Abstract

Trattasi di un procedimento particolarmente studiato per la decorazione figurativa e cromatica di vetri piani, il quale prevede che su una delle facce di una lastra di vetro, trasparente o colorato, venga applicato un sottile strato di resina epossidica trasparente, sulla quale è successivamente riportato, mediante un processo di trasferimento, un disegno, nel senso più generale del termine; in seguito, su tale disegno viene steso uno strato d'argento o d'oro o d'altri metalli o uno strato di vernice di rivestimento, contenente pigmenti argentati o dorati o, comunque, suscettibili di conferire al disegno stesso un aspetto di metellizzazione.
