- Cable traction of vehicles in a own site transport has many advantages, particularly simplicity and reliability, but it requires the use of disengageable pliers, for coupling and uncoupling the vehicle from the cable, the opening and closing are perfectly ensured, in order to avoid any risk of sliding of the clamp on the cable and all false maneuver.
- French patent application No. 2,719,012 describes pliers of the kind mentioned, having a pair of worn jaws by a keel. This clamp cooperates with a cable located below of the track and it's bulky and complicated.
