Claims (22)

  1. Ein Abwassergeruchsverschluss, ausgebildet um im Betrieb einen Körper von Abwasser zu enthalten, der als Geruchsbarriere gegen Abwassergase dient, für wasserlose Urinale, wobei der Geruchsverschluss aufweist:
    einen Hauptbehälter (14), darin aufweisend eine Trennwand (16A, 16B), und aufweisend zumindest eine Eintrittsöffnung (16D), durch die generell das gesamte Abwasser in den Hauptbehälter eintritt;
    eine Eintrittskammer, die dieses Abwasser aufnimmt und die mit einer angrenzenden Entleerungskammer unterhalb dieser Trennwand (16A, 16B) kommuniziert;
    einen Abwasserablauf (14A), der in der Entleerungskammer gebildet ist, aufweisend einen oberen Rand, der einen Überlauflevel des Behälters definiert; und aufweisend einen Bodenauslass, der zur Kommunikation mit einem externen Ablauf ausgebildet ist;
    eine Schicht eines Dichtmittels (20) mit geringer Dichte, die auf einem Abschnitt dieses Abwasserkörpers in dieser Eintrittskammer des Geruchsverschlusses treibt und die gegen den Geruch aus dem enthaltenem Abwasser als Geruchsverschluss wirkt;
    wobei diese Eintrittsöffnung (16D) und diese Trennwand (16A, 16B) dazu angeordnet sind, einen Fluidströmungspfad (22) durch den Verschluss für allgemein das gesamte Abwasser, welches in den Verschluss eintritt, zu bilden und
    wobei dieser Hauptbehälter (14) eine Dimension (R) in der Höhe eines Bodenendes dieser Trennwand (16A, 16B) aufweist, gemessen vom Zentrum des Behälters zu einer seiner Seiten,
    gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass
    dieser Flüssigkeitsströmungspfad (22) eine horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) definiert, entlang der verloren gegangenes Dichtmittel aufwärts getrieben wird und zur Dichtmittelschicht (20) zurückkehrt, wobei die horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) jene horizontale Komponente des Laufs des Abwassers im Strömungspfad von der Mitte der Eintrittsöffnung (16D) zum Bodenende der Trennwand (16A, 16B) ist, wobei die horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) größer ist als 30% dieser Behälterdimension (R).
  2. Ein Abwassergeruchsverschluss, ausgebildet, um im Betrieb einen Körper von Abwasser zu enthalten, der als ein Geruchsverschluss gegen Abwassergase dient, für wasserlose Urinale, wobei der Geruchsverschluss aufweist:
    einen Hauptbehälter (14), aufweisend eine Trennwand (16A, 16B) darin, und aufweisend zumindest eine Eintrittsöffnung (16D), durch die allgemein das gesamte Abwasser in den Hauptbehälter eintritt;
    eine Eintrittskammer, die dieses Abwasser aufnimmt und die mit einer benachbarten Entleerungskammer unterhalb dieser Trennwand (16A, 16B) kommuniziert;
    ein Abwasserablauf (14A), der in dieser Entleerungskammer gebildet ist, aufweisend einen oberen Rand, der einen Überlauflevel dieses Behälters definiert, und aufweisend einen Bodenauslass, der zur Kommunikation mit einem externen Ablauf ausgebildet ist;
    eine Schicht eines Dichtmittels (20) mit geringer Dichte, die auf einem Abschnitt des Abwasserkörpers in der Eintrittskammer treibt und die gegen den Geruch aus dem enthaltenen Abwasser als Geruchsverschluss wirkt;
    wobei diese Eintrittsöffnung (16D) und diese Trennwand (16A, 16B) dazu angeordnet sind, einen Fluidströmungspfad (22) durch den Geruchsverschluss für allgemein das gesamte Abwasser zu bilden, welches in den Verschluss eintritt,
    gekennzeichnet dadurch, dass
    dieser Flüssigkeitsströmungspfad (22) eine horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) definiert, entlang der verloren gegangenes Dichtmittel aufwärts getrieben wird und zu dieser Dichtmittelschicht (20) zurückkehrt, wobei die horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) jene horizontale Komponente des Laufs des Abwassers in dem Strömungspfad von der Mitte der Eintrittsöffnung (16D) bis zum Bodenende der Trennwand (16A, 16B) ist, wobei diese horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) größer ist als ein vertikaler Abstand (Y) gemessen von diesem Überlauflevel bis zum Bodenende dieser Trennwand (16A, 16B).
  3. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei diese mindestens eine Öffnung (16D) in einer oberen Fläche (16C) des Behälters gebildet ist.
  4. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Trennwand einen vertikalen Abschnitt (16A) aufweist, der sich von einer oberen Fläche (16C) dieses Containers (14) in diesen Behälter nach unten erstreckt und der diesen Behälter in diese Eintrittskammer und diese Entleerungskammer trennt.
