the 3'P profiled part of the workpiece connection which has these folds and edges.
- the two parallel edges of the slot that the 3'PA folds form by approximation are fitted with 3'PA2 wire sheath stripping lips obtained for example by oblique and symmetrical cutting then possibly machining thinning folds at the same of the two ends of the 3'P profiled part which includes them, this profiled part delimiting a cavity here shows emerging at these two ends.
- the other end of the 3'P profiled part is here intended for serve as a support wall at one end 7B of a guide piece spring 7 corresponding to that mentioned in connection with FIGS. 1 to 4 and here assumed in loop as before.
- the end 7B is planar and comes at least partially close the cavity defined by the 3'P profiled part at the end of this part where it comes to rest at the end on the walls which surround the cavity.
- the connecting piece 3 ' is assumed to be immobilized between reliefs of a housing of the electrical switchgear module which includes the connection arrangement which this piece is part of.
- the means necessary for this immobilization are not not described here to the extent that they are well known to those skilled in the art and where on the other hand they have only an indirect relationship with the object of the present invention.
- the guide piece spring 7 is positioned in a determined manner with respect to the connection piece 3 'with which it cooperates in a connection arrangement.
- this positioning implies a positioning relief 11 of the housing where are housed the connecting piece 3 'and the guide piece spring 7 associated with this piece.
- the shape of the relief 11 is produced as previously to allow the spring to work in a space where it is confined, this space being for example provided between the wall 6 and a wall forming a cover similar to that mentioned in the part of descriptive text relating to the summary performance presented on the Figures 1 to 4.
- the support of the guide part spring 7 at the end of the profiled part 3'P by a flat end 7B is here shown produced by direct support of this flat end against the profiled part 3'P. As already indicated above, this support can also be done indirectly if a material element, such as a case, not shown here, is interposed between the end 7B of the workpiece spring guide and the end of the profiled part where said spring end comes in support..
- the other end of spring 7A is here assumed to be flat and provided with an eye 8 having at least approximately the same characteristics as the eye mentioned above.
- the end 7A of the guide part spring where finds eye 8 can move along the slot of the profiled part 3'P of the part 3 'between two positions, one of these positions allowing the introduction a wire 2 in this eye 8 in the appropriate insertion position in front of the entry of slot formed by the lips 3'PA2, the other being the most extreme position of holding a wire by wedging the core of this wire between the parallel edges 3'PAlde the slot of the profiled part 3'P.
- the eye 8 can be provided for one or more aligned wires
