  • Microwave technologies bring great advantages for heating of different kinds. For that reason it is used to an increasing extent. Microwaves are considered to cause danger for damages to many organisms including humans and other warm-blooded animals. A fundamental condition at all uses of microwave technology is a reliable shielding against leakage of microwaves.

Claims (2)

  1. Verfahren zur Verringerung des Mikrowellenaustritts aus einem nach unten offenen Mikrowellengerät, welches zum Trocknen oder Wärmebehandeln von Böden, Wänden und Decken dient und automatisch über eine stationäre Oberfläche bewegt wird, wobei das Mikrowellengerät speziell für Einrichtungen zum Trocknen oder Behandeln von Oberflächen verwendet wird, die von Wänden oder Begrenzungen begrenzt sind, wo das Trocknen bzw. die Wärmebehandlung nahe an der Wand oder Begrenzung erfolgen muß, wobei das Verfahren
    gekennzeichnet ist durch die Verwendung eines verbreiterten Randes (2) an der der stationären Oberfläche (6) zugewandten Unterseite zum Vergrößern der Distanz, die austretende Strahlung beim Durchgang durch einen schmalen Spalt zwischen dem verbreiterten Rand und der darunter befindlichen stationären Oberfläche durchlaufen muß, wobei der verbreiterte Rand nach innen zum Inneren des Mikrowellengehäuses des Mikrowellengerätes gerichtet ist, wobei der verbreiterte Rand umfaßt:
    a) eine metallische Leiste, die an der Innenseite der Metallgehäuseplatten (1) des Mikrowellengerätes angebracht ist, oder
    b) eine nach innen gerichtete Abkantung (1'), die im unteren Teil der Metallgehäuseplatten abgekantet ist, oder
    c) eine nach innen gerichtete Abkantung (3'), die an einen inneren Abschirmungsnetz (3) vorgesehen ist, wobei das Netz in dem Metallgehäuse angeordnet ist und sich nach unten zum offenen Boden des Metallgehäuses erstreckt, und wobei das Abschirmungsnetz nach innen abgekantet ist, um die nach innen gerichtete Abkantung (3') in dem Abschirmungsnetz zu erhalten.
  2. Mobiles Mikrowellengerät mit verringertem Austreten von Mikrowellen, wobei das Mikrowellengerät zum Trocknen oder Wärmebehandeln von Böden, Wänden oder Decken usw. dient und automatisch über eine stationäre Oberfläche (6) bewegt wird, wobei das Trocknen bzw. Behandeln in der Nähe von Begrenzungen der stationären Oberfläche erfolgen muß, wobei das Mikrowellengerät gekennzeichnet ist durch einen verbreiterten Rand an seiner der stationären Oberfläche zugewandten Unterseite, wobei der verbreiterte Rand nach innen im Inneren des Mikrowellengehäuses des Mikrowellengerätes gerichtet ist, wobei der verbreiterte Rand vorliegt als
    a) eine Metalleiste an der Innenseite der Metallgehäuseplatten (1) des Mikrowellengerätes, oder
    b) eine nach innen gerichtete Abkantung (1') in den Metallplatten oder
    c) eine nach innen gerichtete Abkantung (3') in einem Abschirmungsnetz (3), das in dem Metallgehäuse angeordnet ist, wobei sich das Netz nach unten zum offenen Boden des Metallgehäuses erstreckt.