  5. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 4, wobei die Trennwand ferner einen nicht-vertikalen Abschnitt (16B) aufweist, der sich vom unteren Ende dieses vertikalen Abschnitts (16A) in Richtung der Eintrittskammer oder in Richtung der Entleerungskammer erstreckt.
  6. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die Trennwand einen nicht-vertikalen Abschnitt (16B) aufweist, der sich von einer oberen Fläche (16C) nach unten in diesen Container (14) erstreckt und der diesen Behälter in diese Eintrittskammer und diese Entleerungskammer trennt.
  7. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei diese mindestens eine Öffnung (16D) in einem zentralen Bereich der oberen Fläche (16C) des Verschlusses vorgesehen ist, wobei dieser zentrale Bereich von der zentralen Achse (D-D') des Geruchsverschlusses geschnitten wird.
  8. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 5, 6 oder 7, wobei dieser nicht-vertikale Abschnitt (16B) in dieser Trennwand in einer Weise derart geneigt ist, um zu bewirken, dass Tropfen von verloren-gegangem Dichtmittel geringer Dichte aus diesem Flüssigkeitsströmungspfad (22) unterhalb dieses nicht-vertikalen Abschnitts per Auftrieb nach oben getrieben werden und zu dieser Schicht des Dichtmittels (20) zurückgetrieben werden.
  9. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei diese horizontale Komponentenlänge (X) die gesamte horizontale Komponente des Abwasserlaufs direkt unterhalb entweder dieser Schicht von Dichtmittel (20) und/oder, falls vorhanden, eines geneigten Abschnittes (16B) dieser Trennwand ist.
  10. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 3 bis 9, falls abhängig von Anspruch 1, wobei dieser Hauptbehälter (14) im Wesentlichen zylinderförmig ist und wobei diese Behälterdimension (R) dessen Radius ist.
  11. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 10, wobei dieser Radius (R) im Bereich von 5,0 bis 6,4 cm (2 bis 2,5 inches) liegt.
  12. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, wobei dieser Behälter einen Abschirmbereich (T) in einem seiner oberen Abschnitte aufweist, der an diese mindestens eine Eintrittsöffnung (16D) angrenzt, wobei dieser Abschirmbereich (T) das Dichtmittel mit geringer Dichte aufnimmt, das vorübergehend von dem Wasser verdrängt wird, das in diesem Geruchsverschluss entlang dieses Strömungspfades (22) gespült wird, wodurch das verdrängte Dichtmittel abgeschirmt und ein Verlust des Dichtmittels verhindert wird.
  13. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 12, wobei eine obere Abdeckung (16C) dieses Behälters nach unten geneigt ist, wobei diese mindestens eine Eintrittsöffnung (16D) am unteren Ende dieser Neigung und diese Abschirmregion (T) unterhalb eines oberen Bereichs dieser Neigung angeordnet sind.
  14. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 12, ferner aufweisend eine Lüftungsöffnung (16F) in diesem oberen Bereich der oberen Abdeckung (16C) oberhalb dieses Abschirmbereichs (T).
  15. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, wobei dieser Hauptbehälter (14) aus einem Plastikmaterial besteht.
  16. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß Anspruch 15, wobei dieser Behälter (14) aus einem Plastikmaterial geformt ist, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe beinhaltend Polyethylen, Polypropylen und Glasfaser-verstärkter Polyester.
  17. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, wobei dieses Dichtmittel (20) mit geringer Dichte eine ölige Flüssigkeit ist.
  18. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, wobei dieses Dichtmittel (20) mit geringer Dichte ein aliphatischer Alkohol ist, insbesondere ein aliphatischer Alkohol mit 9 bis 11 Kohlenstoffatomen im chemischen Gerüst.
  19. Der Geruchsverschluss gemäß irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 18, wobei dieses Dichtmittel (20) mit geringer Dichte eine spezifische Gewichtskraft aufweist, die 0,9 nicht übersteigt.
  20. Ein System für den Ablauf von Abwasser in einem wasserlosen Urinal, aufweisend:
    a) einen Geruchsverschluss wie er in irgendeinem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19 definiert ist;
    b) ein Abwasseroberflächenelement, um das Abwassers in die mindestens eine Eintrittsöffnung (16D) dieses Geruchsverschlusses zu führen.
  21. Das System wie im Anspruch 20 definiert, wobei dieses Abwasseroberflächenelement ein Wand-montiertes wasserloses Urinal (140) ist.
  22. Das System wie in Anspruch 20 definiert, das ferner ein Werkzeugelement (180) aufweist, das Vorsprünge (183) aufweist, die zum Tragen dieses Geruchsverschlusses mit dieser mindestens einer Eintrittsöffnung (153) im Eingriff stehen können.
