Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein zwischen stationären Führungen umlaufendes Taschenrad zur Aufnahme von mit einer Seitenbeleimung versehenen Packungen der tabakverarbeitenden Industrielle (wie in US 2,855,977 beschrieben).
Das vorstehend bezeichnete Taschenrad dient dazu, Packungen, insbesondere sogenannte Hartbecherpackungen für Zigaretten, die durch zahlreiche Faltvorgänge um eine blockförmige Artikelformation herum geschlossen und durch seitliche, beleimte Laschen fixiert werden, abschließend an den beleimten Längsseiten zu verfestigen. Die dafür benötigte Zeit steht bei einem Umlauf des Taschenrades von einer Beschickungs- bis zu einer Entnahmestelle zur Verfügung, wobei die Packungen zwecks Formhaltung einer engen Führung bedürfen, wodurch Beschädigungen der Packungen nicht ausgeschlossen werden können.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine schonende Handhabung der Pakkungen während der Trocknungs- bzw. Verfestigungsphase zu gewährleisten.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die stationären Führungen mit Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen versehen sind. Zweckmäßigerweise münden die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen in Aufnahmetaschen des Taschenrades ein und stehen mit einer gemeinsamen, an eine Luftzufuhr angeschlossenen Druckkammer in Verbindung.
Hierbei sind die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen über die Länge der relativ zu den stationären Führungen bewegten Packungsseitenwände verteilt, wobei die stationären Führungen als konzentrisch zur horizontalen Radachse des Taschenrades verlaufende Ringscheiben ausgebildet sind.
Der mit der Erfindung erzielte Vorteil besteht in der Ausbildung eines Luftpolsters zwischen der stationären Führung und den relativ dazu bewegten Seitenwandungen der Packungen, deren beleimte Seitenlaschen dabei in beabsichtigter Weise angedrückt, jedoch vor Schleifspuren geschützt werden.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand des in den beigefügten Abbildungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert.

Das in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellte, am Umfang mit sich radial erstreckenden Aufnahmetaschen 1 versehene Taschenrad 2 zur Aufnahme von mit einem Klappdeckel 3 ausgestatteten Hartbecher-Packungen 4 (sogenannte Higed-Lid-Packungen) für Zigaretten ist um eine horizontale Achse 6 in vertikaler Ebene taktweise in Pfeilrichtung 7 umlaufend angeordnet.
In Höhe einer Beschickungsstation 8 ist dem Taschenrad 2 ein Schubstößel 9 zum Überführen der Zigarettenpackungen 4 von einem Zufördermittel 11 in die Aufnahmetaschen 1 zugeordnet, wobei die Packungen 4 radial zum Taschenrad 2 mit der vom Deckel 3 abgewandten schmalen Bodenseite voran in die Aufnahmetaschen 1 eingeschoben werden.
In Höhe einer unterhalb der Beschickungsstation 8 vorgesehenen Entnahmestation 12 ist dem Taschenrad 2 ein von der Gegenseite her die Packungen 4 aus den Aufnahmetaschen 1 auf ein Querabfördermittel 13 überführender Schubstößel zugeordnet, nachdem die Packungen 4 während eines Umlaufes des Taschenrades 2 durch Trocknung ihrer Vorbeleimung zwischen den sich überlappenden Verbindungsstellen der Längsseitenlaschen an Deckel und Rumpf verfestigt bzw. in ihrer Form fixiert werden, wobei gegebenenfalls eine Beheizung der Aufnahmetaschen 1 oder eine entsprechende Warmlufteinwirkung auf die Packungen 4 den Trocknungsprozeß unterstützen kann.
Die Formhaltung der Packungen 4 während des Trocknungsprozesses ist durch eine formschlüssige Begrenzung der Packungsbreitseiten von den gegenüberliegenden breiten Taschenwandungen 16 und 17 und durch Anlage der Packungen an einer Taschenrückwand 18 sowie im Bereich der offenen Taschenlängsseiten durch ringförmige stationäre Seitenführungen 19 und 21 gewährleistet, zwischen denen das Taschenrad 2 umläuft.
Gemäß Figur 2 sind die stationären Seitenführungen 19 und 21 mit Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen 22 versehen, welche in die Aufnahmetasche 1 des Taschenrades 2 einmünden und mit einer gemeinsamen, an Luftzuführstutzen 23 angeschlossenen Druckkammer 24 in Verbindung stehen, sodaß sich zwischen den relativ zueinander bewegten Packungslängsseiten und stationären Führungen 19, 21 ein Luftpolster ausbildet, welches beim Umlauf des Taschenrades 2 Schleifspuren an der Packung unterbindet.

Claims (4)

  1. Zwischen stationären Führungen umlaufendes Taschenrad zur Aufnahme von mit einer Seitenbeleimung versehenen Packungen der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die stationären Führungen (19, 21) mit Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen (22) versehen sind.
  2. Taschenrad nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen (22) in Aufnahmetaschen (1) des Taschenrades (2) einmünden und mit einer gemeinsamen, an eine Luftzufuhr (23) angeschlossenen Druckkammer (24) in Verbindung stehen.
  3. Taschenrad nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftdurchtrittsöffnungen (22) über die Länge der relativ zu den stationären Führungen (19, 21) bewegten Packungsseitenwände verteilt sind.
  4. Taschenrand nach irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die stationären Führungen (19, 21) als konzentrisch zur horizontalen Radachse (6) des Taschenrades (2) verlaufende Ringscheiben ausgebildet sind.
