Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing colored planar Decorative materials.
- Such decorative materials have a wide range of applications and can for example for cladding facades of buildings, floors, Ceilings, walls, doors, stairs, furniture, table tops and the like be used.
- decorative Coating or cladding materials are an ongoing need novel color and structure effects.
- Processes with which different and individually adaptable color and Structural effects can be achieved are particularly in the area of decorative Coating or cladding materials.
- EP 0 357 808 A1 describes a method for coating flat surfaces Materials to achieve a marbled effect decor Pressing a carrier web coated with synthetic resin onto the known coating surface.
- the used one contains Carrier web a platelet-shaped pigment, in particular made of metals or Metal alloys.
- the coating thus produced consists of two superimposed layers of a transparent, thermoplastic or thermosetting, flowable under compression conditions Resin.
- the lower layer in terms of use, the carrier web contains the platelet-shaped pigment.
- Decorative surface claddings are known from EP 0 249 156 A3, which is made by casting a hardenable, transparent, liquid layer become.
- the contains liquid layer of plate-shaped materials for example pearl effect pigments or mica.
- the plate-shaped materials within the transparent liquid using a nozzle arrangement among different Aligned angles with respect to the surface of the layer to be manufactured.
- a decorative material is disclosed in which on a Background layer, which consists for example of paper, a compressible Plastisol layer is applied. There is a transparent material on the plastisol layer applied, which contains platelet-shaped material. Which is the platelet-shaped Material containing layer is applied with the application of at least one further Layer deformed in such a way that the platelets face each other in a precisely defined manner align. This creates an optical effect.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing decorative materials which have very different and individual color and structure effects and the depth effect of a real three-dimensional structure.
- a decorative element produced according to the method should be extremely easy to handle and process, in particular with regard to the applicable safety regulations during assembly.
- a process for the production of colored flat decorative materials is proposed, which is characterized in that at least one pigment and / or dye-containing curable resin layer and then a fiber composite material is applied to an essentially transparent substrate, with at least one of the Resin layers contain a flaky effect pigment.
- the invention provides a method which is extremely simple Manufacture of decorative materials that allows different and individually definable color and structure effects as well as the depth effect of a have real three-dimensional structure.
- the decorative material produced according to the method becomes fiber composite material stabilized.
- the decorative material is similar Safety glasses do not form fragments in the event of breakage, so that injuries, especially when installing facade elements, for example over Head, can be largely avoided.
- This allows especially decorative materials with a glass substrate accordingly applicable security and processing regulations overhead be jammed, what with the previously used glass panes or -Plates are only permitted to a limited extent for safety reasons. Furthermore for example, the strength, toughness and the like are increased.
- fiber composite material in addition to rovings, Fabrics and mats can also be understood as nonwovens and felts in accordance with advantageous embodiments of the invention, needle punched fleece or felt, Fabrics, rovings, roving fabrics and mats, preferably made of glass fibers, or synthetic fibers.
- resins can Principle all single or multi-component resins are used, which by thermal, solidified by radiation curing or other curing can and at least for some time in a pourable or spreadable state are.
- Suitable resins are, for example, polyester, epoxy resins or Venyl esters, for example based on acrylates and / or methacrylates.
- the resin is before or during processing with suitable pigments and / or dyes added.
- the pigments and / or dyes can be uniform in the Resin layer can be distributed, but it can also be caused by uneven In addition to the surface structures, the distribution also shows color structures become.
- the resin layer can be done in one operation be applied or in several steps, if necessary with one Intermediate hardening of the applied layer. Case several Resin layers are applied, these can optionally can be colored or pigmented differently. For example first apply a pigmented resin layer and then a colored layer.
- the pigment and / or dye-containing resin layers flat pattern inserted.
- a platelet-shaped effect pigment coated with metal oxides Mica pigment used. Through light refraction and multiple reflection the phase boundaries of this multilayer pigment depend on Viewing angle to interference effects and depending on the size of the platelets more or less pronounced gloss effects.
- the metal oxide coating for example colorless or colored metal oxides, in addition to or instead of the interference color, a more or less strong body color contribute to the effect.
