Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein wandhängendes Urinal (1) mit einem innerhalb eines eine Wandanlagefläche (4.6) aufweisenden Urinalkörpers (4.1) ausgebildeten Urinalbecken (4.2), das mit einem Wasserzulaufstutzen (4.4) und einem Abflußstutzen (4.5) versehen ist, die an eine in der Wand (1) verlegte Wasserzuflußleitung bzw. Abflußleitung anschließbar sind. Um ein raumsparendes Urinal mit kleiner Ausladung zu schaffen, ist die Wandanlagefläche (4.6) des Urinalkörpers (4.1) gegenüber der Rückwand des Urinalbeckens (4.2) und gegenüber der freien Stirnfläche der Anschlußstutzen (4.4, 4.5) nach vorn versetzt. Das Urinalbecken (4.2) ist an beiden Seiten gegenüber dem das Urinalbecken (4.2) umgebenden Urinalkörper (4.1) derart eingezogen, daß zwischen der Außenfläche des Urinalbeckens (4.2) und der Innenfläche des Urinalkörpers (4.1) ein Aufnahmeraum (A) für ein Befestigungselement (6) gebildet ist, das jeweils mit einem an der Wand (1) befestigten Halteelement (7) zusammenwirkt. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein wandhängendes Urinal mit einem innerhalb eines eine Wandanlagefläche aufweisenden Urinalkörpers ausgebildeten Urinalbecken, das mit einem Wasserzulaufstutzen und einem Abflußstutzen versehen ist, die an eine in der Wand verlegte Wasserzuflußleitung bzw. Abflußleitung anschließbar sind.
Derartige wandhängende Urinale sind in verschiedenen Ausführungen, auch mit einem das Urinalbecken verschließenden Deckel bekannt.
Derartige wandhängende Urinale finden nicht nur in öffentlichen Toiletten, sondern auch in Privatbädern Verwendung, allerdings meistens nicht im Hauptbad, sondern in der Gästetoilette. Da ein überwiegender Teil der Gästetoiletten eine Grundfläche von weniger als 2 m2 hat, bereitet es häufig Schwierigkeiten, in derartigen Gästetoiletten Urinale unterzubringen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein wandhängendes Urinal der eingangs beschriebenen Art zu schaffen, das raumsparend auch in kleinen Gästetoiletten eingesetzt und auf einfache Weise befestigt werden kann.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabenstellung durch die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wandanlagefläche des Urinalkörpers gegenüber der Rückwand des Urinalbeckens und gegenüber der freien Stirnfläche der Anschlußstutzen nach vorn versetzt und das Urinalbecken an beiden Seiten gegenüber dem das Urinalbecken umgebenden Urinalkörper derart eingezogen ist, daß zwischen der Außenfläche des Urinalbeckens und der Innenfläche des Urinalkörpers ein Aufnahmeraum für ein Befestigungselement gebildet ist, das jeweils mit einem an der jeweiligen Wand befestigten Halteelement zusammenwirkt.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Weiterbildung ergibt sich ein wandhängendes Urinal, dessen Urinalbecken und Wasserzulauf- sowie Abflußstutzen zu einem Teil hinter der Wandanlagefläche des Urinalkörpers liegen und damit bei einem Anbau des Urinals an der Wand innerhalb der Wand zu liegen kommen, wodurch sich die Ausladung des Urinals erheblich verringert. Während das Urinal mit der zur Zeit kleinsten Ausladung eine Ausladung von ca. 250 mm hat, lassen sich durch die Erfindung wandhängende Urinale mit einer Ausladung von ca. 150 mm schaffen, ohne die Funktionsfähigkeit zu beeinträchtigen. Das erfindungsgemäße Urinal kann somit auch in kleinen Privattoiletten problemlos eingebaut werden. Durch die seitliche Einziehung des Urinalbeckens gegenüber dem das Urinalbecken umgebenden Urinalkörper wird ein Aufnahmeraum für ein Befestigungselement gebildet, das jeweils mit einem an der jeweiligen Wand befestigten Halteelement zusammenwirkt, so daß das wandhängende Urinal problemlos und mit der notwendigen Genauigkeit an der Wand befestigt werden kann.
Gemäß einem weiteren Merkmal der Erfindung wird die Wandanlagefläche ringförmig ausgebildet, um einen guten und einfach abzudichtenden Wandanschluß zu schaffen. Weiterhin ist es erfindungsgemäß möglich, an der Außenseite der Wandanlagefläche ein die Wandoberfläche abdeckendes Profil auszubilden, um die Abdichtmöglichkeit und den optischen Eindruck zu verbessern.
Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung sind der Wasserzulaufstutzen und der Abflußstutzen des Urinals an entsprechende Anschlüsse eines Vorwandinstallationselementes anschließbar. Bei diesem Vorwandinstallationselement handelt es sich um ein bekanntes Bauelement, das lediglich geringfügig für die Verwendung bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Urinal modifiziert werden muß. Vorzugsweise enthält das Vorwandinstallationselement ein mit dem Abflußstutzen des Urinals verbindbares Absaugeformstück.
Bei einer erfindungsgemäßen Ausgestaltung umfaßt das Befestigungselement eine drehbar in der Wand des Urinalkörpers gelagerte Stange sowie ein auf der Stange befestigtes Hakenteil, das in eine Öffnung des an der Wand befestigten Halteelements eingreift. Dieses Halteelement ist vorzugsweise einstellbar an der Wand befestigt. Die Stange des Befestigungselements wird erfindungsgemäß mit einer als Innensechskant ausgebildeten Schlüsselfläche versehen, so daß das Befestigungselement nicht aus der Wand des Urinalkörpers hervorsteht und problemlos gegenüber dem Urinalkörper abgedichtet werden kann.
Insgesamt ergibt sich mit der Erfindung ein wandhängendes Urinal mit kleinstmöglicher Ausladung, das auch in kleinen Gästetoiletten neben dem Waschbecken oder dem WC montiert werden kann, und zwar vor einer verfliesten Wand. Trotz der erfindungsgemäßen Weiterbildung bleibt das Urinal ein Keramikprodukt mit entsprechend hygienischer, porenfreier Oberfläche, das mit normalem Produktionsaufwand hergestellt werden kann.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Urinals dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:

Die Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen einen senkrechten bzw. waagerechten Schnitt durch eine Wand 1, vor der ein Vorwandinstallationselement 2 angeordnet ist und die auf ihrer Außenseite mit Fliesen 3 verkleidet ist.
An dieser Wand 1 ist ein wandhängendes Urinal 4 montiert, das einen Urinalkörper 4.1 umfaßt. Innerhalb dieses Urinalkörpers 4.1 ist ein Urinalbecken 4.2 ausgebildet, das von einem Spülrand 4.3 umgeben ist. Im oberen Teil des Spülrandes 4.3 mündet ein Wasserzulaufstutzen 4.4. An den unteren Teil des Urinalbeckens 4.2 ist ein Abflußstutzen 4.5 angeformt.
Wie insbesondere die Fig. 1 und 2 erkennen lassen, ist der Urinalkörper 4.1 mit einer Wandanlagefläche 4.6 ausgebildet, die gegenüber der Rückwand des Urinalbeckens 4.2 und gegenüber den freien Stirnflächen des Wasserzulaufstutzens 4.4 und Abflußstutzens 4.5 nach vorn versetzt ist. Wie die rückwärtige Ansicht in Fig. 3 zeigt, ist beim Ausführungsbeispiel diese Wandanlagefläche 4.6 ringförmig ausgebildet.
Durch diese nach vorn versetzte Wandanlagefläche 4.6 liegt ein Teil sowohl des Urinalbeckens 4.2 als auch des Wasserzulaufstutzens 4.4 und des Abflußstutzens 4.5 innerhalb der Wand 1, und zwar wegen der Verwendung eines Vorwandinstallationselements 2 beim Ausführungsbeispiel innerhalb dieses Vorwandinstallationselements 2, das demzufolge mit entsprechenden Aussparungen versehen ist. Hierdurch ergibt sich für das Urinal 4 eine sehr geringe Ausladung von etwa 150 mm, so daß das dargestellte und beschriebene Urinal auch in kleinen Privattoiletten problemlos montiert werden kann.
In Fig. 1 ist angedeutet, daß das Vorwandinstallationselement 2 mit einem Absaugeformstück 5 ausgestattet sein kann, an das der Abflußstutzen 4.5 des Urinals 4 angeschlossen wird. Hierdurch reduziert sich nicht nur der Montageaufwand, sondern auch die für die Montage des Urinals 4 benötigte Stärke der Wand 1, da das zugleich einen Geruchverschluß bildende Absaugeformstück 5 nur eine geringe Tiefe hat.
