Definitions
- the invention relates to a wet floor mopping device with a Handle that is at its lower end with one elongated mop holder extending transversely to both sides connected who carries a flat mop.
- Such wet floor mopping devices which can also be used as a mop or Cleaning mop are used to cover a floor, Steps, steps and similar surfaces damp wipe up. After each wiping process, the absorbent becomes Material existing mop in a bucket of cleaning water rinsed out, soaking the mop with water. The Excess amount of water must be before the next one Be wiped out.
- Wet floor mopping devices referred to as round mops have one essentially rotationally symmetrical mop. Because of these The mop can be easily shaped in a press basket be squeezed out, which is placed on a bucket and the Has the shape of a rotationally symmetrical sieve cup.
- This Press basket is relatively light and simple; due to its small external dimensions, it can be opened conventional round buckets, but also on elongated buckets be put on because of their shape and dimensions too can be safely parked on stairs.
- Such round mops have the disadvantage that they do not or difficult to run in corners or niches and that they only have a relatively small wiping width have less than the usual depth of a Stair step.
- the width in which Wiping a contact pressure can be exerted by determined relatively small diameter of the mop holder, to which the round mop is attached.
- wet floor wipers of the type mentioned at the beginning an elongated mop holder and a flat one, over the entire width of the elongated mop holder have the advantage that they have a large wiping width have and that a contact pressure over this entire Wiping width can be exercised.
- the flat version of the Pug and the use of an elongated mop holder also make it easier to guide the pug in corners and niches.
- the mop which is designed as a one-piece wipe, is a wire rope carried between the ends of two folding arms is stretched. If the arms and that The mop must be folded by hand, the wire rope be wrung out.
- a known wet floor mopping device (DE-GM 74 15 600) has a one-piece sponge on two against each other hinged holder halves is attached and between them is pressed out like pliers.
- the object of the invention is therefore, while maintaining the Advantages of the known, simple round press baskets To create a wet floor mop with a large mop width at which the contact pressure are exerted over a large width can.
- the Mop consists of two moph halves, each of one Mop carrying edge of the mop holder that the two are worn Mop edges at least in the raised position of the Mop holder in opposite directions obliquely outwards sloping that the headers of the two Moph halves are spaced from each other and that the The height of each header is at least 2 cm.
- the mop can be pressed out handle almost like a round mop, i.e. the mop can in a conventional, rotationally symmetrical press basket from small width can be squeezed out on a narrow Bucket can be placed on the stairs can be turned off.
- the rotationally symmetrical shape of the Press basket allows the mop to be fully twisted and wring out as much as possible, but only a relatively low squeezing pressure can be exerted got to. It is not necessary to execute predetermined number of revolutions and / or one certain rotational position predetermined by an insertion slot of the pug.
- These as simple circular sieves executed press baskets have only a relatively small Depth and therefore can also be on a small and therefore light, easy-to-use bucket.
- the mop holder is of simple construction and therefore light and inexpensive to manufacture; its weight is light.
- the two facing ends of the mop edges can be spaced apart. Since this is the two moph halves separated and their headers are arranged at a distance from each other below tapering course of the threads or strips of the two Moph halves supported. In addition, the replacement of the Pug relieved because two separate moph halves were replaced will. Despite dividing the pug into two Moph halves whose headers are spaced apart are arranged, there is no gap between the when wiping two moph halves.
- the two mop edges on mop holder legs are formed, each one across Longitudinal pivot axis between a horizontal position and a sloping towards the outside Position are pivotable.
- These mop holder legs take in raised state of the wet floor wiper after sloping position on the outside and swivel the two moph halves attached to each other so that the bundle of. hanging from the two moph halves Threads or strips tapered down.
- the two mop holder legs preferably each have two Stop surfaces in the two swivel positions of the Mop holder legs each on a counter surface of a Handle part attached mop support center piece to the system come.
- the two mop holder legs for the Wiping in a simple manner in their horizontal Position determined so that the required contact pressure for the wiping process can be performed.
- the two mop holder legs can pivot freely on the Mop carrier centerpiece be stored, being in both of them Swiveling end positions either by wiping exerted pressure or brought by gravity.
- the wet floor mop shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a handle 1, at the lower end Mop holder 2 is attached, which is in the in Fig. 1st position shown on both sides transversely to the longitudinal direction of the handle extends.
- the mop holder 2 has two mop holder legs 3 on, which is transverse to the longitudinal direction of the stem extending pivot axis 4 between one shown in Fig. 1 horizontal position and a position shown in Fig. 2 are pivotable, in which the two mop holder legs 3 obliquely fall outwards and downwards.
- the two mop holder legs 3 are freely pivotable on one Mop holder center piece 5 mounted on the handle 1 is preferably interchangeably attached.
- Each mop holder leg 3 has two stop surfaces 6 and 7 on.
- the mop carrier center piece 5 is with a continuous, horizontal counter surface 8 provided on the horizontal Leg position (Fig. 1) the stop surfaces 7 and in the sloping leg position (Fig. 2) the Stop surfaces 6 of the mop holder legs 3 come to rest.
- Each mop holder leg 3 has an outwardly open Insert slot 9 in which the upper section of a Header 10 of a mop half 11 is inserted.
- the two Moph halves 11 together form a mop 12. From each Heading 10 hang threads or strips 13 hanging out absorbent material. Instead, the mop can too Have rags.
- the lower edge of the insertion slot 9 forms a mop edge 14 and, like the one opposite it, is at a distance Slot top edge 15 with inward Holding teeth 16 provided.
- the holding teeth 16 serve the from the outside in the slot 9 inserted header 10 to hold the mop half 11.
- the effective width of the pug 12 is thus much larger than the distance between the ends of the Mop holder legs 3; nonetheless, this one works applied pressure across the entire mop width. The This makes flexibility of the protruding mop parts easier Screw into the press basket.
- modified embodiment of a Wet floor mop differs from the version 1 and 2 only in that the two are pivotable mounted mop holder legs 3 each via a tension member 18, for example a wire, articulated with a along the Handle 1 sliding slide valve 19 are connected, which in the illustrated embodiment as a sliding sleeve is trained.
- This allows the two mop holder legs 3 even in the raised state, i.e. before the Placing the pug 12 on the floor, in its horizontal, brought spread position and held in this position be so that the mop holder legs 3 even at one Do not swing the pug 12 briefly down.
- the embodiments according to Figures 1 to 3 takes the height h of the header 10 of each mop half 11 from Inside to the outside so that the shoulder seam 22 too even when the two mop holder legs are in a horizontal position 3 is sloping towards the outside.
- the example according to Fig. 4 is the height h of the header 10 over the entire width constant. Because of the fixed arrangement of the sloping Mop edges 14 also drop the shoulder seams 22 here diagonally outwards. Especially when using Strips 13 or rags and leads from stronger material the oblique course of the shoulder seams 22 during execution 4 can be seen that the bundle of Strip 13 tapers downward, thereby introducing it into the Hit basket 17 is facilitated.
- the height h of the head strip 10 of the mop 12 is preferably chosen larger than conventional pug, preferably at least 2 cm or more. This leads to the fact that arrangement of the headers 10 sloping outwards (at least when the wet floor mop is raised) the extreme starting points of the strips 13 or threads be shifted inside, although the outer corners of the Project headers 10 further outwards and therefore at Wiping a contact pressure over a larger width enable.