- the proportion of pigments and / or dyes in the resin layer depends on depends essentially on the desired effect, but is usually in the Range from about 1% to 20% by weight.
- the individual resin layers usually have a thickness of about 0.5 mm to about 2 mm, in particular from about 0.5 to about 1.5 mm. If multiple layers are applied, a total thickness of about 2 mm to 3 mm is usually not exceeded. Thereby, the user himself through the procedure no limits imposed.
- the resin layer applied a background layer.
- a background layer Glass fiber laminates, finished sheets of PE, foils and the like or one for example, paint layer applied by spraying or brushing be used.
- This background layer allows the Decorative material a color, a pattern but also a logo, lettering and deposit the like. This allows the measure of Expand design options considerably.
- the resin layer is applied before the Fiber composite material or the background layer cured. This can be ensured that the fiber composite material or Background layer can be applied evenly and evenly and do not partially tilt or penetrate the resin layer. However, it is also possible that a resin layer for receiving the Fiber composite material or the background layer is applied, so ensure an optimal connection.
- the fiber composite material applied an adhesive layer.
- This allows the Processing of appropriate decorative materials is extremely easy.
- Self-adhesive layers can advantageously be used become.
- the substrate is at least on that of the resin layer facing side a surface structure material used.
- the substrate material may have elevations on this side and / or have depressions that are both uniform and can be formed unevenly.
- the to be applied Resin layer facing surface structure is a real one Given three-dimensionality, which gives the visual impression of depth reinforced even further. It also has a larger surface provided that greater adhesion between the substrate and the Guaranteed resin layer.
- a substrate Glass used especially crystal mirror glass.
- surfaces made of glass are particularly easy clean so that appropriate decorative materials practically not through Detergents and the like attacked and therefore in terms of their optical effect and coloring are changed.
- Gain stability can, according to a particularly advantageous proposal Invention very thin substrate material, especially very thin glass, be used. This allows decorative materials with an extreme Light weight can be made, which is much easier in particular processed.
- Fig. 1 shows the basic structure of a method manufactured Decorative material. is on a substantially transparent substrate 1, preferably made of glass, at least one a platelet-shaped effect pigment containing resin layer 2 applied. On the resin layer 2 is in turn Fiber composite material 3, for example a glass fiber fabric, applied.
- FIG. 3 shows a further exemplary embodiment of a method manufactured decorative material. It is on the fiber composite material 3 in 2 additionally shown an adhesive layer 5 applied, For example, a self-adhesive layer that the application of the Decorative material simplified.
- Fig. 4 denotes a core material, which is by means of an adhesive layer 5 is connected to the fiber composite material 3.
- the core material can for example made of wood, metal, plastic, plaster or synthetic Composite materials exist and have the task of each manufacturing product the necessary for certain applications To give material properties and depending on the desired properties can be selected practically arbitrarily.
- the Design functional properties of the product as desired for example in Direction fire protection or heat or sound insulation or for adjustment of the desired thickness or strength.
- Core material 6 itself is not dimensionally stable or how Example with wood, due to external influences, such as Moisture absorption, can deform, it is appropriate that Core material 6 by applied on both sides, not shown here Stabilize lamination layers.
- Fig. 5 shows an embodiment which is constructed symmetrically, and for example for the construction of already decorated partitions and the like can be used.
- decorative materials of all kinds can be produce, especially effect glasses, tiles and the like.
- Shapes like plates can also be made using appropriate ones
- Substrates 1 curved or spherical shapes can be produced.
- the products are used particularly for wall, ceiling or Furniture cladding, but also for example for floor coverings, shower enclosures, elevator linings and the like, in particular where, besides the decorative effects, also on the insensitivity arrives against mechanical, chemical or other influences, for example in kitchens, on cupboards or in bathrooms.
- the type of application of the individual layers or materials is that Expert familiar per se. This can be the case especially with liquid materials for example by painting, rolling, spraying, dipping or pouring happen.
- the decorative materials produced by the process according to the invention can be used with all common processes, e.g. saws, cutters, Machining, drilling and other shaping processes and can therefore be used in practically unlimited ways.