Wie insbesondere Fig. 2 erkennen läßt, ist das Urinalbecken 4.2 an beiden Seiten gegenüber dem das Urinalbecken 4.2 umgebenden Urinalkörper 4.1 derart eingezogen, daß zwischen der Außenfläche des Urinalbeckens 4.2 und der Innenfläche des Urinalkörpers 4.1 ein Aufnahmeraum A entsteht, der Platz für ein Befestigungselement 6 schafft. Dieses Befestigungselement 6 umfaßt eine drehbar in der Wand des Urinalkörpers 4.1 gelagerte Stange 6.1, deren äußeres Ende beim Ausführungsbeispiel mit einer als Innensechskant ausgebildeten Schlüsselfläche versehen ist, und ein Hakenteil 6.2, das unverdrehbar auf der Stange 6.1 befestigt ist. Dieses Hakenteil 6.2 greift - wie am besten in den Fig. 1 und 2 zu erkennen ist - in ein Halteelement 7 ein, das beim Ausführungsbeispiel einstellbar an der Wand 1 befestigt ist und eine entsprechende Eingriffsöffnung für das Hakenteil 6.1 aufweist.
Durch die voranstehend geschilderte Bildung eines Aufnahmeraumes A zwischen Urinalkörper 4.1 und Urinalbecken 4.2 zu beiden Seiten des Urinals 4 ist es möglich, jeweils ein Befestigungselement 6 geschützt im Urinal 4 unterzubringen, so daß dieses problemlos an der Wand 1 befestigt werden kann. Vom Befestigungselement 6 ist jeweils nur der mit einer Schlüsselfläche versehene Kopf der Stange 6.1 von außen zu erkennen. Durch Drehen der Stange 6.1 wird nach Ausrichtung des Urinals 4 an der Wand das Urinal 4 mit seiner ringförmigen Wandanlagefläche 4.6 an die Frontfläche der Wand 1 angezogen, die beim Ausführungsbeispiel mit Fliesen 3 belegt ist. Da die Halteelemente 7 einstellbar an der Wand 1 befestigt sind, und zwar vorzugsweise am Vorwandinstallationselement 2, besteht die notwendige Einstellmöglichkeit für die Öffnung der Halteelemente 7, so daß nach entsprechender Ausrichtung eine problemlose Montage des Urinals 4 an der Wand 1 erfolgen kann.

Claims (8)

  1. Wandhängendes Urinal (4) mit einem innerhalb eines eine Wandanlagefläche (4.6) aufweisenden Urinalkörpers (4.1) ausgebildeten Urinalbecken (4.2), das mit einem Wasserzulaufstutzen (4.4) und einem Abflußstutzen (4.5) versehen ist, die an eine in der Wand (1) verlegte Wasserzuflußleitung bzw. Abflußleitung anschließbar sind,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Wandanlagefläche (4.6) des Urinalkörpers (4.1) gegenüber der Rückwand des Urinalbeckens (4.2) und gegenüber der freien Stirnfläche der Anschlußstutzen (4.4, 4.5) nach vorn versetzt und das Urinalbecken (4.2) an beiden Seiten gegenüber dem das Urinalbecken (4.2) umgebenden Urinalkörper (4.1) derart eingezogen ist, daß zwischen der Außenfläche des Urinalbeckens (4.2) und der Innenfläche des Urinalkörpers (4.1) ein Aufnahmeraum (A) für ein Befestigungselement (6) gebildet ist, das jeweils mit einem an der jeweiligen Wand (1) befestigten Halteelement (7) zusammenwirkt.
  2. Urinal nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wandanlagefläche (4.6) ringförmig ausgebildet ist.
  3. Urinal nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Außenseite der Wandanlagefläche (4.6) ein die Wandoberfläche abdeckendes Profil ausgebildet ist.
  4. Urinal nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Wasserzulaufstutzen (4.4) und der Abflußstutzen (4.5) an entsprechende Anschlüsse eines Vorwandinstallationselementes (2) anschließbar sind.
  5. Urinal nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Vorwandinstallationselement (2) ein mit dem Abflußstutzen (4.5) verbindbares Absaugeformstück (5) enthält.
  6. Urinal nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Befestigungselement (6) eine drehbare in der Wand des Urinalkörpers (4.1) gelagerte Stange (6.1) sowie ein auf der Stange (6.1) befestigtes Hakenteil (6.2) umfaßt, das in eine Öffnung des an der Wand (1) befestigten Halteelements (7) eingreift.
  7. Urinal nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Halteelement (7) einstellbar an der Wand (1) befestigt ist.
  8. Urinal nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stange (6.1) des Befestigungselements (6) mit einer als Innensechskant ausgebildeten Schlüsselfläche versehen ist.
