    Claims (10)

    1. Rolling device for being fitted on the lower rail (2) of a sliding leaf (3) of a door, window or the like, including, on the one hand, rolling means (8) in the form of at least one rail-wheel (9) rotationally mounted in a cover (19) and, on the other hand, height-adjusting means (11) for the rolling means (8) in the form of means capable of transforming a longitudinal and horizontal impulse exerted on said cover (19) by control means (12) into a displacement with a vertical component of this cover (10), said control means (12) including a set screw (24) passing through a fixing bracket (25) inserted against the front (26) or rear edge of the sliding leaf (3) with a view to co-operating with a nut (27) a transmission rod (28) extending under the lower rail (2) of the sliding leaf (3) and connected to said cover (19) is provided with, characterised in that:
      the means capable of transforming a longitudinal and horizontal impulse into a vertical displacement include a first member (16, 21) integral with the cover (10), co-operating with a second member (17) integral with the leaf (3), in order to transform the horizontal impulse exerted on the cover into a displacement with a vertical component of this cover (10) in front of said second member (17);
      the fixing bracket (25) is in the form of a blade and includes, at its lower end, a hole for the passing-through of the set screw (24).
    2. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the blade of the fixing bracket (25) is of a metallic or plastic type, this fixing bracket (25) including, on the one hand, holes for the passing-through of screws for fixing this blade to said front (26) or rear vertical edge of the sliding leaf (3) and, on the other hand, at its lower end, a wing (29) folded at right angle and extending in part at the level of the lower edge (14) of the lower rail (2) of the sliding leaf (3).
    3. Rolling device according to claim 1, characterised in that the fixing bracket (25) is substantially formed by a face-plate corresponding to a locking fitting, such as an espagnolette or espagnolette-lock, installed in a cut-out or in a groove (30) provided for this purpose at the level of the front (26) and/or rear vertical edge of the sliding leaf (3), said face-plate including, at its lower end, a hole (31) for the passing-through of the fixing screw (24).
    4. Rolling device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the transmission rod (28) extends inside a groove and/or a cut-out (13) provided for at the level of the lower edge (14) of the lower rail (2) corresponding to the sliding leaf (3).
    5. Rolling device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the nut (27) the transmission rod (28) is provided with for receiving the set screw (24) is formed by a wing (32) folded at right angle at the free end (33) of this transmission rod (28), this wing (32) being perforated with a tapped hole (34) for receiving said set screw (24).
    6. Rolling device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the control means (12) are completed with means (35) for immobilising the set screw (24) in translation with respect to the fixing bracket (25).
    7. Rolling device according to claim 6, characterised in that said means for immobilising in translation (35) are comprised of a helical spring mounted on said set screw (24), while being interposed between the fixing bracket (25) and the nut (27) of the transmission rod (28).
    8. Rolling device according to any of the preceding claims, the means of which capable of transforming a longitudinal and horizontal impulse on the cover (10) into a displacement with a vertical component of the latter are in the form of an inclined sustaining ramp (15) provided for on a support (17) inserted against the sliding leaf (3), this inclined sustaining ramp (15) co-operating with a counter-ramp (16) associated to said cover (10), characterised in that it includes means (37) for indexing the position of the cover (10) with respect to its support (17), which are in the form of a severable stud (38) integral with the inclined sustaining ramp (15) and that engages with a slot with sharp edges (39) present at the level of the counter-ramp (16).
    9. Rolling device according to claim 8, characterised in that the indexing stud (38) contributes to maintaining the cover (10) on its support (17), this indexing stud (38) having a T-shape the horizontal wing portions (40, 41) of which position themselves under the rims (42, 43) of the slot with sharp edges (39) corresponding to said counter-ramp (16).
    10. Rolling device according to any of claims 1 to 7, including means capable of transforming the longitudinal and horizontal impulse on the cover (10) into a displacement with a vertical component in the form of at least one inclined slot (20) provided for at the level of the support (17) or of the cover (10) and through which passes a spindle (21) made integral, at its ends, with either the cover (10) or said support (17), respectively, characterised in that it includes means (37) for indexing the position of the cover (10) with respect to its support (17), which are in the form of a narrowing at the end of travel of the inclined slot (20) provided for at the level of either the support (17) or the cover (10), with a view to temporarily immobilising the spindle (21) in translation in said inclined slot (20).
