In a vehicle door lock according to the invention, it is advantageous that the unlocking lever is made in one piece. Hereby on the one hand, the manufacturing effort is significantly reduced others do not need a multi-part lever system during assembly adjusted to each other with adjusting screws and after repeated Press to be readjusted. Another advantage is that the Lock case and the parts to which the lever system is hinged is a structural unit thanks to the U-shaped lock base plate form and so also pre-assembled and then no further have to be adjusted. The lock can be so without it usual support components must be mounted directly on or in the door.
In addition, the arrangement of the balance weight on the lever side opposite to the state of the art prevents the balancing weight in the event of impact or impact Lock opened by his perseverance, on the contrary Locking is even secured.
By undercut the locking edges that the locking piece

Arches or undercuts of the recesses and
the resulting effect becomes rest safety
significantly increased, also because the locking edges and the flank

Due to the U-shaped design of the lock base plate and the Arrangement of the release lever on this lock base plate and the lock cannot be fully functional on a door panel pre-assembled on the door panel or frame, what the assembly effort significantly reduced.
Durch das Vorsehen einer Kindersicherung schließlich erhöht sich die Sicherheit des Fahrzeugtürschlosses im erheblichen Maß.Finally, by providing a child lock increases the security of the vehicle door lock to a considerable extent.
